In the end, it didn't matter what they nad this place.
So even if the na was a bit…Lin Fan didn't bother comnting on it and focused on the temple that was in front of them.
This was an impressive temple no matter how one looked at it.
It wasn't that big of a temple, but it was certainly quite well built. It was made of material that had been carefully refined so that there wasn't a scratch left on it even after all the ti that it had been here.
While it was hard to tell exactly how long this temple had been here, the different clues around showed that it had been here for at least several thousands of years. That was the minimum that this place had to be here with how it was related to a god.
And of course, the most important thing was the aura of a god that was coming from inside of the temple.
So instead of saying anything else about the na, Lin Fan just said, "Is it safe to enter?"
Dungeon Core 563 and the others snapped out of their daze and focused back on the door in front of them.
After a montary pause, Dungeon Core 563 gave a nod before reaching out to push the door.
The first steps into the unknown, she wouldn't yield this to anyone.
But the mont that the door was pushed open slightly, there was a sound that ca from inside of the temple.
It wasn't the sound of sothing happening inside the temple.
In fact, it was a very clear sound that rang out in everyone's ears.
"Will you be my friend?"
"Who said that?" Dungeon Core 563 and her party imdiately pulled out their weapons as if they were prepared for a fight, but Lin Fan did sothing different.
Since there was a gap now, he sent his spiritual sense into the temple to see if there was anything that he could find. But the mont that his spiritual sense passed through the door, Lin Fan couldn't help slightly knitting his brows.
That was because there was sothing that actually blocked his spiritual sense from entering.
It wasn't spiritual sense or divine energy that was blocking it, it was sothing completely different. It was so kind of strange power that seed to be isolating the inside of the temple from the outside.
Perhaps he might be able to spread his spiritual sense if he was past the door, but he wasn't able to do anything from the position that he was currently standing in. No matter how hard he tried, that power seed to be too strong for his spiritual sense to pass through.
This was a power that was unlike anything that he had felt before.
Even though Lin Fan had experience with forms of energy that basically ca from all the different continents, he had never experienced anything like this before. It seed that this was sothing that was foreign to this entire world with how special it was.
"The power of a god? But if that's the case, does that an that there's a god that's in this place?"
The more that Lin Fan thought about it, the more likely that this seed.
However, if that was the case, then this place was far more dangerous than he thought.
If there was even a god in this place…
Well, it would all depend on if that god was a friendly individual or not.
After all, there were friendly gods like Aphrodite and Weiss who had left him things. But Lin Fan also knew that these two weren't the only gods out there.
There were dangerous beings that were equal to gods, such as the demons.
Especially that one demon that he encountered previously.
If he hadn't figured out a way to drain the power of the demon, then it was very likely that he would have died at the hands of this demon.
So the only question now was what was behind this door…
Once Dungeon Core 563 and the others were certain that nothing was coming, they turned back around to look at Lin Fan before she said, "Do you really want to explore this place? It seems like there's sothing far more dangerous than I thought behind this door. It would be best if we report this to Big Sister Haku and have her send people to investigate."
This wasn't just her speaking as a mber of Haku's fanclub.
This was Dungeon Core 563's honest opinion.
It was all because of the power that Haku had built over the many years that she had run her dungeon.
As one of the earlier dungeon cores, Haku had plenty of ti to develop her power.
With how big the Laver Empire was and the status that it had as one of the top empires of the continent, it was very clear how much power Haku had gathered for herself during this ti.
The Laver Empire would have experts that had reached the peak of their path, becoming top experts on this continent. They were the ones that would be able to match the Transcendence Realm Cultivators of the cultivation continent.
And they were the only ones that would be able to match a god.
Though it would certainly be a bad matchup for them since a god was a god.
They would certainly be at a disadvantage, though they would be able to actually fight back.
Anyone else would be helpless against a god.
The suggestion that Dungeon Core 563 made was quite the rational one, but Lin Fan didn't actually want to take it. After all, if they were to go back and call for Haku, there was no doubt that it would take a long ti for them to get back here.
After all, this was a place that was in the Kalos Empire.
For them to co back with the experts of the Laver Empire, that would only be possible when they took down the Kalos Empire.
But at the sa ti, there was a second reason why Lin Fan didn't want to get Haku involved.
It was because he wanted whatever the item was in this place for himself.
What he wanted was to take the item that had the god's power for himself. If Haku was to get involved, there was no doubt that she would want this item for herself as well.
Even if she couldn't use it herself, she would certainly be able to offer it to Weiss.
The personality that he had, it seed that he would be very interested in sothing like this.
That was why…
"Let's take a look for ourselves. It would be too disappointing to leave without having taken a look."
Dungeon Core 563 couldn't help knitting her brows when she heard this.
She didn't respond as she looked at while narrowing her eyes. The way that she was looking at Lin Fan was as if she felt that there was sothing wrong about what he said, but she couldn't tell exactly what it was.
It didn't seem like there was anything intrinsically wrong about what Lin Fan said. It was just that her sharp instincts told her that she was being tricked in so way.
Lin Fan just looked back at her with a calm look on his face as if he had done nothing wrong.
After a while, it seed like Dungeon Core 563 hadn't been able to find anything wrong.
So she slowly nodded her head in agreent to exploring this temple.
But the way that she looked at Lin Fan made it clear that she would keep a close eye on him so he wouldn't be able to do anything without her noticing.
Lin Fan just didn't say anything in response to this as he gestured towards the door, as if he was inviting her to go first. Since she didn't trust him, it was only natural that he would let her go first.
Dungeon Core 563 didn't move as she continued looking at Lin Fan as if she felt that sothing was wrong, but eventually she turned back to fully open the door.
This ti, there wasn't the sa voice as before that rang out.
But they still revealed confused looks because there wasn't much to this room that was in front of them.
It was a very small room that seed like it wasn't the sa size as the temple around it. It really seed like this wasn't even half of the temple with how much space it was actually taking up.
The only thing that was in this room was a pedestal and a statue that was on it, but this wasn't a statue of anything. This was more like so kind of pot rather than a statue, but it was well designed like a statue.
Only none of that mattered.
The only thing that mattered was the aura that was coming from this thing on the pedestal.
This was the aura that had attracted them to this place to begin with.
This was the aura of a god that was coming from the statue.
That ant that whatever this thing was, it was most likely the god fragnt that Lin Fan was looking for.
But once again, they didn't dare enter the room that rashly.
Lin Fan made sure to let Dungeon Core 563 go first since this was where her expertise ca into play.
As an adventurer, there was no doubt that she had encountered many rooms like this where there was a treasure placed in a conspicuous location.
That ant that there was most likely a trap here.
