He turned his head to look out the window, keeping the sa posture without moving, as if he was deep in thought.

Throughout the journey, Maxwell Saxon kept looking out the window, his cold and handso profile shrouded in gloom, appearing deeply troubled.
When the car finally stopped, Scarlett Yates spoke to bid him farewell, only then did he slowly turn his head.
In his jet-black eyes, there was a complex emotion Scarlett Yates couldn’t decipher. He gazed at her for a mont before softly saying, "Take good care of yourself. Having you with today made very happy, and I will always rember this day."
Scarlett Yates heard a hint of finality and lancholy in his hoarse voice, understanding that she should say sothing comforting, but in the end, she only nodded and said nothing.
Maxwell Saxon continued, "I apologize once again on behalf of my mother and Uncle Thompson. I know apologies don’t help or change anything, but I still wanted to say I’m sorry to you."
Scarlett Yates was silent for a few seconds before shaking her head and smiling, "Although I can’t forgive what they did, I know they did it for you. You also take good care of yourself. I’m leaving."
Maxwell Saxon gazed at her deeply, with a hint of reluctance in his eyes, and nodded.
He watched as she got out of the car, then watched her enter the community, until her figure completely disappeared from sight, only then did he instruct the driver to head to the airport.

The sky was dark and heavy, the snow that had been falling all day had finally stopped, but the roads were piled high with thick layers of snow.
