When they arrived in Dungeon City, the first thing that happened was that Lin Fan was left alone.
As soon as they ca out, Yue Lan and Ming Xin ran off as if there was sothing else that they had to do.
That ant that Lin Fan and Uri were just left alone in front of the portal.
It made Lin Fan reveal a bitter smile as he didn’t know what he should do. After all, it had been a while since he had been back in Dungeon City because he had been on the magic continent taking care of matters.
He didn’t actually have any idea of what had happened in this place since he didn’t actually receive any reports.
There were plenty of ways for Lin Fan to receive reports, whether it was the spies from the Laver Empire or even the dungeon core forum. It was just that they didn’t tell him anything when he was in Glory City and when he was exploring God Valley.
It was as if they had been deliberately keeping him in the dark.
But while Lin Fan was just standing there with an awkward and bitter smile on his face, there was soone who was looking around with an excited look on his face. Even though this place was just a room that had the portal and nothing else, it seed like there was sothing exciting about this place to him.
Uri just seed like he couldn’t contain himself with the way that he kept looking around.
That was all because this place was a completely different continent.
Even if he was a god, he was soone who had been sealed into God Valley after becoming a god. It wasn’t as if he had been able to explore the entire world like the other gods.
So being here was a completely different experience for Uri.
Just being in a place like this that was filled with spiritual energy was considered a new experience for him.
After a while, the door opened and Rokuko ca out.
The reason that she didn’t co with them was because the Rokuko on that side was the second dungeon core. The Rokuko that entered the room now was the body that was ford with the first dungeon core.
She waved her hand at Lin Fan for him to follow her which made the smile on his face even more bitter, but he still followed her.
After walking for a bit, she led him to the room that she normally stayed in when she was in this dungeon.
Once they were here, Rokuko didn’t hesitate to sit down and turn on the TV that was connected to her console. She picked up one of the controllers for herself before handing over another controller to Lin Fan.
Lin Fan looked at it with a bitter smile, but he didn’t take this controller from her.
Instead, he asked, "What’s going on? Why am I being kept here?"
Rokuko tossed the controller to Lin Fan which he easily caught before using her controller to turn the console on.
Only after that did she say, "You were gone for a while, so they had to co up with so kind of excuse. After all, it was the Heavenly Demon Sect that ca looking for you, which was why they had to give them so excuse. So before they can explain that you’re back, you can’t really leave here. This is the only place that they can’t find you after all."
"The Heavenly Demon Sect?" Lin Fan couldn’t help repeating in a surprised voice.
Though he already expected it to be sothing serious for him to be called back, he was surprised that it was the Heavenly Demon Sect.
If it was the Heavenly Demon Sect, then that ant that this was sothing related to Ye Qing Huan. But if it was related to Ye Qing Huan, why was it not the Ye Family that ca to see him instead of Heavenly Demon Sect?
Before this, it had always been soone from the Ye Family rather than from the main Heavenly Demon Sect.
"Is it anyone that you recognize?"
Yue Lan and Ming Xin both shook their heads in response.
Lin Fan understood why the two of them were keeping him here after he heard this, but still there was a part of him that didn’t like being trapped like this. Still, he knew that they were doing this for his own good.
"How long do I have to stay here?" That was the next thing that Lin Fan asked.
Since he accepted it, he had to at least know how long he would be trapped in this place.
Yue Lan and Ming Xin didn’t answer right away as they looked at each other as if they were trying to figure sothing out.
But eventually Yue Lan said, "Two days. That is the minimum."
Lin Fan slightly knitted his brows when he heard this.
Yue Lan naturally didn’t miss this, so she explained, "It’s the ti fra that we gave the people from the Heavenly Demon Sect. If you appear before that, it would make things awkward."
Lin Fan’s expression didn’t change as he kept looking at them like this for a bit, but Yue Lan and Ming Xin didn’t seem to back down. It seed that this really was the minimum that they needed to deal with this matter.
Since that was the case, Lin Fan didn’t make it any harder on them.
"Alright, that’s not a problem. I’ll just consider it a vacation after everything that’s happened recently."
"Thank you." Yue Lan and Ming Xin looked relieved when they heard this.
Though they made this decision for Lin Fan’s good, it was still a hard decision for them since they were basically trapping him for two days. They were afraid that it would make him hate them for doing this to him.
Well not exactly hate them, but...
Lin Fan could see how they felt, so he said, "It’s alright, I understand. You were doing what you could for while I was gone."
But then he added, "Of course, I hope that you’ll keep in the loop from now on. If you hide everything from , it’ll feel like you don’t trust ."
"We only did it this ti because it was important. We knew that it would have affected you if you knew about this. We promise that we’ll tell you everything in the future." Yue Lan said this, but Lin Fan could tell that there was a trace of deceit in her voice.
It was clear that she would do this again if she felt that it was necessary...
Still, Lin Fan decided to trust her since Yue Lan had been with him since the beginning.
She wouldn’t actually do anything to hurt him.
Since it was set that he would stay here for two more days, it didn’t seem like Yue Lan and Ming Xin had anything else to say to him. After all, it wasn’t as if Lin Fan took care of the managent of Dungeon City in the first place.
The only thing that they would report to him were important things that went wrong.
With the way that they were managing Dungeon City, it wasn’t as if there would be anything going wrong.
But before they left, Lin Fan suddenly rembered that there was sothing that he actually had to talk to them about.
"Help arrange so people to move these things. Take them and place them around the Love Sect."
Yue Lan and Ming Xin were surprised to see the statue that Lin Fan pulled out, but they didn’t say anything as they looked more closely at the statue. They knew that Lin Fan wouldn’t pull out sothing like this for no reason, so they wanted to see what was so special about it.
Seeing this, Lin Fan whispered sothing to Uri.
"Ah!" Both Yue Lan and Ming Xin were surprised by the barrier that suddenly appeared around the avatar that pushed them back.
Once they caught themselves, they narrowed their eyes to look at Lin Fan.
Lin Fan didn’t mind it as he looked at them with a faint smile on his face.
In a way, this was a tiny bit of payback that he was getting on the two of them. It was only a tiny bit of payback since it wasn’t as if Lin Fan wanted to hurt the two of them.
Uri saw this and said, "Sorry, big sisters."
Yue Lan and Ming Xin imdiately made sure that Uri knew that it wasn’t his fault and that it was all Lin Fan’s fault.
Then once they were done, they turned back to look at the statue.
After looking at it for a bit, they asked, "Will it spread far enough to cover the entire Love Sect?"
Lin Fan didn’t say anything as he left this question to Uri to answer.
Uri tilted his head as if he thought about it before saying, "As long as they are spread out enough, they should be enough to cover a large area. But you have to make sure that they are far enough from each other or the barriers will interfere with one another."
"Are you sure that you have enough?" Yue Lan asked Lin Fan.
Lin Fan just said with a confident smile, "I’m sure that there’s enough."
That was all that Yue Lan needed.
This kind of absolute defense that could be activated instantly, it was sothing that the Love Sect was missing.
So Yue Lan and Ming Xin didn’t hesitate to arrange for it to be set up.
