With Countless Qualities Bestowed Upon Me, I Shall Ultimately Become Immortal Chapter 580 - 532: Breaking Predestination, Divine Ordinatio
Bai Bao nodded, "Your comprehension is good."
"Abbot Xuanmou, vested with the innate Buddha fruit, his Buddhist teachings and martial arts cultivate the heavens; he is the physical Buddha of the present world.
The one he prophesies as the future representative shall be the one who can inherit his Buddha fruit.
If you are appointed, then you are the future representative."
He showed a troubled expression:
"...This seems overly idealistic; what if the Abbot shows favoritism..."
"When the Abbot’s heart moves, the wind and flag will move."
Then, in deep thought, he asked with gritted teeth:
"If I achieve the Buddha fruit underneath the Longhua Tree without the Abbot’s appointnt,
I dare ask, Master, what should be done then?"
At ng Chuan’s presumptuous words, not only did Bai Bao not bla him, but admired him even more.
ng Chuan’s remark was about his own agency.
If I can make all the wind flags move, then what?"
Bai Bao took a sip of tea, still warm at this ti.
"I will explain to you through the Heart Sutra I just recited, make sure to rember."
ng Chuan’s face beca stern, listening attentively.
It concerns another supre characteristic: the [Buddha Heart]; listen earnestly.
"Without the Buddha’s appointnt, if one spontaneously attains the Buddha fruit under the Longhua Tree,
this act might be considered as contradicting the understanding of [emptiness] in the Heart Sutra, as being trapped in a delusional attachnt, forever unable to achieve true liberation.
But I believe this is precisely wrong. Emptiness ans [non-attachnt] to all things; those who think otherwise are truly contradicting emptiness."
ng Chuan seed to understand, yet not completely:
"Are you saying my act of spontaneously acquiring the fruit is correct?"
Bai Bao waved his hand:
"Listen first, why are you in such a hurry? The Heart Sutra says: All phenona possess no inherent nature, they neither arise nor perish.
In the orthodox teachings understood by the world, the present Buddha prophesizing the future Buddha is the order of [current Buddha delivering prophecy]; its essence is to guide sentient beings to understand [causality is not false], not to be restrained by the shackles of [achieving fruit].
If you can spontaneously connect with the Longhua Tree, it proves you have broken the attachnt of [reliance on prophecy]."
"Break the rules and observe with the true heart?"
Bai Bao nodded:
"Indeed."
"What is ant by attachnt to forms?"
"Longhua Tree, obtaining fruit under the tree, the two oppositions united is the attachnt to forms.
Do not cling to [the manifestation of Longhua Tree as a rare phenonon] and [the Buddha’s appointnt as the only path].
Only observe with your true heart, subjectively believe [sentient beings need crossing, Buddhist teachings need continuation], and that breaks the strong demand of [formal reliance on prophecy]."
ng Chuan achieved enlightennt.
He closed his eyes for a mont, then reopened them, full of energy.
What Master Bai Bao said, in everyday terms, is self-confidence is the summit!
"Able to achieve the fruit, I am the [future].
[Now] seeing must also acknowledge .
If he follows [reliance on prophecy], it ans currently prophesying to .
If not followed, then I observe with my true heart and break the prophecy norm."
What does that an?
Stand at present, change the future!
ng Chuan thought energetically, eager to rush ahead and seize the fruit...
Seeing his unruly deanor, Bai Bao chided:
"Forgot again? All conditioned phenona, like dreams or illusions, like...
Without enough Buddhist rationale, seeing is rely seeing, obtaining is rely obtaining."
Instantly reining in his emotions, ng Chuan sat upright.
Seeing the little monk also eager to inquire, he seized the ti to ask:
"Master, if I achieve the future fruit, is it also like a dream or illusion?"
