Though she was soone that was wearing an astronaut suit, she was still quite the beautiful girl.
She was soone who had twintails and freckles which made her look like the girl next door, but her wide bright eyes and small nose gave her a perfect appearance.
She was definitely the kind of beauty that could turn heads easily.
At the sa ti, once the chest part of that astronaut suit ca off, there was sothing that ca bouncing out.
She was by no ans small. She was soone that could even give Yue Lan a run for her money with how large she was.
But soone with this beauty was just completely engrossed in looking at the ores that had been brought for her. She looked like there was only the ores in her eyes and nothing else.
It was almost as if she was lost in her own little world.
After observing the ores for a while, she suddenly looked up and said, "Sect Master Lin, is this it? Is there really nothing else?"
Lin Fan shook his head with a bitter smile when he heard this, but then he also took out several other ores. Though in terms of quantity, these were far less than the ones that he brought out previously.
That was because these ores were special.
These were ores that he used DP to exchange for in the Dungeon Master System.
They were rare ores that weren't found that easily. It was only because of the Dungeon Master System that Lin Fan was able to find these ores.
However, because of their rarity, they were ores that had very impressive functions.
As an engineer, she was able to recognize this with a single glance, even if she didn't know what the exact functions of these ores were. Since she could tell that they were special, it didn't take long for her to get lost in these ores.
She even forgot about Lin Fan who had just taken these ores out.
Lin Fan shook his head with another bitter smile when he saw this, but he didn't say anything to disturb her while she was observing the ores.
Instead, he was just looking at her with a trace of admiration in his eyes.
It wasn't because of her appearance, but rather the way that she looked at the ores. Soone that could look at ores with this kind of passion, it was clear what kind of feelings she had towards her work.
And since she was soone that could devote this kind of passion to her work, it was only natural that Lin Fan could feel admiration for her.
Though he also did look at her with a bit of a strange look.
The way that she looked at the ores wasn't natural after all.
With the way that she was looking at the ores, it didn't seem like she was going to co back to her senses any ti soon.
So Lin Fan just gave a cough and said, "Veronica, what have you been up to lately?"
When she heard him calling her by her na, the engineer finally stopped looking at the ore and looked up at him. The way that she looked at him was with a trace of aggrievent as if she had been pulled away from her lover, even though she had just been staring at this ore.
But Lin Fan didn't let that bother him as he waited for her to speak.
So in the end, Veronica put the ore down and moved over to the bench that she had been working at before.
She pushed aside the thing that she had been working on before, as if she didn't care about it anymore. Even though when Lin Fan ca in, she had angrily yelled about him about letting the heat out.
It was as if she had completely lost interest in this thing and that was because…she had.
This was just sothing that she had been tinkering with in her spare ti, so she didn't actually care that much about this thing once these ores arrived. Veronica's attention had been completely taken by the ores that she couldn't care about anything else.
But before she could go back to examining the ores and figuring out how she would use them, she had to send the one that was standing here away.
So after pushing everything aside, she opened up a cabinet and pulled out three things that she placed on the table as if she was offering them for inspection.
Lin Fan didn't care about how she acted as she brought these things out, his attention was just on these things completely.
After all, these were the things that he had been waiting for.
It was a hair dryer, a lighter, and a flashlight.
Those were the three things that Veronica had taken out and they all seed like normal household appliances. It was just that these things were anything but that.
These were actually machines that were a new kind of machine that Lin Fan had her develop.
The key thing was that there were spirit stones inside of these machines that were powering them. It wasn't the liquid that had been made from spirit stones that the ship used, but rather spirit stones directly inserted inside of these things.
Inside of the hair dryer was a wind attributed and a fla attributed spirit stone, inside of the lighter was a fla attributed spirit stone, and inside of the flashlight was a rare light attributed spirit stone.
These were spirit stones that actually had an elent to them, so naturally they were rarer than other things.
The first item that Lin Fan picked up was the lighter.
With a single flick, he was able to ignite a fla with the lighter. However, his eyes imdiately lit up when he saw the fla appear.
With how excited he was, it really didn't seem like he was just using a lighter.
Then putting that lighter down, he went to test both the hair dryer and the flashlight.
Lin Fan's eyes filled with even more excitent when he saw that these things worked.
After giving a satisfied laugh, Lin Fan said, "Good, very good. Keep up the good work."
Veronica just gave a simple nod as she looked at him as if she was waiting for him to leave.
Lin Fan could naturally take this hint and turned to leave, but he still had the sa excited look on his face when he turned to leave. After all, what these things symbolized made it hard for him to calm down.
These might seem like simple household objects, but they were anything but that.
The machines that the technologically advanced continent used were powered by batteries and used technology to produce their effects. But the ones that Veronica just demonstrated didn't follow the sa concept.
They mixed cultivation and technology together to produce these effects.
What this ant was that the resources of the cultivation continent and the technologically advanced continent could be mixed. And the applications didn't just stop there.
For example, the lighter that was made with the fire attributed spirit stone.
This was a lighter that drew on the power of the fire attributed spirit stone, using the fire elental energy to create flas. As long as there was still fire elental energy in the spirit stone, then it would be able to create as many flas as if wanted like how lighter fluid worked for normal lighters.
But since the lighter could draw out the fire elental energy of the spirit stone, that ant that other forms of technology could as well.
For example…a gun.
Lin Fan had already seen the guns that the crew of the UFO had and these guns were more advanced than the guns from his previous world. Instead of guns that fired bullets, these were guns that fired lasers.
If he were to use this technology with the spirit stones, then he would be able to create a gun that shot out fireballs. Or if he made it so that there was a continuous release of the fire elental energy, it would beco a flathrower.
If he were to use it with a light attributed spirit stone, he would be able to condense that light elental energy into a laser.
But that was just the stuff that he could think of.
If Veronica found other outputs, then all kinds of crazy weapons could be created.
Just confirming that spirit stones could be mixed with technology was already more than enough to prove that this wasn't just a concept, which was why he couldn't contain himself.
Cultivation could do things that technology couldn't, while technology did things that cultivation couldn't.
Bringing them together was the best way to create sothing that had the best of both worlds.
And the best of both worlds would bring it to a level where it was better than the strongest in both worlds.
This was another trump card for the future.
But for now, Veronica still needed ti to develop all the different inventions.
Right now, ti was what Lin Fan needed the most.

Lin Fan was pulled out of his thoughts and he found that Yue Lan was right in front of him. She even seed like she was a bit out of breath because she had been looking for him.
Lin Fan couldn't help knitting his brows seeing this, but then he followed her with a nod.
