"Matthew Saxon, what evidence exactly do you want to show ?" Scarlett Yates followed him silently for a few steps and then stopped, refusing to go any further.
What evidence did he have to show her that required them to co to such a residential building?
Having previously been carried off to the Seasons Hotel by him, Scarlett couldn’t help but overthink.
"I’m not going to eat you." Matthew also stopped, turned around, his thin lips curled, and his narrow eyes squinted sarcastically, "If I truly wanted a woman, I wouldn’t need to force anyone."
What he said was the truth, but Scarlett felt a little annoyed hearing it.

Before she could speak, he raised an eyebrow further and laughed more wickedly, looking at Scarlett with a hint of brazenness, "It seems you haven’t looked at your face in the mirror recently, Scarlett Yates. With such a bitter face like yours, believe , you can’t stir even a slight interest in ."
Seeing this playful deanor, Scarlett was montarily stunned.
It had been a long ti since she had seen this side of Matthew Saxon.
Wicked, frivolous, flirtatious, laughing like a mischievous street punk.
The shift in his expression was too quick.
Downstairs, he had kept a stern face, as if she owed him a fortune, with annoyance clearly written all over his face.
During their ti in the elevator, the cold aura he emitted made Scarlett sneeze several tis.
But now, in the blink of an eye, this once stern-faced, expressionless man was now laughing playfully with her.
Although the smile wasn’t much better, it didn’t make her think his mood improved, but seeing him fool around was better than him being cold as ice.
Matthew’s playful teasing eased much of her anxiety.
"Likewise, you can’t stir even a slight interest in either." Scarlett glared at him, retaliating without backing down.
"That’s just perfect."
Matthew pushed open the door, smirking, "Since we’re both not interested, neither of us has to worry about losing control and making a move on the other."
He walked in first, changed into slippers, and pulled out a pair of won’s slippers from the shoe cabinet.
Seeing the pink slippers in his hand, Scarlett couldn’t help but feel a pang of jealousy.
It was obvious this apartnt was one of his residences in A City.
He took out won’s slippers from his residence, indicating won frequently visited here.
He even brought won back to stay here, yet he kept insisting he had an explanation for her. Doesn’t he find his actions laughable?