Bai Bao clapped his hands with a laugh:
"The initiative lies with you, it’s also heart movent, also...a eting of fate."
ng Chuan pondered thoughtfully, then inquired further:
"Does Mingtai Great Saint’s [Buddha Heart] characteristic relate to the future fruit?"
Bai Bao was embarrassed, this kid hasn’t picked the fruit yet and he is thinking about aftermath...
He naturally knew what he was thinking.
It’s the [uniqueness] of the fruit.
ng Chuan, in essence, was asking: If he picks the future fruit, would it affect the current fruit holder, Abbot Xuanmou?
Bai Bao replied with a smile:
"You’re thinking too much, the Abbot reaching the physical Buddha realm was not due to embracing practice, but the karma of practicing."
"Master Bai Bao, what is ant by embracing...karma practice?"
"It’s simple, [embracing] is what I just ntioned, the road to becoming a Buddha relying on prophecy, designating uniqueness.
[Karma], the Abbot becos a Buddha relying on his own internal motivation, attracting future karmic payback, verified in reality.
No matter how strong the [Buddha Heart], it depends on the person. This characteristic didn’t make the Abbot famous, it was the Abbot who made the Buddha Heart renowned."
"I understand..."
ng Chuan’s eyes lit up, what Master Bai Bao said was actually simple.
The Abbot in his youth was like him.
Observing with the true heart, breaking the prophecy!
That puts him at ease, they walk the sa path, bros...
He craned his neck, nearly breaching the desk, and asked again:
"Master Bai Bao, is the lack of a Demon Nest on Shaoshi Mountain an application of the Buddha Heart characteristic?
Due to the Great Saint Abbot’s Buddha light illuminating... subduing the new birth of the Demon Nest?"
After contemplating, he scratched his head, and sowhat embarrassedly said:
"Master Bai Bao, if I picked the Buddha Fruit and returned to Yong’an, could it bring peace to my holand..."
To let Yong’an truly beco "eternally peaceful," free from demon calamity, is a promise to his hotown.
The tragedy of Tong Family Lane feels like just yesterday.
Bai Bao rubbed his shiny bald head, laughing with great contentnt:
"You haven’t achieved the martial arts mansion yet, but already thinking of sheltering the world?"
Imdiately, Bai Bao’s voice transford into a thin thread, transmitted to his ear, leaving the little monk with so puzzlent:
"What are you saying... Why won’t you let listen..."
anwhile, a voice echoed by his ear:
"Whether it’s related to the heart of the Buddha, only Abbot can explain it clearly, but I know it’s not that simple.
The fundantal reason for Shaoshi Mountain’s lack of a demon nest is certainly related to the Buddha."
ng Chuan’s heart and spirit were shaken, trying to emulate what Master Bai Bao did.
The voice was like gentle flowing water, not allowing the little monk beside him to hear...
"What Master Bai Bao spoke of, is it the domain of the Buddha? Can it cover the entire Shaoshi Mountain?"
"Indeed, the vastness of the Buddha’s realm is beyond words to perceive.
When the external celestial demons first appeared, intending to tarnish the sacred land of the Buddhist sect, it was naturally the ancient sages with supre Buddhist teachings and heavenly wisdom who intertwined with the Buddha realm and set up the ’Six Desires Grand Formation’ to isolate the celestial demon invasion."
ng Chuan glanced overhead, his expression stern, then drank a cup of tea in full.
He punished himself with a cup for the act of practicing fist intent that day, showing a "green dot on the horizon"...
It requires such imnse incense faith, unimaginable...
Truly worthy of being Great Chu’s number one faith, it’s quite intense...
Then, he understood the reason within.
It’s the concentrated fortune of martial arts and the height of incense faith.
Whether you belong to Shaolin, or Huayan, Esoteric Sect, Suspended Five Platforms, and so on.
All must revere Shakyamuni Buddha as the highest respect.
The ordinary believers in the Buddhist sect are likewise.
