Who would study psychology unless they had some issues?! Chapter 820: 681: Standards and Beyond (Part 2)
Capítulo 820: Chapter 681: Standards and Beyond (Part 2)
This plain reaction made Shi Chuxin involuntarily speechless once again.
It seed as though her reminder was entirely unnecessary.
“Cough, cough… The main thing is, when I worked in the past, I always encountered so interns who didn’t know their limits, causing trouble that led to their dismissal, not to ntion the chaos they caused for the company.”
Shi Chuxin forced a smile: “I should have rembered that even my teacher praised your skills in consultation and trusted you with a project… I guess I spoke too much.”
Nan Zhubin responded to Shi Chuxin’s politeness with standard social etiquette: “Not at all, I hope you continue to offer guidance.”
Although the person in front of Shi Chuxin expressed courteous words, Shi Chuxin always felt as though he was a pre-programd AI, rely triggered into auto-reply by her words.
It really was just re politeness.
She paused once again—As a psychology graduate specializing in employee relations, she felt she was pausing quite frequently in their conversation today.
This is a sign of very weak control over the rhythm of the conversation.
What Shi Chuxin had anticipated was not this.
“Let’s continue discussing the main issue.” Shi Chuxin steadied her mind, “Regarding this project…”
Knock, knock, knock—
Before she could finish her sentence, the door to the office suddenly knocked.
“Chuxin, are you in there?”
Accompanying the knock was a voice calling from outside.
Shi Chuxin had no choice but to pause again.
“Shi Chuxin, you have business to attend to first.” Nan Zhubin was very understanding.
Shi Chuxin gave an apologetic smile, opened the door, revealing a female employee.
“This is my assistant,” Shi Chuxin introduced.
The female assistant being able to find this place indicated she was well-aware of Shi Chuxin’s schedule and hence knew who was currently in the eting room.
She also wore a smile very similar to Shi Chuxin’s and greeted everyone inside the room before saying, “Chuxin, soone is looking for you.”
“Who?”
“Director Chen. You know, here to discuss…” The assistant’s head suddenly leaned closer to Shi Chuxin, and her voice further lowered, becoming vague regarding “that… matter.”
Upon hearing this, Shi Chuxin seed to sense sothing and suddenly looked towards her office.
Behind Shi Chuxin, Nan Zhubin and the others couldn’t help but follow her gaze.
…
A man dressed in a crisp black suit stood at Shi Chuxin’s office door, tall in stature, short, neat hair, tightly gripping a docunt bag.
At this mont, he stood like a sculpture on the floor, his gaze directed towards the EAP office.
After making eye contact with Shi Chuxin, he gave a forceful smile, very social.
Like a sculpture capable of changing expressions.
…
Shi Chuxin responded to the man with an apologetic smile.
Once she turned back, all the lines on her face quickly darkened: “At the very least, ask him into my office, also why didn’t you call ? Do you not know I’m discussing project matters?”
This expression and tone ford a stark contrast to her deanor when speaking with Nan Zhubin.
Or rather, she seed to have been suppressing sothing during the conversation with Nan Zhubin, now finally showing it without restraint.
“Sis, you didn’t pick up your phone; maybe it was on silent…” The assistant seed slightly aggrieved.
Shi Chuxin took a deep breath and said, “Invite Director Chen to my office and serve him so tea, I’ll be right there.”
Then Shi Chuxin turned her face back to Nan Zhubin.
“Nan Zhubin…”
“Shi Chuxin, you have business to attend, go ahead, I actually need so ti to organize things here.” Nan Zhubin was very understanding now.
“Okay, my briefcase contains many of the latest files regarding this project. I ca to discuss this today… you can take a look first, we will discuss any questions later.”
Shi Chuxin hurriedly left, her figure disappearing from everyone’s view.
The office atmosphere instantly relaxed.
Several young consultants from the company exchanged glances, starting to curiously examine this temporary base.
