Matthew Saxon fell silent for a few seconds and didn’t say whether he would go or not, only saying lightly: "You can go out now."
Given Alice Green’s understanding of him, this ant he agreed to her request.
She couldn’t help feeling a bit smug; see, she really did understand him well, didn’t she?
No matter how indifferent he seed to Roy Saxon before, it was only superficial. She knew he couldn’t really not care about Roy Saxon’s life or death.
As long as he still cared about Roy Saxon, it ant she had a favorable bargaining chip.
This bargaining chip could be exchanged for many things for her.

Matthew Saxon looked at Scarlett Yates, and Scarlett looked back at him.
He hadn’t spoken yet, but his eyes already held a trace of apology. His sensuous thin lips moved slightly, and he spoke in a low voice, "Scarlett, I..."
