"Puh!"
There was a figure that was sent flying through the air, but it wasn’t the one that the disciples of the Clear Star Sect expected to see.
They had believed that their sect master would be able to take care of the tal intruder, but it turned out that their sect master wasn’t even close to being a match for this tal intruder.
All it took was a single blow to seriously injure the sect master to the point where he flew through the air with a trail of blood behind him.
It wasn’t a contest between the tal person and their sect master...
If their sect master wasn’t even able to do anything to this tal person, then what chances did the rest of their Clear Star Sect have?
All of them froze in place as they watched their sect master fall to the ground, but the second that the sect master landed...
"Ah!"
There were screams of terror that rang out as all of them realized that they were nothing more than lambs to the slaughter if they were to stay here.
That was why as soon as the sect master landed on the ground, there wasn’t a single disciple that ca forward to help him. They all stayed as far away as possible from him as if they were afraid that they would be implicated if they were to approach him.
All of them turned to run the mont that they realized that they were in danger.
But before any of them could get far, there were several voices that ca from the center of the Clear Star Sect.
"Who dares to cause trouble in my Clear Star Sect?"
As soon as these voices rang out, there was a pressure that fell on all of the disciples that made them freeze in place. It was as if they were being punished for running away after seeing their sect master being defeated like this.
All of the disciples had bitter looks on their faces when they felt this pressure fall on them, but there was a trace of relief that appeared in their eyes from feeling this pressure.
It ant that there were still experts in their Clear Star Sect that would be able to drive out the enemy that had co to attack them.
Once the pressure persisted for a while, there were three figures that ca from the three peaks that were in the Clear Star Sect. The aura that ca from the three of them showed that they weren’t normal people.
At the sa ti, they were clearly stronger than the sect master who had been smashed into the ground just now.
After a mont of silence, one of the disciples finally said, "It’s the three grand elders!"
Other sects might only have one grand elder, but the Clear Star Sect had three. One for each of the three peaks that founded the Clear Star Sect.
The sect master of the Clear Star Sect was just the general manager of the Clear Star Sect, these three grand elders were the real leaders of the Clear Star Sect. They were also the ones that had received the true inheritance from the three original peaks that made up the Clear Star Sect, so they were also the strongest in the sect.
Or at least the strongest in the current Clear Star Sect.
Once the three of them ca out, all three of them glared at the other two as if they weren’t happy to see them.
It was as if there was so kind of competition between the three peaks of the Clear Star Sect with how they looked at each other like this.
However, this soon ended as they all turned to look at the tal figure that was in the sky.
Regardless of how they felt about each other, it wasn’t the ti for them to think about sothing like this. After all, the Clear Star Sect was currently in danger and it would all be over if the Clear Star Sect fell.
So they turned their attention back to the tal intruder that was in the air.
"Who are you?" The three of them said at the sa ti before they turned to glare at each other. Still, they focused on the tal figure once more after quickly glaring at each other.
"What does it matter when you’re about to die?" The tal figure said in a calm voice before raising a hand to gather power once more.
The three grand elders looked like they were angered by what the tal figure said, but they soon lost that look of anger. This look on their faces was replaced with a look of caution as they looked at the energy that the tal figure was gathering.
That was because they could tell that this wasn’t just any normal attack that this tal figure was gathering.
They could tell that this was an attack that even posed a threat to them as they could feel the danger coming from it.
In their minds, the three of them were having a conversation with their spiritual sense to try and find a way to deal with it. Though in reality, the only thing that was happening was them trying to make one of them bait while the other two attacked.
Because they kept arguing like this, they didn’t have the ti to actually co up with a plan and they had no choice but to face this attack head on.
Or it was better to say that they were pushed back by this attack.
When their attacks ca into contact with this strange attack from the tal figure, it collapsed right away. Even though there were the three of them working together, they found that they were actually pushed back by this attack.
This attack didn’t seem that powerful based on the aura that it gave off, but there was sothing strange about this attack after all.
It gave off the sensation that it was able to swallow everything.
That was what happened the mont that the clash happened.
Their attacks seed like it was being swallowed by this attack from the tal figure.
So in the end, the three grand elders had no choice but to retreat.
They were heading in a certain direction, they were heading to the east of the Clear Star Sect. In particular, it seed like they were heading for a particular patch of woods that was there.
It didn’t seem like there was anything special about this place, but they were determined to reach that place even though they were being chased by the tal figure.
It seed like they were hoping that their salvation would be in that place.

"So that is where the true expert of the Clear Star Sect is?" Lin Fan muttered to himself as he watched the three grand elders that he was chasing run in that direction.
Once they ca close, there was an aura that was released from that patch of forest.
This aura was much stronger than the aura that the three grand elders released.
This was clearly the aura of the true hidden expert of the Clear Star Sect.
This was a pressure that even Lin Fan couldn’t help feeling a bit suppressed by.
After all, this was the pressure that ca from soone that was in the Soul Building Realm.
Facing soone that had a higher level of cultivation should have been enough to make him back down, but Lin Fan didn’t retreat even though he could tell that this person was at a higher level of cultivation.
Instead, there was a part of him that was excited to face this person.
"You fools, why would you bring him here?" That was the voice that ca out of this patch of forest and it was clearly aid at the grand elders of the Clear Star Sect.
The grand elders that were still flying in that direction revealed awkward looks on their faces, but they didn’t say anything. They couldn’t beat this tal figure, so the only thing that they could do was bring this tal figure to soone that could beat it.
There was a burst of pressure that ca from the patch of forest that pushed back the trees, while also suppressing the three grand elders which forced them onto the ground.
"I’ll deal with your three idiots later."
Though they were the three grand elders of the Clear Star Sect, they were being treated like children at this mont.
"Why have you caused this trouble for my Clear Star Sect? We have no enmity with you, so why are you doing all of this?" The voice ca from the trees, but Lin Fan just ignored it as he kept coming closer.
As he did, there was a sword ford from sword energy that flew out at him.
He just launched another attack at it that swallowed the spiritual energy that ford this sword.
"Do you need help?" Ye Qing Huan’s voice ca from inside of Lin Fan’s helt.
One would think that he would need help against soone in the Soul Building Realm...but in the end, Lin Fan just simply said, "No, I’ll do it myself."
Ye Qing Huan just gave a soft sound of acknowledgent without saying anything else.
There was another reason why Lin Fan’s voice was so firm.
It was because when the person hiding in these trees released their aura, they pushed back the trees to reveal what was hidden.
This was the truth of why the Heavenly Demon Sect wanted to destroy this place.