On the other hand, the few master’s students assigned by the research group still appeared sowhat nervous.
One reason is that they have limited work experience, being suddenly placed into such a major project by Bai Qinghua naturally made them tense.
Another reason—They weren’t familiar with Nan Zhubin and the others.
Indeed, although Nan Zhubin is an inner sect disciple of the research group, Mo Kai is a quasi-outer disciple, these two haven’t t many tis with other outer sect disciples from the research group, rather, their relations are more acquainted with the company’s consultants.
Today they left ho in a hurry, Nan Zhubin t these master’s students for the first ti, and so far hadn’t exchanged many words.
That’s not surprising. Nan Zhubin occasionally visits the research group, true, but so outer sect disciples besides attending group etings, rarely go to the research group’s office, barely crossing paths with Nan Zhubin.
So don’t even have a workstation.
At this mont, the master’s students curiously watched Nan Zhubin. Clearly, although they haven’t studied within the research group, the gossip of the research group hasn’t been scanty at all; they already knew that Teacher Bai Qinghua had reserved a significantly special inner sect disciple.
“In the coming ti, we are colleagues, perhaps we should all introduce ourselves first.” Nan Zhubin suggested seeing the situation.
Locking the door, the group sat around the conference table.
The atmosphere was amicable. Consultants from the company knew these master’s students were the boss’s students, speaking very politely; anwhile, the master’s students knew these consultants possessed real-world experience and skills, speaking with respect.
And so, a round of self-introductions concluded quickly.
Work officially began.
“Let’s organize the materials we’ll use next.”
Nan Zhubin’s gaze swept across the room: “Xiao Kai, take two people to note the details of the consultation room, especially areas needing improvent—light-blocking properties of the blinds, thickness of the sound insulation cotton, etc., list them clearly and later show them to Shi Chuxin.”
“The rest, follow to organize materials, categorize evaluation tables, brochures, leave one person at the reception desk for registration when soone cos to consult.”
He paused, pointing to a female team mber: “Could you temporarily handle the reception desk? You have a good image.”
The appointed female master’s student pointed at her face, her cheeks slightly reddening.
Nan Zhubin’s tone was calm, he turned and continued: “Let clarify—our core task in the first step is corporate internal investigation and demand assessnt, which is also the focus of most EAP projects’ opening chapters. First, we let employees gain a preliminary understanding of our services and confidentiality principles through brochures, followed by conducting a preliminary stress screening through basic questionnaires to identify core concerns and directions for departntal needs. Only then can we accurately match group counseling or individual consultation.”
“Understood.”*6.
A standard EAP project typically encompasses four phases, each phase is planned weekly, with the entire process potentially spanning several months.
During Nan Zhubin’s graduate entrance exam period, Shi Chuxin and the research group helped him complete the first preparation phase, or the [Preparation Period]. The main tasks included compliance agreent signing, establishnt of organizational structure and communication chanisms, design and pre-optimization of investigation tools, etc.
With the end of this stage, Nan Zhubin had, and what Shi Chuxin just handed him in the docunt bag, a collection of phase results, including cooperation, confidentiality security agreents, organizational division list, communication chanism manual, optimized investigation questionnaires, etc.
The following second phase then becos the primary task for Nan Zhubin and his team, known as the [Survey Diagnosis Period], encompassing comprehensive employee investigations, data collection and analysis, diagnosis report and plan customization—all tasks requiring the team to effectively reach target goals before they can proceed.
At the end of this stage, after obtaining the evaluation report and confirming execution plans, cos the third phase, the [Service Implentation Period], beginning work like psychological health education, group counseling, individual psychological consultation, etc.
This is the standard process, and initially Nan Zhubin thought that this ti the work would follow this approach.
However, shortly after dealing with “business matters,” Shi Chuxin sought out Nan Zhubin.
“Nan Zhubin, are you available in the next two days to conduct a psychological consultation for a key employee here?”
