When Lin Fan tried to leave the boundaries of the Forest of Death, he found that the killing intent started to react.
There was still that large amount of killing intent that was wrapped up around him and the mont that he tried to leave, it started to act up. It was as if it would break free of his control the mont that he left the Forest of Death.
It seed that the thing that was holding back the killing intent released its control the mont that he tried to leave this Forest of Death.
Lin Fan had no idea if it was intentional or not when it happened since it felt like it was happening all of a sudden.
The way that it happened was as if whatever it was that was holding back the killing intent was losing its power when he tried to leave.
So the way that it happened made it seem like it wasn’t intentional.
It felt like he was leaving the influence of whatever that thing was.
Since this was happening as he was leaving the Forest of Death, it ant that Lin Fan wouldn’t be able to leave at this rate. That was unless he found a way to control the killing intent.
There were two ways for him to do this.
One was to find the thing that had been helping him control this killing intent this whole ti. Once he found it, he would have to subdue that thing and use its power to restrain the killing intent again.
Two was to restrain the killing intent on his own. Killing intent was a form of power and as long as he focused on it, he would be able to restrain it and use it for himself.
He had been able to do it the entire ti with the help of that power, so he already knew how it felt to control the killing intent. The only thing that he had to do now was train on how to control it without that power.
Though it was certainly easier said than done.
After thinking about it, Lin Fan chose the forr rather than the latter.
It wasn’t that it was easier. It was more so that since he was already here, he should give it a try...
The latter would without a doubt take a long ti, so it was certainly worth it to give this a try.
Since he had co to a decision, Lin Fan didn’t waste any ti in heading to the center of the Forest of Death. Though this ti, he used a completely different approach compared to last ti.
The last ti he was here, he had taken things slowly since he didn’t know what was waiting for him.
But this ti, he knew that whatever it was that was controlling the killing intent wouldn’t actually do anything up to a certain point. In which case, he could just charge in without a single care for the animals and plants that were there to stop him.
Once he was at a certain point, that was when Lin Fan took it more slowly.
He could feel the pull more intensely which told him that whatever it was that was controlling the killing intent was right in front of him.
But that didn’t an that he knew how to deal with it.
So in the end, Lin Fan just took a deep breath and went forward to see what he could find.
In a worst case scenario, he would be able to escape by pulling himself away with his gravity powers.
However, after taking a few steps...Lin Fan found that he was soon surrounded.
There were these beasts that were clearly different from the other beasts that he faced.
After all, he could sense that there were traces of cultivation coming from these beasts.
It was different from the other beasts and plants that he encountered.
Those beasts and plants still had the magic powers of this magic continent, they didn’t possess a single trace of cultivation. However, these beasts were clearly using cultivation techniques to make themselves stronger.
In fact, it seed like their cultivation technique was related to the killing intent that was around them.
Did that an that whoever it was that had set up this Forest of Death was soone from the cultivation continent.

After thinking this through, Lin Fan slowly started releasing his aura.
While he wasn’t certain what this would get him, he tried to form a connection with the one that controlled this Forest of Death.
The mont that his aura was released, the beasts that had been attacking him suddenly stopped. The way that they froze was as if they had received so kind of order that was telling them to stop.
But at the sa ti, Lin Fan could tell from the way that they were looking at him that they recognized the aura that he was releasing. This was the aura of his cultivation technique after all, so they recognized it as sothing familiar.
"This is the aura of one of the Heavenly Demon Sect’s core cultivation techniques. Finally a comrade has arrived."
Lin Fan couldn’t help revealing a confused look when he heard this, but he didn’t say anything as he waited for the one that said this to reveal themselves.
But there was no one that appeared in the end.
After this was said, there was only silence that filled the air.
However, it didn’t seem like any of the beasts were planning to do anything, so it wasn’t as if Lin Fan was in danger. He just didn’t understand what was happening at this mont.
In the end, the beasts moved out of the way as if they were clearing a path for him.
Lin Fan raised a brow to look at him, but none of the beasts made a move as they stood there. It was as if they were just waiting for him to walk down this path to et the one that was waiting at the end.
Lin Fan knew that the one that was waiting at the end was the one that controlled the killing intent, as well as the one that created this Forest of Death.
But the most important thing was that he had recognized this as the cultivation technique of the Heavenly Demon Sect.
Did that an that whoever it was was soone that ca from the Heavenly Demon Sect?
No, even if that person called him a comrade, that didn’t really an that he was telling the truth.
Only when Lin Fan arrived at the end, he found that there wasn’t a single person that was waiting for him. It was an empty clearing that didn’t have anything other than a few items that were in the ground.
Lin Fan couldn’t help revealing a confused look as he looked around the area trying to find the thing that talked to him. But in the end, he was surprised to find that it was sothing that he didn’t expect.
The thing that had talked to him was sothing that was in the ground.
It seed to be so kind of stone that was sticking out of the ground.
This was sothing that was so inconspicuous that Lin Fan had ignored it when he first saw it, but it was hard to ignore it when he felt the aura that was coming from it. This was the aura of the thing that had been restraining the killing intent.
Did that an that this stone was the thing that was restraining the killing intent?
"What, you’ve never seen a stone this handso before?"
Lin Fan’s lips couldn’t help twitching after hearing this and he really didn’t know what to say in response.
In the end, the stone continued by saying, "Alright, there’s no need to act like that, I was just joking."
Another strange look appeared on Lin Fan’s face before he asked, "What are you?"
"Well, that’s reasonable since this stone is indeed unique." The stone said in a proud voice that made Lin Fan’s expression beco even more strange.
But he didn’t say anything in the end as he waited for the stone to speak again.
"This stone is the Blood Restraining Stone of the Blood Sect, one of the foremost sects under the Heavenly Demon Sect."
"Blood Restraining Stone?" Lin Fan couldn’t help asking in a confused voice.
If the stone could nod, it would have nodded at this point. But instead, the stone just said, "That’s right, I was a training tool that was used by the Blood Sect in the past. However, after arriving in this place, I gained my own spirituality and had been creating my own territory by using the beasts and plants around this place."
Another strange look appeared on Lin Fan’s face when he heard this.
This certainly wasn’t what he had been expecting to hear from this thing.
But this did explain what this place was...or at least give him an idea of what this place was.
It didn’t fully explain what this place was, but at least he now knew what it was that was helping all of these things restrain their killing intent.
"How did you end up in this place?"
A sigh rang out in his head before the stone said, "I don’t know either, but I gained spirituality all of a sudden in this place. All I know is that I had to return to the Heavenly Demon Sect one day. And now there’s a disciple of the Heavenly Demon Sect that has appeared in front of ."
