Seeing Scarlett Yates shiver from the cold, George felt a bit heartbroken. He took off his coat and walked toward her.
"Miss Yates, you... you should wear my coat," George said with a slight blush on his face.

Though he was very fit from years of exercise, looking like soone who could withstand the cold, the sudden change from warm to cold could easily cause illness.
Scarlett Yates intended to return the coat. Before she could pull it off, George frowned and stopped her, "Miss Yates, if you don’t want to get sick again, wear it. Are you refusing because you think the coat slls bad?"
George knew that if he said this, Scarlett Yates would no longer refuse him.
