This wasn’t the truth, but it was the truth for the identity that had been arranged for him.

When they heard this, the eyes of the Highoaks lit up. However, they knew how to control their emotions and quickly cald themselves.
It wasn’t hard for Lin Fan to guess what their next words would be, but he stopped them before they could say anything.

There was a trace of disappointnt that appeared in their eyes when they heard this, but that also quickly disappeared.
In fact, the professionalism that these people had really was sothing else as Daniel said, "Eliza, that’s enough of that. You can leave now."
Eliza didn’t mind the way that her husband talked to her at all and left the room after a simple farewell.
Once she was gone, Daniel said with a friendly smile, "I’m sorry about that. Sotis she gets a bit too excited and forgets herself. I hope that you don’t mind her."
Lin Fan was a bit taken aback since he didn’t expect Daniel to say sothing like this about his own wife. But it was clear that these people only cared about profits like rchants, which was why there was no hesitation in his voice when he said this.
It seed that he had to brace himself once more to deal with these people.
After taking a few seconds to calm himself, Lin Fan said, "I don’t mind this at all. Rather, I’m just hoping that I can see the products as soon as possible."
As soon as he heard this, Daniel stood up with the sa smile on his face as if he didn’t mind how Lin Fan was pushing things forward.
Gesturing with one hand, he said, "Then shall we go and have a look?"
Lin Fan stood up and followed with a simple nod.
Though his attitude seed positive, it actually took them a while to reach the workshop where the products were. Along the way, it seed like Daniel was very interested in explaining all of the different paintings that were hung up in the corridor.
Lin Fan would have rushed him, but he didn’t want to seem impatient.
However, the fact that these paintings that he was talking about was related to the past of the Highoak Family did have a sway on this.
It was his task to learn more about the Highoak Family, so any information that he could get was useful information.
Only when he arrived at the workshop, it beca quite obvious why they had been stalling the entire ti.
There was an acquaintance that he hadn’t seen yet on this trip to the Highoak Family Manor.
The way that she was acting was as if she was just working a normal job, but the clothes that she was wearing told a completely different story. It was obvious what she was doing here.
Once she saw them open the door, there was a wide smile that appeared on her face as she ca over to greet Lin Fan.
Of course this person was Penelope Highoak who had shown interest in Lin Fan previously.
It seed that the Highoak Family really didn’t miss a single beat.
As long as there was an opportunity for them to gain sothing, they would do all that they could to seize that opportunity.
Lin Fan just humoured her a bit before saying, "So, where are the products that you were planning on showing ."
The smile on Penelope’s face twitched for a second, but she was still able to keep that smile on her face in the end.
The way that she looked at Lin Fan was as if she was wondering if there was sothing wrong with him.
It wasn’t that she wasn’t pretty, it was just that compared to certain other girls in Lin Fan’s life, she just couldn’t compare. At the sa ti, it wasn’t as if Lin Fan was here to pick up girls.
So in the end, Daniel ca forward and sent Penelope back with a look before gesturing towards a door in front of them, "Sir Ralot, please co this way. We store our finished products here."
Lin Fan just gave a nod before following Daniel.
The others remained behind since they could see that the family head wanted to talk to the guest alone.
Though as they were heading towards that door, Lin Fan could hear a few whispers behind him. They thought that they were being silent, but they just couldn’t escape Lin Fan’s sharp hearing.
"Is there sothing wrong with him? I’ve already done everything that I can to seduce him."
"It’s because you’re not charming enough, do you not even get that?"
Of course, Lin Fan would never say this out loud.
After they entered the room, Lin Fan’s attention was completely taken by what was in front of him.
The mont that he entered the room, he imdiately felt the sa sensation that he had felt at the gate.
It was clear that all of these arrays in this room were made of the sa special technique. That ant that there was a better chance of him discovering what the special technique was.

Seeing that he was silent the entire ti, Daniel couldn’t help asking, "Is sothing wrong?"
Lin Fan snapped back from his thoughts when he heard this before looking up at him with a smile and saying, "It’s just that I’ve never seen arrays like this before, so I couldn’t help being caught up in them."
A smile appeared on Daniel’s face when he heard this before he said in a proud voice, "Our Highoak Family prides ourselves on our arrays. If there wasn’t sothing special about them, then how could we take pride in them?"
Then changing his tone, he said, "I’m sure that we’ll satisfy whatever needs Sir Ralot has."
There was a certain implication in his voice that Lin Fan didn’t miss.
Lin Fan didn’t answer right away when he heard this and instead just calmly looked at Daniel.
Seeing this, Daniel just looked right back at Lin Fan with a calm smile on his face as if he wasn’t bothered by this at all. At the sa ti, there was a confident look in his eyes as if he was saying that he could handle anything that was thrown at him.
After a long silence, Lin Fan finally said, "I do have so things that I can use your help with."
A wide smile appeared on Daniel’s face before he said, "We will do our best not to disappoint."
The way that he replied was as if he was just waiting for Lin Fan to make the first move.
This was his way of maintaining the edge in negotiations since he would have the initiative from letting Lin Fan make a move first.
Lin Fan knew what he was doing, which was why he didn’t say what it was that he needed.
Though it wasn’t as if it was a problem to let this initiative go.
In the first place, the plan was to make a deal with the Highoaks and then use that as a chance to investigate the Highoak Family. So it really didn’t matter how the negotiations went since it wasn’t as if there would be an actual deal.
It was just that Lin Fan had hoped that he would have been able to figure sothing out with his powers before that ca to pass.
Still, he had to play his role properly.
After going back and forth like this for a bit, Lin Fan finally said, "There are a few arrays that I need from you. I wonder if I can consult with you on how viable it would be to create these arrays for ."
Daniel’s smile widened when he heard this before he said, "Of course, it is our Highoak Family’s honour to serve."
As soon as he said this, he went over to one of the tables and took out so pen and paper before saying, "Please tell what kind of things you need from us."
The Highoaks really were an established rchant family with how they acted.
