82: Chapter 81 The Upcoming New Case 82: Chapter 81 The Upcoming New Case Jiang University Psychology College, experintal office floor.

The small-eyed senior nervously lowered his head and swallowed a bit of saliva.

He cautiously lifted his eyes for a second towards the ntor behind the desk, only seeing a back view.

Although the small-eyed senior was a graduate student in psychology, the ntor’s expertise was evidently superior, not only able to read others but also prevent others from reading him.

So the small-eyed senior couldn’t discern anything, only feeling increasingly anxious.

“I heard that Zhuren sent a young law school teacher inside to cure a visitor?” A voice suddenly sounded.

This voice was gentle and magnetic, the kind that would subconsciously make one relax in a consultation room.

Upon hearing it, the small-eyed senior imdiately stiffened: “Yes!”

“Is that so…

the child is really improving.”

Saying so, the ntor turned around and stood up.

He was of dium build, about 1.75 ters tall, neither dismissible nor oppressive; wearing a gray woolen suit jacket with a black cashre sweater inside, presenting both a formal yet not overly severe appearance.

He was around fifty years old, his skin well-maintained, hair thick, with a touch of white at the temples, which he regarded favorably — white hair being a testant to a man’s life experience, proof of ti.

At a certain age, a man’s temperant becos more important than appearance.

And here stood a scholar whose re presence suggested vast knowledge, worldly experience, and trustworthiness.

From the naplate on his desk, one could see his na: Lin Lulin

At this mont, he lanted, “I rember Zhuren was expelled at the beginning of the year, he didn’t have much training in between and wasted his studies.

Later, because I had to go abroad for a conference, I entrusted Howard to look after him, never expecting he would cause such a commotion.”

“Even abroad, I heard about the great things Zhuren did.

Many professors from the college called to congratulate on teaching a good student.”

The small-eyed senior dared not respond.

Indeed, Lin Lulin imdiately changed his tone: “This ‘good student’ also includes you, Xiao Xin.

I heard you made quite a spectacle at Zhuren’s lecture?”

Huang Xin — the small-eyed senior’s na, appearing for the first ti — suddenly tensed up.

Lin Lulin liked to suddenly question in silence, never allowing a mont’s relaxation.

His kindness was never genuine; one could never fathom the true emotions hidden under that affable mask of the psychology ntor.

Had anyone ever truly made Lin Lulin like them over this lengthy period?

Huang Xin thought there might have been, but that person was gone.

That person was called Nan Zhubin.

“Xiao Xin, what are you thinking about?”

Lin Lulin imdiately noticed Huang Xin’s mind wandering, instantly striking him with a voice as resounding as a bell.

Huang Xin’s small eyes widened: “Teacher…

I was reflecting, thinking about perhaps having a better way to solve it at that ti, if I…”

“Forget it, this isn’t your fault.” Lin Lulin waved his hand, “After all, it’s Zhuren, he’s too clever.”

Huang Xin sighed with relief yet also wasn’t entirely convinced.

But he knew he shouldn’t be unconvinced.

“Does Xiao Liu know about Zhuren’s case?”

Xiao Liu, the nickna for the Big Nose junior, appearing for the first ti.

“No, I just took the junior along while working.

He doesn’t know about Zhuren’s case back then — at least not the parts outsiders don’t know.”

Lin Lulin nodded, not saying much more.

He waved his hand: “Alright, you can go, I’ll handle the subsequent matters.

Now Zhuren is responsible for the joint project between Old Howard’s side and the college, right?

I should be able to see him soon.”

Huang Xin felt greatly relieved.

He swiftly and quietly approached the door, turned back to see the ntor picking up the phone.

Dialing a number.

“Hello, Old Howard, it’s , Old Lin.”

“Yes, yes, just returned from abroad yesterday.”

“I want to talk to you about Zhuren’s matter, the student I entrusted to you so ti ago, rember…

Ah, don’t don’t don’t, I should be thanking you for looking after him.

After all, he caused such a big trouble, and you’re still willing to take him in for my sake, that’s really sothing.”

Huang Xin saw the ntor’s brow furrow: “However, Old Howard, didn’t I say that it would be enough for him to be an assistant consultant?

You’re too accommodating, how co you let him beco a consultant taking on visitors?”

“What?

No special treatnt, he relied on his own skills, his performance is very good, and he can earn a lot now?”

Huang Xin saw the ntor’s brow furrow further.

“Speaking of which, Old Howard, have things not been going well on your side recently?

I have a case to transfer over to you if you want?”

“No need, no need, my students here are quite busy, just looking for a reliable friend to help out — no no, no need to specifically give it to Zhuren; this case is ‘particularly troubleso’!”

Lin Lulin said two more sentences and quickly hung up.

He saw a trace of annoyance rise quickly on the ntor’s face before being subdued.

Imdiately, he saw the ntor dial another number, but it seed no one answered.

He didn’t dare to guess whom this call was intended for, as staying in this room any longer would be impolite.

So Huang Xin turned around and gently closed the door.

“Buzz—Buzz—”

The phone screen lit up, displaying the word [Teacher].

A hand ca over and picked it up.

“[Teacher]?” Shen Bing glanced at the two words on the screen, then looked at the sleeping Nan Zhubin.

Sneered and pressed the disconnect button with a “beep”.

A nearby friendly assistant saw this scene and quietly ca over to ask.

“Ah Bing, who was calling Mr.

Nan?

It’s not good to hang up privately like that, right?”

Shen Bing gestured for this assistant to move a bit further away, so as not to disturb the resting Nan Zhubin, recharging his energy.

“Look at this note — [Teacher].”

“What’s wrong?”

“Don’t you know why Mr.

Nan ca here?

How good could his relationship be with the one labeled [Teacher]?” Shen Bing stated assertively.

He added, “Not to ntion Mr.

Nan has been doing this massive thing at Jiang University lately…

Maybe it’s to question him.”

“Working in psychological consultation is already exhausting for Mr.

Nan.

As his assistants, we should think of ways to let the consultant rest more and preserve energy to handle upcoming visitors — if it’s really necessary, I can tell Mr.

Nan after he wakes up.”

Seeing Shen Bing’s confidence, the questioning assistant didn’t doubt further.

Perhaps being by the side of the most successful consultant in the center was because Shen Bing knew how to handle things this way?

He learned sothing!

anwhile, Nan Zhubin had long drifted into slumber, arriving at the dream psychological counseling center.

In front of him, several big characters kept flashing.
