Chapter 132: Annihilating Qi Hao and the System

When Lu Xueqi saw Qi Hao attempting to flee at this mont, she could not help but let out a cold laugh and said, “Trying to escape now—don’t you think it’s a bit too late?”

Imdiately afterward, Lu Xueqi flicked her right hand, and the Tianyao Divine Sword instantly manifested.

She then stepped into the void, gripped the sword with both hands, and boundless spiritual energy surged within her body as the Dao of Creation continuously manifested, pouring into the Tianyao Divine Sword.

In an instant, terrifying might spread across the heavens.

At that mont, the sowhat illusory world that originally existed here shattered instantly under Lu Xueqi’s sword.

Lu Xueqi reappeared above the Dead Spirit Abyss.

However, she paid no attention whatsoever to her surroundings. Her eyes were locked tightly onto Qi Hao, who was desperately fleeing toward the distance.

After completing her preparation, Lu Xueqi shouted angrily, “Slash!”

In an instant, a gigantic slash appeared above the void. This slash was incomparably terrifying—at the very mont it appeared, heaven and earth plunged into darkness, all light directly swallowed by this single strike.

The void solidified, causing Qi Hao—who had been fleeing outward nonstop—to freeze midair.

He was instantly imprisoned within the void.

At this mont, terror could not help but surface on Qi Hao’s face. He exerted all his strength, even at the cost of consuming his own origin, attempting to break free and escape from this place.

But before he could make any move, Lu Xueqi’s terrifying slash arrived in an instant, sweeping directly past Qi Hao’s body.

Qi Hao, who had been struggling continuously within the void, instantly turned into dust under this single sword strike.

Not even the System’s true body managed to escape.

Lu Xueqi’s sword split yin and yang, shattered the void, and directly annihilated Qi Hao together with the System’s true body.

The terrifying power imdiately cleaved toward the rciless Sea. With a thunderous boom, the entire sea was split in two, the surrounding seawater taking a long ti to heal and close again.

Seeing this, Lu Xueqi nodded in satisfaction.

Her figure flashed as she appeared at the spot where Qi Hao had previously been.

Qi Hao’s figure had vanished, leaving behind only a shattered ball of light suspended in the void.

A sense of doubt arose in Lu Xueqi’s heart. With a wave of her right hand, she drew the light ball into her palm, wrapped it in the Dao of Creation, and carefully examined it.

She discovered that this light ball posed no harm. Instead, it contained a peculiar power that seed to share certain similarities with the Dao of Creation she had comprehended, yet was also distinctly different.

Staring at the light ball for a long ti, a guess erged in her mind: “Could this be the Creation Law comprehended by that System?”

If that were truly the case, then once absorbed, her Dao of Creation would undergo a trendous increase.

However, the System was unfathomably strange. She did not dare to act rashly. Instead, she transford the Dao of Creation into chains, wrapping the light ball layer by layer before storing it inside her spatial ring.

She planned to wait until her strength increased further before attempting to absorb it, lest the System had left behind so hidden contingency.

After putting away the light ball, Lu Xueqi looked around, yet she saw no trace of Zhang Xiaofan, Lin Jingyu, or the others— even Fa Xiang had disappeared.

Filled with confusion, she imdiately released her spiritual sense to investigate. Very quickly, she discovered a massive cliff face within the Dead Spirit Sea, with a cave dwelling embedded in the rock wall.

She did not hesitate and flashed straight toward the cave.

Upon entering, she detected traces that soone had been there before and imdiately realized that this was very likely the Dripping Blood Cave beneath the Dead Spirit Abyss.

She stepped forward into the depths of the cave, her sole objective being to find the Heavenly Book.

However, when she finally reached the Dripping Blood Cave and saw the stone wall where the first volu of the Heavenly Book had once been, she froze.

The stone wall was now pitted and uneven—the Heavenly Book originally engraved upon it had long since been scraped away.

Fury instantly surged in Lu Xueqi’s heart. “Which damned bastard did this? Was it Lin Jingyu or Zhang Xiaofan? Outrageous!”

