241: Chapter 239: The Stage Rises 241: Chapter 239: The Stage Rises Nan Zhubin sat in the audience, watching Lin Lulin, observing and judging his state.

The host on stage took one last look at the cue cards, brought the microphone to his lips, and assud a poised posture.

His voice, amplified by the microphone, filled the eardrums, leaving the audience montarily unable to process any other information.

“Distinguished teachers, students, and psychology workers and enthusiasts who have gathered here from all over, good afternoon!”

Nan Zhubin, Huang Xin, Doctor Chen, Xia Tian, Weng Pinting, Bai Qinghua, Liu Pan, Lin Lulin, and countless others scattered throughout the auditorium clapped either sincerely or perfunctorily; so knowing what was about to happen, others not.

“First, please allow to introduce the leaders and teachers present to guide us today, they are…

following that…”

The host finished the opening, and the first leader took the stage: “Dear students, teachers, colleagues, in recent years, psychological issues have increasingly beco common and are starting to erge more frequently in the work, study, and lives of ordinary people.

We sotis are surprised to find that as psychology professionals, even our colleagues, students, and family quietly encounter problems…”

Doctor Chen sat among the hospital team, with tightly clenched fists.

He stared intently at Lin Lulin ahead, desperate to rush at him, yet repeatedly stopping himself, ntally chanting: Not yet, not yet…

The second leader took the stage: “As everyone knows, psychology is still very young in our country, and the developnt of psychological consultation is not only young but also faces many obstacles.

We urgently need to cultivate qualified and suitable psychological consultants, which is why we are promoting this supervision conference so that all consultants with the ans can learn and improve themselves…”

Huang Xin quietly slipped back, looked up at Liu Pan sitting in the front row, and chuckled lightly.

He didn’t return imdiately but looked down at his phone, waiting for instructions labeled “Annoying Nan Zhubin.”

Then the third leader took the stage: “…In fact, I am very optimistic about the developnt of our psychological consultation industry.

‘Helping others to help themselves’ has always been the ultimate goal in our field.

We assist clients in distress, and when they co out of it, they can help themselves and even more people like themselves who encounter difficulties…”

Nan Zhubin slightly lowered his body, maintaining a position that allowed him to see the outside, but the outside—at least Lin Lulin—could not see him.

“Mr.

Nan, are you alright?” a voice softly asked nearby.

Nan Zhubin looked up at the student providing him cover and whispered, “No, I’m fine, even too fine…

I must say, it’s quite a surprise to et you here.”

The last leader took the stage: “Currently, there is a huge gap in psychological talents in our country.

This is both an opportunity and a challenge for everyone present.

Many people outside of the industry leverage psychological consultation to make a fortune, stigmatizing it.

We professionals should always rember the ethical guidelines of psychological consultants from our first lesson, stay mission-conscious, and pass this spirit on to the next generation of new consultants…”

Lin Lulin anxiously looked around, inadvertently locking eyes with Weng Pinting in the sa row.

He was surprised the other was doing the sa thing and that they t eyes by chance.

Despite past grievances, recognizing the other’s teacher was also present today, Lin Lulin nodded to Weng Pinting.

After the leaders finished speaking, the host returned to the stage: “Now, let’s officially begin today’s supervision conference.

Let’s invite the first teacher to present, whose report topic is—”

—————–

Lin Lulin didn’t hear clearly at all.

Even though he was an old professor, he knew the importance of constant learning, attending the conference not just to report, but also to accumulate case studies and improve himself.

But now, his attention was entirely focused on his surroundings.

After the first presenter finished, Lin Lulin’s mood beca increasingly anxious.

After the second presenter finished, Lin Lulin’s mood began to weigh down.

After the third presenter finished, it was Lin Lulin’s turn to take the stage.

Lin Lulin, however, started to calm down.

His reaction was fully observed by those who had been watching him.

Nan Zhubin at this ti took out his phone and sent a ssage to Huang Xin.

The phone screen lit up in the darkness, thereafter, the older graduate student visibly relaxed and strode forward.

“Mr.

Nan, what are you doing right now?”

A sudden question arose by his ear.

Nan Zhubin paused, looked at the girl beside him, and chuckled: “I’m about to let my internal cause take the stage, to weaken my forr teacher for the last ti.”

The girl beside him asked in confusion: “How is he going to do that?

What’s the principle?”

Nan Zhubin explained: “Through a series of arrangents before the eting, Lin Lulin’s psychological defenses have been pulled at many tis; sitting in the auditorium during the eting for him was like a slow simr, a torturous brew.

Now, he’s only a little calm because his report is due.”

“I’m going to have my senior brother take the stage to tug at him a few more tis, making my forr teacher even weaker…”

On the stage, Lin Lulin just stood in his position and finished introducing himself to the crowd.

Suddenly, he saw the recently missing Huang Xin reappear and, with a few words, persuaded Liu Pan to leave, regaining control of the PPT presentation.

these two guys!!!]

The girl next to Nan Zhubin asked again: “Isn’t this bad teacher gonna be scared this ti?”

Nan Zhubin shook his head: “Not just once.”

He pointed to the courseware on stage that had just ended the projection, smoothly switching to the next slide.

“When my senior brother first appeared, Lin Lulin on stage must have been nervous upon seeing him; but then my senior brother cooperated so well, so Lin Lulin would relax again, thinking his previous suspicion was unfounded—this was a tug in completely two directions.”

“After the report ends, it would seem like Lin Lulin’s tornt is almost over.

At this ti when his psychological defenses are weakest, is when I can take the stage.”

The girl beside laughed: “It was supposed to be my turn to take the stage.”

Nan Zhubin also laughed: “Yes, Zhang Lu, it was supposed to be your turn.”
