Chen Wen headed back to the production team for recording.

Upon hearing this, Chen Wen frowned.

"And the timing? You know I need to prepare for wilderness solitude."
Chen Wen asked, "Starting from July next year, I won’t participate in other wilderness survival projects."
"July... perfect! The place I’m planning to go is in the Southern Hemisphere. We’ll go at the end of sumr, around March."
Abel was thrilled, "It seems like we’re really destined to work together!"
Chen Wen chuckled, "Hopefully, yes. We do have phones, right? I’ll think about it after I get back and let you know."

Belmont was listening with a frown to the report from Jiao and Dio.

Dio didn’t dare to speak.
Belmont continued, "Nine tis out of ten, those two sentries saw the map in the captain’s hand, got greedy, killed the captain, and stole the map."
"Then the two concocted such a story to divert attention, just like those four guards fabricated the story about the demon’s arrival!"
The four rcenaries guarding Chen Wen were still alive.
They were questioned separately by Dio about the so-called demon arrival.

He sighed and said, "The so-called demon, the winged bear, are just little tricks by these rcenaries to get to the treasure or avoid punishnt."
"In such environnts and situations, it’s too easy for rcenaries to create so paranormal events. A single lie from them can vividly bring a paranormal event to life, with no reference value at all."
"Are there any other traces at the scene? Find so forensic experts from the police to take a look, maybe they can find more clues."
Hearing this, Dio wiped the sweat from his nose and said, "No, sir, it was still snowing at the ti, and many traces were covered."
Belmont let out a long breath, his eyes sowhat disappointed, "Ah, maybe I really am not fated with these treasures. You all keep working on it; I’ll think of other ways, off you go."
Dio and Jiao slightly bowed, quickly leaving.

While going upstairs, he happened to run into Dio and Jiao in the elevator lobby.

"Are you two heading up?"
Chen Wen said warmly, pressing the button for the floor his room was on.
Jiao, sowhat familiar with Chen Wen, shook his head and said, "Your tasks are over, but we still have plenty to do."
Saying this, Jiao seed to recall sothing: "Your Hua Country people seem to believe in ghosts and spirits. Do you think a winged bear really exists?"
Chen Wen was taken aback, not expecting Jiao to ask this.
He thought for a mont and honestly replied, "I think it’s impossible. Take my Golden Eagle, for example; it weighs a bit over four kilograms, but its wingspan is nearly two ters. A large gray bear’s wingspan would need to be imnse to lift it."
"Even if it had a wingspan capable of lifting it, how would it avoid wind damage to its eyes during flight? You know, most mammals don’t have nictitating mbranes; their eyes can’t withstand wind damage during flight."
"And if such a bear really existed, why wouldn’t it steal food instead of a map?"
Chen Wen’s counter-question left Jiao with an epiphany.
"So you’re saying, a winged bear doesn’t exist at all?"
"Absolutely not! If it really existed, the entire biological sciences would need to be overhauled."
Chen Wen’s gaze was as determined as soone pledging allegiance to a party.
Jiao nodded, "Maybe you’re right. Like Mr. Belmont, he doesn’t believe in the so-called winged bear either."
Chen Wen laughed, "Great minds think alike; the lower the education level, the more they believe in such nonsense."
Upon hearing this, Dio’s face turned sour.
Damn, who’s he calling uneducated?
Chen Wen smiled and said, "I didn’t an anything offensive, just wanted to tell Mr. Jiao that if you’re looking for the map, you could follow the direction those rcenaries retreated in. In this weather, they’d move slowly, leaving lots of traces in the snow."
Hearing this, Dio interrupted, "We found those rcenaries, but there’s not much trace left."
Found them? That fast?
Chen Wen was a bit taken aback, pretending to be puzzled, "If you found them, why are you still asking this? Shouldn’t the map be with those rcenaries who left?"
Dio shook his head, "Not a trace of the map, not even the gold."
"That’s unfortunate; take care."
Chen Wen showed a sympathetic expression.
As the elevator was about to reach Chen Wen’s floor, Jiao wrapped up the conversation: "Thanks for your response, Mr. Chen. Now we know where to focus our efforts next."
Chen Wen nodded, "Good luck."
The elevator bell chid lightly, and Chen Wen cheerfully stepped out, "Goodbye, gentlen."
"Goodbye!"
