It wasn’t as if Lin Fan could have shut himself away like those inner sect and outer sect disciples.
It was different for Han Ba since he already spent quite a bit of ti in closed door cultivation, so everyone was used to Han Ba not showing himself for long periods of ti.

He thought that they would at least wait for so ti after threatening him like that, but it seed like they had no qualms about it at all.
Actually, Lin Fan was even more surprised by the fact that they ca to visit him instead of them summoning him like they did before.

He spoke in this tone because he wanted to test how this senior brother would react to this.
However, he was caught off guard when he heard the response from the senior brother.
"That’s not a problem at all. Take as long as you want since I’ve already waited a long ti for this. As long as you do what you can, that will be enough for ." A wide and friendly smile appeared on the senior brother’s face when he said this.
Lin Fan didn’t let it show on his face, but he was completely caught off guard by these words.
After all, no matter how he thought about it, this really didn’t seem like sothing that this arrogant senior brother would say to soone like him.
While Lin Fan was stunned, the senior brother said sothing that caught him even more off guard. Though it wasn’t what the senior brother said that caught him off guard, it was more what the senior brother offered him.
"Just for attempting, this is a small token of my appreciation." The senior brother said with the sa wide smile as he took out sothing for Lin Fan.
The mont that it ca out, Lin Fan could already sense the spiritual energy coming from this thing.
Then when he saw it with his eyes, he couldn’t help slightly knitting his brows.
His Appraisal Eyes had activated as soon as he looked at it, so he knew exactly what this thing was.
Since his Appraisal Eyes had activated, Lin Fan knew just how valuable this thing was. At the sa ti, he could tell that this thing definitely wasn’t worth just taking care of a single seed.

The ones that ca to visit him were from the factions that had called him out to threaten him. They were the ones that had banded together on the last day of the tournant to try and take down Han Ba.
But before they could, they had been stopped by the ssengers from their masters who they had no choice but to listen to.

It was obvious that they would investigate why their masters were acting this way.

So even if they were core disciples, it wasn’t as if they would be able to get any information about this unless their masters wanted them to know.
"It seems like they’re still keeping it secret right now..." That was the conclusion that Lin Fan reached in the end.

Once they failed to obtain the information that they wanted to obtain, it would make them wary. Once they beca wary, they would realize that they would no longer be able to use the backing of their master to handle things.
The core privilege that a core disciple had was that they had a backing.
While being a core disciple did provide one with many different rights in the Heavenly Demon Sect, that alone wasn’t enough to make it worth becoming a core disciple.
The real right that everyone was after was the right to gain a backer.
After all, only those with high positions could turn soone into a core disciple of the Heavenly Demon Sect. If not one of the Eight Kings, then it would be an elder that was on the sa level as the Eight Kings.
There were others that were very close to reaching the Transcendence Realm after all that had a very high position.
"It seems like they’re helping in so way." That was the second conclusion that Lin Fan reached after thinking this through.
For the elders not to share this information with their disciples clearly ant that they were favouring Lin Fan. They were making sure that their disciples wouldn’t be able to do anything that they would regret.
At the sa ti, they were giving Lin Fan ti to build up his forces since the core disciples would be too afraid to make a move against him.
Once they learned about the deal between Lin Fan and the elders, then they wouldn’t be as afraid to take action. But until then, they wouldn’t push it too far since they knew that their masters favoured Lin Fan more than them.
Otherwise, they wouldn’t have sent those people to stop them from doing anything to Han Ba and Lin Fan.
"They must have also been here to see if they could find anything. Since they couldn’t get anything from investigating, they must be hoping that they could get sothing out of ..." Lin Fan muttered to himself with a sigh.
There was nothing that he could do about this other than play along.
Though there was a part of him that wondered what other reasons the elders kept this silent.
In the end, he said with another sigh, "There must be sothing that they gain from this, so that’s why they’re keeping it a secret."
The elders surely wouldn’t let themselves suffer a loss by doing this.
