On the high platform, the imnse King’s Tent, overlooking the grassland like a Heavenly Palace gazing down on the earth, was already surrounded by guards who had lit torches, illuminating the King’s Tent brightly.

The firelight glead, reflecting on the faces of those Samurai.

Each of them bore a solemn and murderous expression, as if they all understood that today would be an important day, deciding the fate of the cloud looming over their heads and who it will ultimately belong to.

Shang Ruyi stood at the entrance, silently gazing ahead.

At this mont, a few guards erged from the King’s Tent, seemingly on orders, hurried down the high platform, and whispered sothing to the tents closest to the King’s Tent.

This should be Shali Khan summoning everyone.

Shang Ruyi instinctively held her breath, and in the next mont, saw a familiar figure erge from one of the tents not far ahead.

It was Lei Yu.

She now appeared as a typical Turkic woman, her hair styled conveniently into a bun, dressed in a thick fur coat, the fluffy fox fur at the collar and cuffs adding warmth and accentuating her round jade-like face, giving her a unique, gentle charm.

Once she stepped out, she imdiately turned her head, looking towards Shang Ruyi.

Their gazes t, sharing unspoken thoughts.

However, she did not walk over, as in the next mont, another tall figure followed her out of the tent—it was Prince Yiasu, also wearing a long fur coat, which did not hide his agile and elegant deanor. Upon stepping out, he was almost blinded by the wind, but instinctively reached out to hold Lei Yu, as if afraid she might get chilled by the wind.

Lei Yu brushed his hand away, said a couple of words, and he imdiately laughed, quietly moving behind her to shield her from the wind.

Then, the two turned and walked towards the King’s Tent.

Just as they were about to lift their feet, a voice filled with coldness even in the chill wind blew to their ears, slicing through like a knife.

"Yiasu."

Upon hearing this voice, Prince Yiasu turned around with a smile: "Elder Brother!"

The speaker was Ashina Zhuxie.

He had just erged from the tent, gazing at the younger brother and sister-in-law ahead. Though the dawn had not yet broken, in the dim light, his eyes glinted slightly.

As for Lei Yu, when her eyes t his gaze, shadowed yet holding a certain extraordinary gleam, her heart suddenly sank.

She said nothing, only lowered her head, and seeing her like this, Ashina Zhuxie seed to sense sothing too, but remained silent, slowly walking up to Yiasu, saying: "You’re up this early."

Yiasu replied: "Father Khan sent soone to call us to the King’s Tent. Elder Brother, you too—"

"Yes."

"Elder Brother..."

Perhaps thinking that today, the elder brother before him would face a sowhat awkward, even embarrassing situation, despite his own joy, Yiasu also felt awkward, hesitated a little, and softly said: "Elder Brother, actually I—"

Before he could finish, Ashina Zhuxie lightly interrupted him.

He said: "Do not keep Father Khan waiting too long, let’s go first."

Having said that, he patted Yiasu’s shoulder, his gaze fleetingly passing over Lei Yu behind Yiasu, her eyes lowered, avoiding his gaze, and the broad shoulders stirred a breeze that brushed past her cheek as Ashina Zhuxie walked by them.

Looking at his retreating figure, Yiasu was sowhat stunned.

Until the nearby guards urged them once more, he snapped out of it, took Lei Yu’s hand, and the two walked up the high platform.

Watching them leave, standing at the tent entrance, Shang Ruyi’s cheeks and ears ached from the cold wind, yet she had not returned inside, continually gazing as their figures vanished into the giant King’s Tent entrance, her mood growing increasingly tense—

Today’s scenario pertained to the shifting dynamics of the Turkic court, and naturally Ashina Shali would not allow her to go.

But her heart was entirely tied to the King’s Tent.

What kind of ending will today bring?

The next mont, a whirlwind suddenly struck, the winds howling, carrying with it dry grass and dust from the grassland, roaring past the Yatai like thousands of horses, making everyone close their eyes, seemingly pressed down by the ominous aura in the wind, and Shang Ruyi furrowed her brow, unwittingly recalling Lei Yu’s words—

I don’t believe he won’t co.

Perhaps when he arrives, it will be in a way you never imagined.

But now, with the Turkic changes having reached this point, Yu Wenye...will he truly co?
