Maxwell Saxon bent down, lowered his head, and throughout the process of Scarlett Yates helping him tie the tie, he kept watching her.
Scarlett Yates tied that cheap red tie around his neck.

Once the tie was done, Scarlett Yates pretended not to notice Maxwell Saxon’s gaze on her, stepped back a bit, and pointed to the mirror saying, "It’s done, take a look yourself."

He rely ca up with a random excuse, wanting Scarlett Yates to spend more ti with him.
He chose this tie himself, so even if it didn’t look good, he still liked it.
He turned around, took a quick glance at the mirror, curled his lips, and said with a pleased smile, "You chose well, I like it very much."
When he looked at her, his gaze was very gentle.
The cold, dark eyes revealed a warmth that only surfaced when facing her.
In front of her, he never hid his emotions, embedding all his fondness for her into his gaze.
When it was ti to pay, Maxwell Saxon took out his wallet, flipped through it twice, then put it back.
He turned to Scarlett Yates and said, "Scarlett, I didn’t bring much cash, can you help pay?"
The tie wasn’t expensive, and Henry Dales had given her enough cash to cover it. Scarlett Yates didn’t think much of it, believing he truly didn’t have any cash on him, nodded and said, "Since it’s your birthday, let this tie be my birthday gift to you. Of course, if you think this gift is too cheap, I..."
Before Scarlett Yates could finish her sentence, Maxwell Saxon hurriedly said, "I really like it, Scarlett, thank you. This is the best gift I’ve received."
Maxwell Saxon had been waiting for her to say just that.
How could his wallet really not have any cash? He simply lied to make her buy it for him.
He chose this n’s clothing store because he knew the items here weren’t expensive, within a range she could afford.
Maxwell Saxon received many precious gifts.
Ever since he joined the Saxon Family and beca their Young Master, every birthday, there were countless people gifting him, each one pricier than the last.
Luxury hos, fancy cars, antique jadeware, renowned paintings and calligraphy — each gift was a thousand tis more valuable than this tie.
Up to this mont, this cheap red tie happened to be his favorite.
People might not believe it, but even for such an inexpensive tie, he ticulously sched to acquire it.

After cutting the tag off the tie, Maxwell Saxon put it on and headed out directly.
To go to the snow mountain, one needs to take the bus there.
Maxwell Saxon asked soone for directions, then hailed a cab to the bus station.
When he arrived at the station, it was unexpectedly crowded, with long queues at each ticketing window.
"Scarlett, why don’t you sit in the café next door for a while? I’ll find you after I buy the tickets."
Maxwell Saxon estimated the ti he’d have to wait in line, about half an hour, the hall was crowded, not to ntion stuffy — it was better for him to queue alone, no need for Scarlett Yates to wait with him.
