"Is this really the place?" Han Ba asked in a voice filled with doubt.
Lin Fan didn't say anything as he looked around the area, but the look in his eyes made it seem like he was thinking the sa thing as Han Ba.
After all, there really wasn't much that was here.
The information that one guard gave them wasn't really reliable information to begin with. The information that they received was nothing more than a rumour that was backed by the personal experience of the guard.
It was just that they didn't really have anything else to go on.

"The Appraisal Eyes just aren't finding anything at all…" Lin Fan thought to himself with a disappointed feeling.
He thought that he would at least be able to find a clue or two with his Appraisal Eyes, but there really wasn't a single trace in this place.
"Then again, it isn't as if it would be that easy to find. If it was that easy, then soone would have found it already."
"Let's go and look around the area." Lin Fan said all of a sudden.
Han Ba was surprised to hear this at first, but then he couldn't help feeling a bit disappointed. Though in the end, he didn't say anything as he followed Lin Fan around.
The look on his face made it clear that he didn't want to keep looking around this place since he didn't think anything was here, but he still followed Lin Fan since he trusted him.
Though it didn't take long for them to find sothing.
However, it wasn't what they had been expecting to find.
"Young master, it's just right over here."
"Alright, lead the way."
The way that this group spoke and their composition made it seem like they were a young master's group that were just out for fun. However, both Lin Fan and Han Ba were able to see that this wasn't the case.
Lin Fan could easily see through the items that they possessed with his Appraisal Eyes.
Though in Han Ba's case, it wasn't sothing that he could see or sense about them.
In Han Ba's case, it was his intuition that told him that these people weren't that simple.
But then again, Han Ba's intuition was usually correct in cases like this.
He had a kind of sixth sense when it ca to things like this.
With both of them certain that this group wasn't normal, it wasn't hard for them to figure out what this group really was. At the sa ti, it wasn't hard for them to co to a decision to change their plans as soon as they realized this.
"Follow them."
Han Ba nodded in agreent when Lin Fan said this.
Though this group wasn't normal, it wasn't as if Lin Fan and Han Ba were normal either. With the thods that they possessed, this group wasn't able to notice that these two were following them at all.
After following this group for a while, they found that this group suddenly ca to a stop.
The one that had been leading them looked around as if they were being wary about sothing.
Once they had finished looking around the area, the way that they spoke changed, "Senior Brother, it should be in this place."
"Even if you say that, where is it, Junior Brother?"
The one that was called junior brother had an awkward look on his face as he turned to look around again, but it didn't seem like he was able to find anything.
His senior brother didn't seem mad that he wasn't able to find anything.
Instead, the senior brother just said with a sigh, "This is your problem. You always find sothing that you get stuck on and then don't think things through."
The junior brother revealed another awkward look when he heard this, but he didn't go back on what he said as he continued looking around the area.
So in the end, the senior brother changed his tone as he said, "Tell again what you heard."
The junior brother gave a nod before he started to speak.
Lin Fan and Han Ba focused when this junior brother spoke, but the two of them soon had disappointed looks on their faces. After all, what the junior brother said wasn't much better than the information that they obtained.
It was actually the sa information.
The information that Lin Fan and Han Ba had gotten from the guard was that there was this strange creature that appeared in this place. It seed like it was so kind of creature that was made purely of energy that appeared in this place.
What they were all looking for was a thing that was filled with pure elental energy, so a creature like that would be a sign of sothing like that being here. That was why they had all co here in hopes of finding sothing.
It was just that in the end, they were disappointed since there was nothing like that here.
"Do you know how rare it would be to find sothing like that? Even if they were lucky enough to see it once, do you really think that it would happen again? That kind of phenonon only happens when the pure elental energy leaks out." The senior brother didn't seem to hold back at all when it ca to scolding his junior brother.
It seed that while he was doing this, he lost control of himself for a mont and said so things that he shouldn't have said.
That confird that they were here looking for the sa thing as Lin Fan and Han Ba.
Since they didn't recognize these people, it ant that they weren't from the Heavenly Demon Sect.
Lin Fan and Han Ba knew that there were other core disciples that had been sent, but the two of them couldn't be more familiar with the core disciples since they had interactions with more core disciples.
That ant that this group was from one of the righteous sects.
"Enough of that." One of the girls suddenly said this which made the senior brother and junior brother fall silent.
This girl was one of the girls that had been cozying up with the senior brother before this, but now there was a completely different feel to her. She had gone from one of the lackeys to the leader of this group.
The two of them looked like they wanted to say sothing before the senior brother said, "Senior sister, we…"
The girl that had been called senior sister just raised her hand before saying, "There's no telling who could be lurking around here."
Han Ba couldn't help slightly knitting his brows when he heard this, but Lin Fan grabbed him by the shoulder to calm him down and prevent him from going out.
After all, Lin Fan knew that this senior sister wasn't referring to him.
"So it seems like you noticed us."
There was a group of swordsn that suddenly ca out from the trees.
Lin Fan had noticed them as soon as they approached, but he didn't say anything since he didn't know what they wanted. He had been waiting to see if they would do anything to this other group.
Though now that they ca out, it didn't seem like they were going to do anything.
It didn't seem like the two groups had a good relationship with each other, but at least it didn't seem like they were about to start fighting.
These swordsn had to be from the Mount Hua Sword Sect.
Even though they were undercover, they didn't hide the fact that they were swordsn at all.
If Lin Fan had to guess, the group that they had been following before this was most likely from the Kunlun Sect since he could see traces of spells around them.
As expected, there really were mbers of the righteous sects that were here.
Though they certainly were inferior to core disciples of the Heavenly Demon Sect based on the aura that they gave off.
Since they wouldn't be hard to deal with, it didn't matter if they changed their plan a bit and followed them to see what they were up to.
It would be easy for Lin Fan and Han Ba to deal with them after all.
