Upon arriving outside Darknight City, just as he got off the car, soone approached him eagerly to greet him.

Ward chuckled, flatteringly saying, "Of course, if anyone dares to offend you, our Darknight City wouldn’t survive. With a casual word from you, you could wipe us all out, and chopping soone up and feeding them to the dogs would be considered mild."
Once inside the hall, it beca rowdy, with music, laughter, and screams mixed together, causing people to feel unsettled.
The hall was full of n and won dancing, releasing the pressure accumulated during the day wantonly at night.
Most of the faces on the dance floor wore vacant, bewildered expressions, the dazzling colorful lights shining on their pale faces, resembling ghosts.
Soone had overturned a wine bottle, the strong sll of alcohol floating in the air, mixed with so unpleasant odors, making the air thick and suffocating.
Scarlett Yates frowned; her first impression of this place was not good.
In the corridor, people ca and went.
Matthew Saxon gripped Scarlett Yates’s hand tightly, pulling her half-body to lean against him.
Ward led the two inside, passing through a long corridor, and took the elevator to the fifth floor. After exiting the elevator, the surroundings were completely different from downstairs.
The hall was unbearably noisy, but the floor Ward brought them to was extrely quiet.
