It wasn’t just Lin Fan and Ye Qing Huan that wandered off like this.
There were many that ford smaller groups to explore.
These were the groups that they had been in previously, but they had moved away from those groups when the elders arrived. Now that the elders showed that they wouldn’t interfere in what they did, it was only natural that they drifted back into those groups.
However, they also knew which group belonged to which sect now.
When the elders appeared, the different sects had grouped up together and they had been identified.
Since there were four righteous sects and one demonic sect, it only made sense that the demonic sect would be targeted by the righteous sect. They wouldn’t let a demonic sect take away the inheritance of a righteous sect like the Dao Sect that easily.
Lin Fan and Ye Qing Huan also had a few followers, though they weren’t worried about these righteous sect disciples following them.
In the first place, Ye Qing Huan easily kept her eye on them.
They just couldn’t hide from them no matter how hard they tried.
Lin Fan only had his attention on one thing while they walked away from the gathering spot. He had been looking at the map the entire ti as if he was trying to figure sothing out.
From ti to ti, he did look around as if he was matching the surroundings to the map.
After they walked around for a bit, that was when Lin Fan finally said to Ye Qing Huan, "You can take care of them now."
Once Ye Qing Huan received this signal from Lin Fan, she didn’t waste any ti. She just gave a simple nod before there were three groups that suddenly appeared around them.
The looks on their faces showed that it wasn’t their choice to show themselves now, they had been forced out by sothing that Ye Qing Huan had done.
But now that they were out, it wasn’t as if they were just going to give up.
Since they had been forced out like this, the only thing that they could do was go all out.
The three groups even looked at each other and seed to co to so kind of agreent with how they nodded at each other. Then all of a sudden, they all released attacks in Lin Fan and Ye Qing Huan’s direction.
With how they moved, it was as if they had coordinated beforehand.
But that was only in the eyes of a layman.
In the eyes of an expert like Ye Qing Huan, she could easily see the flaws in their formation.
They were just winging it since they had no other choice but to cooperate with each other, but it was hard for them to actually work with each other since they were from three different sects.
At the very least, they knew how to position themselves to make the most of their abilities.
It was a group from the Buddhist Sect, a group from the Mount Ei Sect, and a group from the Mount Hua Sword Sect.
Since they were Buddhists, they were famous for their defense as they stood forward with their golden bodies. But in the end, that didn’t matter to Ye Qing Huan since she far outclassed them.
All it took was a single slap from Ye Qing Huan to break through all of the golden bodies that they had been so proud of.
"Oof."
There was even this unbecoming sound that ca out of the mouth of these Buddhist monks when they were knocked out with the force of that single slap. Not a single one of them was able to recover after being knocked out like this.
With the way that their eyes rolled back in their sockets, it really seed like they would be unconscious until the very end of this exploration.
Seeing this, the others started to panic.
They knew that they weren’t a match for Ye Qing Huan.
In fact, they knew that they were completely outclassed by her.
The way that she shattered the defenses of the monks, it showed that she could easily break them as well. If she were to lay her hands on them, there really wasn’t anything that they could do.
It was just that this wasn’t the ti or place for them to bow their heads.
So that was why the two different groups started spreading out in different directions. They were gambling on Ye Qing Huan not being able to chase them down so that they would be able to escape.

The mont that they released their attacks at Ye Qing Huan as a distraction and turned to run, they found that there was sothing that appeared behind them. No matter how they tried to run from this thing, they just couldn’t run at all.
These things seed persistent in chasing them down and making sure that they couldn’t run.
However, the worst part of it all was the fact that they couldn’t harm these things.
They released their attacks, but all of their attacks just went right through these things attacking them.
Then when these things attacked them, it felt like there was this chill that was running through their bodies. There were even traces of frost that was left behind on the places where they made contact with these things.
Lin Fan took a look up when he heard this and he recognized these things imdiately.
"The wraiths, huh? It’s been a while since I’ve seen them."
He was only a bit impressed before he turned back to the map.
The wraiths that Ye Qing Huan summoned were much more powerful compared to the ones that she had summoned in the past. Now, they were even able to fight with the core disciples of the righteous sects without a problem.
Though if they were to face the elders of the righteous sects, it wasn’t as if they would win.
So it was only slightly impressive that they had increased in strength like this.
Not to ntion that this was just a technique that Ye Qing Huan had learned in her spare ti. It wasn’t as if this was Ye Qing Huan’s main cultivation technique to begin with.
Once they were attacked by the wraiths enough, they found that they couldn’t move at all.
The disciples of the righteous sects were covered in frost and looked like they were about to be turned into ice statues.
"You can’t do this! If you kill us, aren’t you afraid of what will happen?"
"Who said anything about killing?" Ye Qing Huan said in a teasing voice that sent a chill down their spines.
Once they heard this, the disciples of the righteous sects knew that they had been dancing in the palm of Ye Qing Huan’s hands the entire ti. She had been doing nothing but playing around with them.
As for the reason...
"Rustle, rustle."
There were a few more groups that had been hiding in the distance.
Ye Qing Huan naturally knew about them as well since she had found these three groups. It was just that she had no intentions of taking care of them since she was using them to spread information.
These three groups were the ones that would be made a demonstration of.
The realization of this seed to have crushed their entire will to fight as they fell silent.
Ye Qing Huan didn’t bother playing with them anymore once they were like this and waved her hand to let the wraiths finish them off. Once the wraiths ran through them once more, they were completely frozen in ice.
However, it wasn’t as if they were frozen to the core.

After she finished them off, Ye Qing Huan turned back to walk to Lin Fan’s side.
Seeing this, he asked, "Did you scatter them all?"
Ye Qing Huan gave a simple nod in response.
He wasn’t just asking about the three groups that she had taken care of just now, he was talking about the rest of the groups that had run off when Ye Qing Huan allowed them to leave.
What they had done was nothing more than a show of power to make the others think twice about chasing after them.
It was effective in repelling the weak ones, but the stronger ones might be attracted to fighting them. Though that was only after they found sothing that they could bring back with them.
With the map, Lin Fan was confident that there wouldn’t be anything left for them.
Ye Qing Huan asked another question instead of answering his question, "Did you figure it out yet?"
Lin Fan also gave a simple nod in response.
During the ti that Ye Qing Huan had been taking care of those that followed them, he had been carefully observing the general layout of the Dao Sect ruins.
After all, there were several marks on the map for this part of the Dao Sect ruins and he was planning on hitting them all since they had been told to ’go wild’.
For that, he had been scoping out the general layout of this place just so he could create the best route.
