After listening to Olly, Scarlett Yates showed a look of understanding.

Downstairs, she saw Ian Douglas lounging lazily in the hall on the sofa, slightly squinting his cunning fox-like eyes, reading a newspaper.
Freshly brewed tea was on the coffee table, and a maid he brought was standing by.