If all Taoist sects have True Martial Emperor as the main respect,
on the day you seek thunder at the mountain top, you might truly be struck into a charred wood...
This shows that Shaoshi Mountain is indeed a treasure land.
I don’t know when I could find so immortals and Buddhas, and collaborate to set up sothing for Yong’an...
Now it’s a vain fantasy, but once I achieve martial arts greatness, it might be possible...
As he reminisced about scattered appearances, Bai Bao indicated if ng Chuan wanted to know anything more.
He thought for a mont then bowed in gratitude:
"I’ve disturbed Master Bai Bao quite a bit today, there’s nothing more I need to ask."
"Amitabha—"
ng Chuan bowed and took his seat again without speaking.
Jue Ming, the little monk, still had questions, so the ti was given to him...
...
Far in Jin Land, deep in Taihang Mountain.
From the depths of the perpetual demon mist ca a whispering echo.
An entity as massive as a mountain, adorned with a crown of riches, holding a magnificent pearl umbrella.
Even when the umbrella was closed, the red reflections of willows and greens could still be seen.
The entire umbrella surface was knit with pearls, those with keen eyes naturally understood what it was.
Mixed Elent Pearl Umbrella, held by Immortals and Buddhas, Northern King of Hearing!
Why the vast myriad of Immortals and Buddhas appeared within this demon nest, the answer was obvious.
Demonic contamination.
Wearing the guise of King of Hearing, actually a great demon donned in the skin of the King of Hearing...
It slowly walked into the depths of dense mist, the demonic thought sensed that towering shadow, kneeling and spoke:
"Divine Master, at the southeastern position, sensed the descent of kin."
"Oh?"
Knowing Divine Master was recently busy with the impending ’mortal chaos’ and had not noticed.
"Hearing" hurriedly explained:
"Divine Master, this young nephew in my kin is still young, unfit for marching on your behalf.
But they descended close to the mortal-ntioned Shaoshi Mountain, could they be preserved to serve as an eye line?"
The might of Shaolin is deeply rooted in the celestial demons’ hearts too.
"Hearing" got this disguise from there naturally understanding the strong resistance within this mountain range.
The dense mist was silent for a mont, then a voice reached its ear:
"You wish to procure a superb guise for your kin, yes?"
"Hearing" pressed its head to the ground, responding with silence.
"So be it, leave a spare vassal."
"Thank you, Divine Master!"
With that, it saw a ripple of inky waves coming from the depths of the mist, slowly swirling around its body.
The pearl umbrella in its hand also transford into a handful of flowing sand experiencing so odd change along with the ripples.
Monts later, with a ’swoosh’, a round black orb was extracted from its body.
It gazed upon the orb transforming gradually...
The second form of King of Hearing grew, perfectly shaped.
Its expression was clear, this was Divine Master’s divine task within the realm—transfiguration.
Creating extraordinary life from ordinary beings;
Infusing vitality into the world’s creatures.
He is the greatest mountain in Godrealm!
By the Mountain Range Divine Master’s transfiguration, the pearl umbrella forged from incense was made into his avatar.
The demonic thought revolved, this newly created body followed, moving as if controlled.
"I will send the guise along with it, hide it in your kin’s domain awaiting order."
"Understood."
"Hearing" did not question how Divine Master could send a living being out of the demon nest without being noticed by the human ’watchdog’ outside.
Upon command, it turned and departed.
"The might of Divine Master is boundless, probably already beyond the boundaries of lower realm rules..."
Then why not leave?
Perhaps also awaiting, the gathering of so-called human powerhouse, just fitting...
To catch them all in one fell swoop!
This star system is the most resistant force here indeed.
If Divine Master could massacre all powerhouses here, it would achieve great rit.
Heavenly True God there would certainly grant imnse benefits.
To Divine Master, and so may trickle down through his fingers...
To bestow upon himself, could there be a chance for divine ranks, adding on as a divine officer?
The opportunity for divinity is right before us...
