Soon, the ti reached the second day.

In the morning, Chen Wen checked the pot and saw that the saltwater had completely frozen solid.

Two wooden sticks were just right to serve as handles, allowing Chen Wen to carry the salt ice.

He used Hua Yun’s small enal bowl to heat so water and pour it on the bottom of the pot.

Soon, Chen Wen took out the whole block of salt ice.

"I’ll give it a try, and if it doesn’t work, we’ll abandon the supplies and leave."

Said Chen Wen, making his final decision.

Hua Yun nodded.

This morning, she planned to stay at camp to rest and also pick up so firewood around the area.

After dividing the tasks, the lynx stayed at the camp to protect Hua Yun.

The Golden Eagle joined Chen Wen to attempt to ta the moose.

....

Passing through the dense coniferous forest, Chen Wen and the Golden Eagle arrived at the valley where they found the moose yesterday.

This family of moose was settled, primarily because of the abundant food in the valley and the occasional salt they could find.

The moose were large, and their need for salt was significant.

When Chen Wen arrived, the moose were feeding.

In winter, these big creatures spent most of their daylight hours eating to sustain the energy needed for survival.

This gave Chen Wen a headache.

Even if he managed to ta the moose, it would only be temporary.

Once they reached the town, the moose would have to be released.

Chen Wen couldn’t afford to keep this thing; it was a giant gold-eating beast.

After planning behind the rocky hill for a while.

Chen Wen stepped out again and approached the moose herd.

As the moose heard Chen Wen’s footsteps, the male moose ca out again.

It tilted its head, looking at Chen Wen, not far away, with extre caution.

"Hey, don’t be nervous, I brought gifts this ti!"

Chen Wen quickly took out his trump card—the salt ice.

Although the moose had poor eyesight, their sense of sll was quite good.

The male moose sniffed, seemingly catching a faint whiff of sothing.

It tilted its head and let out a low call.

This call was different from previous ones, giving Chen Wen hope for taming the moose.

He extended his hand and slowly approached the moose.

"Don’t be afraid~ Don’t be afraid~ Sll this? Isn’t it fragrant? Different from ordinary ice?"

"Let tell you, this is my carefully crafted new ice. Once you taste it, you’ll know it’s the best thing in the world."

"Hehehe, right, co over."

Under Chen Wen’s inducent, the male moose watched Chen Wen approach, extending the salt ice in front of it.

The male moose hesitantly stuck out its tongue and licked the salt ice.

Hmm!

Ninety-nine percent! Precious stuff!

The moose’s eyes changed imdiately.

The stones they licked were shared by the whole family.

They had long been licked tasteless.

But this salt ice was different!

The fine salt made by humans mixed with water, forming a salt solution with a concentration nearing twenty percent, freezing into ice.

This was far tastier than the ancestral stones of the moose!

For a mont, the moose was reluctant to let go of its tongue.

Yet it still overca the temptation of the salt ice with difficulty, slowly withdrawing its head.

Looking at the large antlers on the moose, Chen Wen was a bit nervous.

From afar, you can only sense how big they are.

But when you get close, you truly understand just how large they are!

"How tall are you? Two ters? Or two ters one?"

Chen Wen chatted with the moose as if they were friends.

But the moose didn’t respond; it wasn’t a special animal.

This left Chen Wen a bit disappointed.

Generally speaking, special animals have an initially high favorability towards Chen Wen, unless he actively diminishes it.

Sotis, it might just max out unexpectedly.

The male moose called out twice more, and the two female moose behind it slowly approached.

Female moose were smaller and lacked antlers.

Their heads looked rather ugly, like a donkey, or a big rat.

In short, quite abstract.

The two female moose also ca to eat the ice.

"Taste it, all of you, taste it. This is good stuff; you’ll eat it and want more!"

Chen Wen said, lifting the salt ice for the moose to lick easily.

Soon, the eyes of the two female moose changed.

They weren’t as rational as the male moose; they were already lost in the salt ice.

Chen Wen cautiously pulled back the salt ice a bit and noticed the female moose extending their heads closer, which delighted him.

Great, great, I was just worried about which target to choose, and you two ca!

It’ll be the female moose!

Although this creature is smaller than the male moose, it can still carry Hua Yun’s weight.

Plus, they don’t appear very cautious or smart.

Taming them as riding animals is entirely feasible!

Chen Wen’s eyes flicked, and he had a plan for taming the female moose.

Holding the salt ice, he began to retreat slowly, with the two female moose closely following.

Clearly, they were now captivated.

Nothing else occupied their minds but the salt ice.

The male moose, seeing this situation, was dumbfounded.

What is going on?

How co both of my wives are following a two-legged creature?

These are my wives!

Are you just going to take one and directly run off with two?

The male moose couldn’t sit still any longer.

It called loudly, bringing the two female moose back to their senses.

But Chen Wen didn’t get nervous because of the male moose.

He directly split the salt ice into two, throwing one half to the male moose and holding tightly the other half.

"Eat yours, why worry about so much?"

Chen Wen muttered, watching the male moose and the small moose lowering their heads and licking vigorously.

Of the two female moose that followed, one hesitated and turned to the male moose.

While the other female moose continued licking Chen Wen’s salt ice tirelessly.

"Great, great, it’s you!"

Chen Wen’s face instantly turned joyful.

He gently patted the moose’s body, smiling: "Following , you’ll have a good life, eating great food. With them, there’s nothing good for you!"

"Besides, a harmonious family of three is great; being a third wheel won’t bring you happiness!"

"Co with , I’ll lead you to the town, and let you go there. You can find a new perfect mate, and have little moose babies, how nice?"

Drawing a picture for the moose, Chen Wen led it toward the camp.

After creating so distance, Chen Wen quietly took out a dagger.

He suddenly stabbed it into the moose and quickly followed with the Animal Doctor’s blessing.

The moose shivered, montarily lifted its head, and was briefly alert.

Seeing no fellow moose around, it got a bit nervous.

But the two-legged creature standing before it seed different.

It felt this two-legged creature looked rather pleasing, and simply stopped overthinking.

Instead, it resud licking the salt ice.

Chen Wen, on his part, showed a proud smile.

For during the ti the moose lowered its head to lick the salt ice.

The system flashed four golden words at Chen Wen.

[Taming Successful]!
