The lynx, after sniffing the familiar stench, imdiately felt anger rising from its heart.
Chen Wen also caught a whiff of the stench.
Unlike the scent from the lynx and the golden eagle, this sll was more pungent and intense.
The lynx continued: "Human, I can sll more than one! At least two of them are around!"
"These guys are very nasty; they don't like hunting, they just prefer snatching others' food!"

In North Arica, even the gray wolves, creatures from the sa family as the honey badger, dare to attempt to snatch their food.
Their combat ability is not bad but not strong either, considered as mid-tier.
The reason why lynxes and gray wolves often have their food snatched by these guys is due to their thick skin.
Unless they are on the verge of starvation, lynxes and gray wolves will not risk their lives fighting wolverines.
Animals fear getting injured.
Rather than risking life and limb with such thick-skinned creatures, risking death.

Why did Chen Wen's light go out?
Hua Yun was worried for a mont, but then she cald down.
There's no way a wolverine could silently kill Chen Wen and the lynx; Chen Wen probably found the wolverine's tracks.

Hua Yun shifted positions, expanding her field of view.
On Chen Wen's side.
Under the cover of [Night Shadow], he and the lynx began searching for the wolverines' location.

With one bite, it clamped onto the wolverine's body, though only biting its shoulder and not a vital area.
The wounded wolverine imdiately scread.
Its cries resembled those of a dog.
But soon, it could no longer make any sound.
Because Chen Wen, wielding an axe, had also reached the battlefield.
