Ever since he took care of the regint commanders, it was as if the six factions had completely lost interest in Glory City. It was as if they were just focused on sothing else that Lin Fan had no idea about.
Since he had been locked up in the city with the rest of the royal guards, there was no way for him to get any information.
The ones that he sent out of the city, the spies from the Laver Empire didn't tell him anything either.
Though they said that it was because they didn't have any information for him, Lin Fan knew that it was all because of the orders that Haku gave them that they didn't tell him anything.
After all, Lin Fan could still talk to Rokuko through the dungeon core forum.
But it seed that even Rokuko had been kept in the dark about everything.
It wasn't that Haku was keeping her in the dark, it was even Yue Lan and Ming Xin who were keeping her in the dark. The only thing that Lin Fan knew was that Yue Lan and Ming Xin had been working with Haku and the Laver Empire during this ti.
He knew that he had told the two of them to work with them, but it seed that they took this quite seriously.
They were even ignoring him to take care of this matter with Haku.
Still, Lin Fan didn't bla them since he knew the reason why they were doing all of this.
This was an important thing for not just them, but the entirety of the Laver Empire.
At the sa ti, this was an important thing since the Kalos Empire was the one that was trying to invade the cultivation continent.
So if they wanted to stop them, they had to take down the Kalos Empire.
It was just that Lin Fan would have liked to be told a thing or two.
In the end, it was the spies from the Laver Empire that finally told Lin Fan that…
"The six factions will be sending their people soon. This ti, they're not planning on sending an army. They will be sending a group of people to co and sneak into the city to take care of Emperor Kalos."
"You've given them the thod of taking care of the barrier?"
The spies just gave nods of agreent.
This was sothing that Yue Lan and Ming Xin had already told Lin Fan would be happening, which was why he wasn't surprised to hear this.
Lin Fan knew that it was finally his ti to leave this place since the people of the six factions would be coming.
But there was sothing that Lin Fan wanted to ask.
"Do they have any other instructions for ?"
The spies looked at Lin Fan without saying anything for a bit, but then they said, "Do what you think you should do. They know that you have your own ideas and they approve of what you want to do."
Then after a pause, the spies added, "Of course, that depends on whether you have your discretion or not."
Lin Fan was certainly surprised to hear this since he thought that Haku would be happy to see him put himself in danger.
But thinking about it, he knew that she didn't have a choice.
Right now, it wasn't in her best interest for Lin Fan to put himself in danger since she still needed him to do things for her.
At the sa ti…if sothing happened to Lin Fan…
Well, she just couldn't put Rokuko through that.
It seed that she was slowly warming up to Lin Fan.
Or it was better to say that she was slowly learning to tolerate him for Rokuko's sake.

They were the ones that he had actually ford a bond with, but there was nothing that he could do about it since they were part of his plan as well. He just hoped that they would be able to escape after working with Emperor Kalos.

Lin Fan said to himself before leaving Glory City.
With the seeds inside of them, the royal guards would take at least a few days before they regained control of themselves. When the ti ca, Emperor Kalos truly would be all alone.
That would be the perfect ti for the people from the six factions to strike.
Once he left Glory City, Lin Fan didn't leave the territory of the Kalos Empire right away.
Instead, he actually went to where the people of the six factions were coming from.
With the reports, he was able to track them and find them in no ti.
The mont that he found one group, that was when he suddenly released his mist spell.
"Who's there?"
The people from the six factions imdiately recognized that the mist that surrounded them wasn't ordinary mist. They imdiately recognized that this was so kind of mist that was created with a spell or power, so they imdiately raised their guard.
Only Lin Fan didn't actually attack them after surrounding them with the mist.
Instead, he just simply watched over them as he waited to see what they would do.
Inside of the mist, the people from the six factions had different reactions.
There were so that seed content in waiting out the mist without moving. There were so that tried to find the source of the mist. Then there was one group that tried to recruit the one that spread the mist.
"You're the Mist Lord, aren't you? I never thought that you would be working for the emperor. However, you should already be aware that the emperor has no power in this Kalos Empire and who holds the real power here. You should follow the one that can give you the most benefits."
If Lin Fan was soone that actually worked for Emperor Kalos, he might have been tempted since what they offered was quite good.
But he wasn't soone that actually worked for Emperor Kalos.
That ant that he just wasn't tempted at all by what they were offering.
Instead, he just simply played around with them for a bit before releasing the mist and letting them go.
Though playing around with them for a bit ant that they had been trapped in the mist for over two days.
This was him stalling them so that Emperor Kalos and those in Glory City would have a bit more ti.
At the sa ti, the most important thing was that Lin Fan was testing how powerful his abilities were.
Lin Fan knew that these people sent by the six factions were middle class experts for them. So Lin Fan wanted to test how he would compare to these middle class experts from the six factions.
And it turned out that he was more than capable of dealing with them.
Even though the mana that they possessed was equal to the spiritual energy of soone in the Golden Core Realm, they just couldn't deal with Lin Fan's cultivation techniques.
That included mist that was created from his Clear Water.
So that was a good indication of how he would deal with them in the future.
Lin Fan felt much more confident about acting against the six factions in the future if they didn't have a way of dealing with him.
Once he finished testing them, Lin Fan let them head off to Glory City.
He didn't bother the gaps in the barrier that they would exploit since he wanted to let them use those gaps.
The people from the six factions did hesitate since they weren't certain what the goal of the Mist Lord was to trap them like this. They were afraid that he would be setting up so kind of trap for them.
But there was no trap at all.
Lin Fan had already left the area and was heading off to a completely different place.
Waiting for him was Dungeon Core 563 and her party.
When he arrived, she narrowed her eyes to look at him before saying, "You're late."
Lin Fan just said with a faint smile, "I'm not late, you're just early."
Dungeon Core 563 gave a soft snort before turning around to walk off.
Lin Fan didn't say anything as he followed behind her without a word.
The reason that he t Dungeon Core 563 in secret like this wasn't because of an affair. It was because Dungeon Core 563's party was leading him to a certain place.
As for what that place was, it was the place that the regint commanders had taken the adventurers.
This was the place that the six factions were interested in, which ant that Lin Fan was interested in it too.
So before returning to the Laver Empire, he wanted to take a look at this place.
