Allan nodded along, also a master at lying, saying without batting an eye, "You hit the ball so quickly, we were all taken aback. We didn’t expect you to be this incredible."
With everyone praising her repeatedly, Scarlett regained her confidence, genuinely believing she was impressive. She boasted that once she learned for another two months, she’d challenge Vincent and the others to a match.
Vincent quickly laughed cheerfully and said, "When the ti cos, sister-in-law should show us so rcy, don’t make us lose too badly."
During the break, soone brought over tea and snacks. Matthew Saxon and Vincent Reed chatted about so company matters, which Scarlett couldn’t really join, so she quietly sat by to eat and drink.

Taking advantage of Scarlett’s stunned mont, the person behind her dragged her into a nearby private room.
With a click, the door was shut, followed by another click, locking the door from inside.
A click of the light switch; the person who pulled her into the room turned on the lamp.
The room’s lighting was dim, casting an ambiguous hue on the man’s face before her, slowly sketching out his cold and handso features.
