Her forehead was glistening with beads of sweat, and delicate droplets dotted her pale cheeks. The water shimred on her rosy complexion, her face resembling a fruit touched with morning dew.
Matthew Saxon’s eyes narrowed slightly, igniting two flickering sparks in the depths of his shadowy gaze.
"Scarlett Yates, are you tempting wrongdoing?" Matthew’s hoarse voice carried a hint of helpless laughter, forcing himself to suppress the wicked desire brewing inside, using a handkerchief to wipe her sweat.
Even in her dreams, Scarlett seed to relish his attention, lifting her chin to make it easier for him to wipe her face—and then her neck as well.

"Young Master, where to next?" The car cruised at a slow, steady pace, and as they approached a corner, George asked.
Almost forgot, there was still a need to head to the office that afternoon.
Matthew reluctantly tore his gaze from Scarlett’s rosy little face, pondering slightly. His deep voice carried a hint of huskiness. Not wanting to wake the woman in his arms, he kept his voice low: "Any plans for the afternoon?"
"In an hour and a half, there’s an important eting that Young Master must attend."
Matthew contemplated for a few seconds, glancing down slightly, only to see Scarlett sleeping soundly in his embrace.
"Take a leisurely drive around the company area, head to the office half an hour before the eting."
George imdiately grasped his intention, responding affirmatively, guiding the car onto a ginkgo-lined avenue, slowing its pace even further.
The street was spacious, flanked by ginkgo trees, whose leaves had all turned yellow, shimring gold, like a tree adorned with golden leaves.
A thick layer of ginkgo leaves covered the ground, which the cleaners had not swept away, allowing them to accumulate into a beautiful scene.
This was considered one of Z City’s famous spots, attracting countless visitors when the ginkgo leaves turned yellow.
Artists sketching, people taking wedding photos, photographers, and many others stood along the sidewalks.
As Matthew’s car passed by, soone shouted outside: "Wow, it’s a Lamborghini, so beautiful! Quick, let’s snap a few shots."
The car drove slowly, moving along the leaf-covered street, almost everyone captured shots of it.
