Qin Wuyan stared ahead at the group from Tianyin Temple and Burning Incense Valley, letting out a sinister cackle. “Didn’t expect to bump into disciples of the righteous path here... what a heaven-sent opportunity!”

Beside him, Ancestor Duanmu and the Bloodsucking Old Demon both revealed glints of excitent in their eyes.

In their previous clash with the Qingyun Sect’s genius disciples, they had been suppressed at every turn and even seriously injured by a mysterious expert. Though their injuries had healed, the resentnt remained unresolved. Now, encountering disciples of two righteous sects here on Kong Sang Mountain was like a starving wolf seeing prey.

The Bloodsucking Old Demon licked his cracked lips with his scarlet tongue, his greedy gaze fixed on the quarry.

Sensing the oppressive aura exuding from Ancestor Duanmu and the Bloodsucking Old Demon, Fa Xiang’s expression changed dramatically. Stepping forward, he shouted sternly, “What demonic sect scum dares to act so wantonly here?!”

Qin Wuyan’s eyes flashed with mockery as he tilted his chin toward his two companions. “Elders, won’t you introduce yourselves?”

Ancestor Duanmu’s interest was piqued. He stepped forward, black mist swirling around him, and his voice was hoarse as a night owl’s: “I am a Grand Elder of the Ten Thousand Poison Sect—Ancestor Duanmu!”

Before his words finished echoing, the Bloodsucking Old Demon had already erupted with his full aura, a stench-laced gale howling as he lunged forward with a shriek: “The Bloodsucking Old Demon is here! Prepare to die, brats!”

Finally, Qin Wuyan stepped forward at a slow pace, his sinister gaze sweeping over them. “Qin Wuyan, personal disciple of the Ten Thousand Poison Sect.”

As the three unleashed their pressure simultaneously, the faces of Fa Xiang and the others turned deathly pale.

If it were just one opponent, they might have relied on their sects’ secret arts to resist. But now, facing two experts in the Upper Purity Realm, plus the formidable Qin Wuyan, their chances of survival were slim.

“The Grand Elder and a personal disciple of the Ten Thousand Poison Sect?!” Fa Xiang’s pupils shrank. He murmured under his breath, “It seems this day holds more doom than fortune.”

Li Xun’s face turned ashen.

They had only co to Kong Sang Mountain to purge the remnants of the Blood Refining Hall—who would have thought they’d run into one of the Four Great Demonic Sects?

He quickly transmitted a ssage: Senior Brother Fa Xiang, the enemy is strong while we are weak—retreat at once!

Fa Xiang nodded and shouted, “Run!” The four instantly activated their artifacts and scattered into streams of light.

Watching their panicked retreat, Qin Wuyan sneered. “Petty tricks.”

“Young Lord, shall we pursue?” Ancestor Duanmu asked eagerly.

“You two go first. I’ll follow shortly.”

In the blink of an eye, Ancestor Duanmu and the Bloodsucking Old Demon darted forward like phantoms. Monts later, they cut off Fa Xiang and the others’ escape.

Surrounded, the four stood in the center, despairing as they faced two figures radiating terrifying auras. Even the mountain winds now felt bone-chilling.

This ti, they truly were trapped in a desperate situation.

Seeing they had been blocked, Fa Xiang’s expression turned grim. “There’s only one way out—fight to the death! Otherwise, none of us will leave this place alive!”

Li Xun’s face was pale, but he clenched his teeth and nodded. “Let’s go all out!”

In an instant, the four simultaneously activated their treasures.

Behind Fa Xiang, golden halos erged one after another. A spinning Buddhist swastika radiated dazzling light, while chanting echoed outward.

Though he was only at the Second Level of the Upper Purity Realm, with Tianyin Temple’s techniques empowering him, his aura resembled that of a wrathful Vajra Buddha.

Li Xun and Yan Hong summoned their Jade To of Burning Incense, their bodies enveloped in blinding red light. Waves of heat surged forth, showcasing the overbearing nature of Burning Incense Valley’s secret arts.

Watching the four unleash their power, Ancestor Duanmu remained outwardly calm, but inside, he was wary—worried they might be monsters from Qingyun Sect again.

But he soon shook his head. “How could those freaks from Qingyun Sect show up just anywhere?”

“These brats from Tianyin Temple and Burning Incense Valley—what storm can they possibly stir up?”

Seeing the situation, Fa Xiang urgently transmitted a ssage: I’ll hold off Ancestor Duanmu. You three focus on the Bloodsucking Old Demon. If you get a chance—run!

The three nodded. “Thank you, Senior Brother Fa Xiang!” Then they rushed straight at the Bloodsucking Old Demon.

Fa Xiang, on the other hand, faced off against Ancestor Duanmu alone.

Though injured and unable to fight at full strength, Ancestor Duanmu still held the advantage with his Fourth Level Upper Purity Realm cultivation.

As soon as they clashed, he summoned the Ten Thousand Souls Banner.

The black banner flapped wildly, releasing a surge of black mist. Countless grotesque spirits wailed within it, transforming into waves of sonic attacks toward Fa Xiang.