Her primary purpose in coming to Kong Sang Mountain this ti had been to seek the first volu of the Heavenly Book. Yet now, because of her entanglent with the System, by the ti she returned, the Heavenly Book had already been destroyed.

She secretly resolved that once she left this place, she would definitely seek out Zhang Xiaofan and Lin Jingyu to demand an explanation—how could they keep such a good thing all to themselves?

At this very mont, Zhang Xiaofan and Lin Jingyu, who had already left Kong Sang Mountain, suddenly felt a chill run through their bodies, as if soone were staring at them intently.

Beside Zhang Xiaofan, a stunningly beautiful young woman dressed in green—Bi Yao—looked at him in confusion, not knowing what was wrong with him.

As it turned out, after Lu Xueqi slew the Black Water Mystic Serpent and was taken away by the System, Bi Yao and You Ji had also arrived at the Dead Spirit Abyss.

However, by the ti they arrived, the battle had already ended, and they did not notice the changes within the Dead Spirit Abyss.

After Lu Xueqi was taken away by the System, Zhang Xiaofan and Lin Jingyu searched everywhere beneath the Dead Spirit Abyss, yet they never found any trace of her.

After pondering for a mont, the two decided to fly toward the rciless Sea, planning to find the Heavenly Book as quickly as possible.

But just as they made their move, they were discovered by You Ji and Bi Yao.

Imdiately afterward, Qin Wuyan of the Ten Thousand Poison Sect arrived as well, bringing along the Bloodsucking Old Demon, surrounding them.

At the sa ti, Li Xun, Fa Xiang, and the others who had co together with Zhang Xiaofan and Lin Jingyu, after Lu Xueqi disappeared, made a show of searching for Lu Xueqi and Qi Hao out of nominal camaraderie before also heading toward the rciless Sea.

Yet they had barely set off when they too were noticed by You Ji and Bi Yao, quickly falling into the encirclent of Qin Wuyan and the others.

After weighing the situation, they decisively abandoned Zhang Xiaofan and Lin Jingyu and turned around to leave.

After all, the upheaval at Kong Sang Mountain had temporarily co to an end, and Lu Xueqi’s whereabouts were unknown. Their own strength was far inferior to that of the demonic path experts.

If they continued to stay, the odds would be grim. Thus, without the slightest hesitation, they withdrew directly.

Although Fa Xiang wanted to step in and rescue Zhang Xiaofan and Lin Jingyu, he was stopped by Fa Shan.

After all, Lu Xueqi’s killing of Puzhi of Tianyin Temple had always left a knot in Fa Shan’s heart, making him unwilling for Fa Xiang to have excessive contact with people of the Qingyun Sect.

Moreover, they were eager to rush back to Tianyin Temple to inform Abbot Puhong of Puzhi’s fall so that he could decide how to handle the matter.

Just as Zhang Xiaofan and Lin Jingyu were surrounded by the Ten Thousand Poison Sect and You Ji’s group, sinking into despair,

the Black Water Mystic Serpent, which had originally been lying on the rciless Sea at death’s door, suddenly seed to experience a last burst of vitality. Seizing the mont when everyone was unprepared, it unleashed its final strike.

Terrifying power tore through the void, instantly blasting the demonic sect crowd and Zhang Xiaofan’s group apart in all directions.

Amid the chaos, Zhang Xiaofan and Bi Yao, just like in the original plot, were blasted straight into the Dripping Blood Cave and found the Heavenly Book.

Lin Jingyu, on the other hand, was flung away by the aftermath of the Black Water Mystic Serpent’s attack, crashing heavily into a mountain wall and losing consciousness on the spot.

When Lin Jingyu finally awakened and entered the Dripping Blood Cave to search for Zhang Xiaofan and the Heavenly Book, he found the cave completely empty.

Zhang Xiaofan and Bi Yao were already nowhere to be seen—even the Heavenly Book had been destroyed.

This scene sent Lin Jingyu’s fury soaring.

Following the passage carved open by Zhang Xiaofan and Bi Yao, he left the Dead Spirit Abyss.
