When he saw this, he couldn’t help being taken aback.
After all, the look in her eyes showed that she wasn’t as against this as he thought she would be.
It almost seed like she was fine with giving up her title and letting Lin Fan beco the Heavenly Demon.
But that wasn’t sothing that Lin Fan wanted either.
Turning back to look at the Heavenly Demon, Lin Fan simply asked, "Why?"
He didn’t deny it, he just simply wanted to know why the Heavenly Demon was making this offer to him all of a sudden.
The Heavenly Demon revealed a faint smile as he said, "I was impressed by what I saw and I got greedy. That’s how it is when you’re a demonic cultivator, you just take what you want."
Though he said it like this, it wasn’t as if he ant it literally.
If he really wanted to take what he wanted, there was no reason for him to ask Lin Fan this question. With his power, it would have been easy to force Lin Fan to beco his disciple and take over as the Heavenly Demon when the ti ca.

The way that he gave up really seed like he was giving up too easy. The way that he gave up almost made it seem like he was insincere about his offer earlier.
However, both Lin Fan and Ye Qing Huan knew that this wasn’t the case.
It was just that he had changed targets, which was why he didn’t seem to care about whether Lin Fan beca the Heavenly Demon or not.

Though if he thought about it, it wasn’t as if Lin Fan would abandon the Heavenly Demon Sect in the first place since he was already a disciple of the Heavenly Demon Sect.
Even if he didn’t beco the Heavenly Demon in the future, it was already likely that he would beco one of the Eight Kings who were just as famous as the Heavenly Demon.
