Matthew Saxon let out a low chuckle. As the elevator arrived, he wrapped an arm around her and led her inside. Just as the doors were about to close, he lowered his head to whisper sothing in her ear.
The words made Scarlett Yates’s face instantly turn crimson.
In a husky, deep, and magnetic voice, he spoke into her ear: "Don’t worry, I promise our wedding night will be normal. Ropes, whips, candles, handcuffs—none of those props will be used on you. And while the idea of seven tis in one night is a bit exaggerated, four or five tis is still doable. If we perform exceptionally, seven isn’t impossible either."

As they stepped out of the elevator, Scarlett’s face was still red.
Once they were out of Darknight City, the cold wind hitting her face dispersed so of the heat from her cheeks.
Sotis Scarlett really disdained herself.
At first, she was the one questioning his bad habits, and in the end, it was his casual words that made her blush and her heart race, lingering on until now.
As soon as Matthew finished that sentence, she turned into a turtle shrinking into its shell, keeping her head down, her face still burning hot.
The valet brought around Matthew’s car.
Matthew took the car keys, turned, and saw Scarlett’s face was still flushed, rosy over white, like a ripe apple, tempting anyone to take a bite.
It seed like, since they had known each other, her tendency to blush easily hadn’t changed much. Just a few casual words could bring a rosy hue to her cheeks.
This was why he loved to tease her so often.
He only had to say a few words now, and she would already be this shy. What would she be like when it ca to that wedding night?
As he thought, Matthew felt his throat tighten, longing for the wedding day to be tomorrow.
His self-control seed to wane more and more in front of her.
The desire to possess her grew increasingly strong.
His gaze was too intense, fixated on Scarlett without blinking.
Scarlett noticed this intense gaze. She raised her head, her dark eyes eting his, startled, her gaze flickering twice. Although she wanted to look away in panic, fearing he might joke, she forced herself to remain calm and continue eting his gaze.
"What are you looking at?"
Matthew smiled, "Looking at you."
As he spoke, he deliberately leaned in to look at her more closely.
"Scarlett, I’ve discovered a serious problem." His eyes narrowed slightly, speaking earnestly.
Seeing him not kidding, Scarlett blinked curiously, "What problem?"
A hint of playful malice flashed in Matthew’s eyes as he cast a glance at a certain spot on her body, a roguish smile appearing at the corners of his lips, "I didn’t expect it to be so cold, yet there are mosquitoes in the room, and it’s a lustful mosquito no less."
After speaking, his mischievous gaze landed on her chest again, curling his lips, "This mosquito dared to touch my woman. When we get back, I’ll definitely catch it and tear it to pieces."
He was joking, and after saying this, he straightened up, guiding Scarlett into the car.
In the mont he turned, Matthew didn’t notice Scarlett’s face suddenly turn pale, nor did he see the flash of panic and unease in her eyes.
But he still sensed sothing was off.
The hand that had ward under his touch imdiately turned cold again.
After getting in the car, as he went to help her buckle the seatbelt like he usually did, Matthew once again noticed sothing was wrong with Scarlett.