But Fa Xiang showed no fear.

Tianyin Temple’s Buddhist techniques were naturally effective against demonic thods. Forming a hand seal, he swiftly chanted and unleashed a giant swastika seal, cloaked in golden radiance, to et the onslaught.

Seeing the golden Buddhist seal fly forth, Ancestor Duanmu’s face changed.

He swung his weapon with full force, launching a pitch-black slash that tore through the air, carrying with it a guttural howl as it clashed with the golden seal.

BOOM!

A deafening explosion echoed. Golden light and darkness collided violently.

The void trembled, and shockwaves rippled outward like waves.

Fa Xiang’s expression shifted as he staggered back three steps, barely managing to dissipate the force of the impact.

After this probing exchange, Ancestor Duanmu felt a flash of delight. So, not every righteous sect disciple is as monstrous as those from Qingyun Sect!

He spoke coldly, “Well now, a bald donkey from Tianyin Temple! Na yourself. To reach such a realm at your age is quite impressive.”

Suppressing his shock, Fa Xiang pressed his palms together in a Buddhist salute. “I am Fa Xiang of Tianyin Temple, here to greet Senior.”

As one of the temple’s most cultivated prodigies, Fa Xiang was well-versed in the nas of major demonic sect figures—and naturally recognized this infamous man.

“So your na is Fa Xiang?” Ancestor Duanmu sneered. “The most outstanding disciple of this Tianyin Temple generation? If you die here today, those old bald donkeys back at your temple will be heartbroken for a long ti!”

Fa Xiang’s expression turned icy. “Ancestor Duanmu, though your strength is formidable, if you think taking my life will be easy—you’re gravely mistaken!”

Before his voice had even faded, dazzling golden light surged around him. The Buddhist protective secret art had already been activated.

Tianyin Temple’s techniques emphasized tempering the physical body. Among cultivators of the sa realm, Fa Xiang’s physical toughness was considered top-tier.

At this mont, he no longer chose to evade but instead charged directly toward Ancestor Duanmu, intending to use his indestructible body to entangle the enemy and buy ti for his companions.

Seeing this, Ancestor Duanmu let out a cold laugh. “Fa Xiang, you may be sowhat capable, but you’re still not one of those freaks from Qingyun Sect. Defeating ? What a ridiculous dream.”

As he spoke, his hands ford rapid seals, and the Ten Thousand Souls Banner shimred continuously.

In an instant, countless attacks imbued with sinister ghostly aura surged toward Fa Xiang like a tidal wave.

He was well aware of how physically resilient Tianyin Temple disciples were. Even with his overwhelming power, he avoided close combat and instead relied on spells to suppress from a distance.

Fa Xiang’s heart trembled. They’ve clashed with Qingyun Sect’s younger generation before?

But amidst the fierce battle, there was no ti to ponder.

His hands swiftly ford seals, sending forth Swastika Buddha Seals one after another to et the onslaught.

However, the gap in strength was not sothing that could be bridged so easily.

Pfft!

A black chain pierced through his defenses and slamd viciously into Fa Xiang’s body.

He was sent flying backward, spitting out a mouthful of blood. A massive wound tore open across his chest.

Black ghostly energy tried to pour into the injury, but the Buddhist power of the Great Brahma Prajna art resisted it fiercely. The wound sizzled with burning sound as the two forces clashed.

The mont Fa Xiang was wounded, the expressions of Fa Shan and the others—who were still battling the Bloodsucking Old Demon—changed drastically.

If Fa Xiang were to fall and Ancestor Duanmu joined the fray, they would stand no chance against being flanked by two such powerful enemies!

Doubt crept into their hearts. The Bloodsucking Old Demon, however, laughed wildly, his attacks growing even more frenzied.

Just as the group considered retreating, a dark figure erged behind them, completely cutting off their escape—Qin Wuyan had arrived.

Seeing this, Li Xun and the others despaired: Is this really where we die?

At that critical mont, a cold shout echoed from the sky: “Brazen demonic scum—how dare you commit evil!”

As the words fell, two figures streaked across the sky toward them.

Qi Hao and Lin Jingyu soared in atop their swords, their sword lights flashing like lightning as they headed straight for Qin Wuyan.

They knew they were not strong enough to face Ancestor Duanmu, that level of enemy was one only soone like Lu Xueqi could battle.

Seeing reinforcents from Qingyun Sect arrive, the severely injured Fa Xiang finally eased his tightly wound nerves.

But upon sensing their cultivation levels, he frowned once more. Even with the addition of these two, the situation remained perilous.

Suppressing his pain, Fa Xiang leapt back into the air and once again blocked Ancestor Duanmu’s path.

He knew all too well—he must not let this demonic elder support his ally. Otherwise, they would all be dood.

anwhile, the demonic cultivators also sensed the arrival of Qingyun Sect reinforcents and were initially shocked.

But after a mont of spiritual sensing and realizing it wasn’t Lu Xueqi or Zhang Xiaofan, both breathed a visible sigh of relief.
