The marriage between a rich young master and a common woman happens occasionally, but these rare instances often end in divorce.
Their once highly publicized romance lasted two or three years before the fairy tale was defeated by reality.
Scarlett Yates still rembers a few years ago, a woman who had married into a wealthy family spoke during a post-divorce interview.
She said, "I thought love could conquer everything, but there are so things that will never be overco. It’s branded on you like a hot iron from the mont you were born, constantly reminding you that you are different from those people. Even if they don’t mind your scars, you cannot ignore them. No matter how beautiful the love is, it can’t surpass the cruelty of reality."
The woman who said this initially had a passionate romance, and the wealthy young master even gave up everything to elope with her.
At the ti, everyone was moved by their love and thought they would be together for a long ti.
There was even a screenwriter who created a script based on their story and turned it into a film.
But within just three years, the fairy tale turned into foam on the sea.
Scarlett still rembers the na of that drama, "Love Will Conquer All."
Can a love that isn’t matched in social standing really last?
At this mont, Scarlett felt a bit confused and lacked confidence.
"What’s wrong?" Matthew Saxon sensed her mood suddenly turning low, stopped walking, and turned around to look at her curiously.
"It’s nothing, weren’t we going to watch a movie? Let’s hurry up."
"Are you really okay?" Matthew furrowed his brow, lifted her small face to take a good look, "You look troubled, you were fine earlier, but since finishing dinner you’ve seed off."
Scarlett forced a smile from her lips, "Really, it’s nothing. I just suddenly thought of Stella and Hayes Simmons and felt a bit sorry for them."
Stella Nelson has always been a very rational woman, knowing what should and shouldn’t be done.
With her personality, she would never fall in love with soone like Hayes Simmons, the gap is too big, it was dood from the start not to work out.
But what does being rational matter?
No one can control their heart, just like how she initially believed she would never love Matthew Saxon, yet the more she resisted, the deeper she fell.
"Are you still stuck on this matter, do you want them to be together?"
Scarlett thought about it, then softly said, "Initially, yes. But after hearing what you said, I think it might be better for them not to be together."
Matthew Saxon ruffled her hair, softly saying, "Scarlett, I know you two have a good relationship, but when it cos to matters of the heart, it’s best not to ddle too much. She seems much smarter than you when it cos to making the right choices."
Scarlett agreed with this.
Unlike her, Stella Nelson is not overly emotional. Even if she fell in love with Hayes Simmons, she wouldn’t lose her head.
This is evident from her decision not to tell Hayes Simmons about her pregnancy.
Though she loves Hayes Simmons, she’s firmly decided to leave him.
"Let’s go, I just checked, the earliest movie is in an hour, and it’s only a short walk to Oceanic Plaza from here."
Oceanic Plaza is just across the street, abundant in first and second-tier cities in the country, and belongs to Seymour’s holdings. The cinema inside is also Seymour’s property.
