Once Huang Xie's voice fell, he imdiately stepped forward towards the mbers of the Huang Family.
When he did this, the mbers of the Huang Family could tell that sothing was off.
The way that he walked towards them…it didn't seem right to them.
The closer that he ca, the more that it felt wrong to them.
So they couldn't help taking a step back as so of them started to question him.
"What are you doing?"
"Why are you coming over here like that?"
"You should take care of the enemies of our family, they're over there!"
They tried to get Huang Xie to take care of their problems, they even reached a point where they thought that they could order him around. It was just the desperation that made them completely lose their minds to do sothing as dumb as this.
But they didn't care at all.
Finally, the current head of the Huang Family spoke by saying, "You're my son, you should listen to . Where is your filial piety?!"
Huang Xie started laughing when he heard this before saying, "Did you ever treat like your son? If you have, then I've never experienced it. If you still consider a son, then that's too bad since I don't consider you my father."
"How dare you say that!" The current head of the Huang Family roared out before pointing his finger at Huang Xie to say, "If it wasn't for , you wouldn't even be in this world! How can you talk to your father like that!"
At this point, he realized that there was nothing that he could do by trying to convince Huang Xie nicely.
The only way that he could get him to do what he wanted was to use force.
In that case, he would pressure him by calling him an unfilial son.

Before anyone from the Huang Family could even react, he already appeared in front of them.
The ones that had weaker wills couldn't take this, so they suddenly swung out their weapons and attacked Huang Xie.
"You idiots!" The current head of the Huang Family shouted, but it was already too late.
All it took was a single hand for Huang Xie to stop these attacks and send them back at them. There was nothing that these mbers of the Huang Family could do when their attacks were sent right back at them.
To their surprise, the attacks were even stronger than when they released them, so there was nothing that they could do to block it.
All of them were knocked to the ground and were injured by these attacks.
"If you want to live, then you better co at like your life depends on it. Or else you all know what is going to happen." Huang Xie said in a cold voice.
All of the mbers of the Huang Family had ugly expressions on their faces when they heard this.
The short cloaked figure had been watching this happen, but after a while, he seed like he was bored of this.
With a single step, he disappeared from where he was standing.
Lin Fan also stepped off and disappeared from this place.
The last hope of the Huang Family disappeared and all they could do was face Huang Xie or…
"Run!" The current head of the Huang Family shouted as he turned to run.
The ancestor of the Huang Family did the sa thing as soon as the short cloaked figure disappeared since the pressure that had been on him was now gone.
The only thing that they seed to care about were their own lives.
The rest of the Huang Family just couldn't react in ti to this as they were completely caught off guard by how fast the two of them moved. In the end, they also did the sa thing as the two of them where they abandoned everything and turned to run.
While running, there were so of them that gave orders to the guards.
"Stall him!"
"Sacrifice your lives for us!"
"Do whatever it takes to block him!"
They were just forcing these guards to kill themselves to stop Huang Xie in his tracks, but it wasn't as if these guards wanted to die for them at this point.
They could already see that the prestigious Huang Family had fallen, so the only thing that they could do now was…
"We surrender."
The captain of the guards said this while dropping his weapon and then he looked at the others to do the sa. When the other guards saw this, they quickly followed their captain and dropped their weapons as well before raising their hands in surrender.
The mbers of the Huang Family cursed the guards when they saw this, but none of the guards cared about this.
What they cared about was Huang Xie's reaction to their surrender.
Huang Xie just gave a simple nod of acknowledgent to the captain of the guard before he started chasing after the mbers of the Huang Family.
In the first place, all he cared about was dealing with the Huang Family.
These guards were nothing more than guards that were hired by the Huang Family, they weren't that high up on his list of priorities. Not to ntion that the Huang Family had betrayed the Mu Empire, so the Mu Empire would take care of them.
Right now, all he had to do was take care of the ones that he wanted to take revenge on the most.
The rest could be handled by the Mu Empire.

"Boom."
There was a loud sound that rang out as a small cloaked figure slamd into the ground.
After a mont, that small cloaked figure slowly stood up, but the way that he stood up was as if he found it hard to stand. It was as if there was sothing that was pushing him into the ground, not letting him stand up.
"What did you do?" The scratchy voice rang out, asking the person in front of him this question.
Lin Fan just calmly said, "I just want to talk so I stopped you for a bit."
"Stopped for a bit? What is this strange power that you're using?" The small cloaked figure wasn't convinced at all.
Lin Fan just changed the topic by asking, "So what is the Wu Empire planning by inciting betrayal in the Mu Empire? Are you trying to start a coup and then take down the Mu Royal Family? Or is there sothing else that you were trying to accomplish through the Huang Family?"
"Ha, ha, ha, do you think that I would actually tell you?" The small cloaked figure asked back instead of answering the question.
Lin Fan gave a nod before saying, "I already expected as much, I was just hoping that you would recognize the situation that you're in and would act more intelligently." Enjoy new adventures from empire
With a snap of his fingers, there was a ring of black flas that appeared around the short cloaked figure.
The short cloaked figure didn't react to this ring of black flas as he continued staring at Lin Fan. The way that he stared at him was almost as if he was trying to figure out just who Lin Fan was, though there was no way to be sure since his face was covered with the cloak he wore.
Finally, the small cloaked figure asked, "Just who are you? Why are you doing all of this for the Mu Empire when you know that there's no future for them?"
Lin Fan gave a shrug before saying, "Who knows? But isn't it a bit too early to say that the Mu Empire has no future at all?"
"Ha, ha, ha, you know in your heart whether those words are true or not." The cloaked figure kept laughing for a while before finally stopping to say in a serious voice, "You should already know the difference between the Wu Empire and the Mu Empire. The Five Great Sects are backing the Wu Empire while the Mu Empire has nothing. It's only a matter of ti before the Wu Empire swallows the Mu Empire."
After hearing this, Lin Fan just gave a simple nod as if he was acknowledging this and then he said, "You're right about the fact that the Wu Empire does pose a serious threat to the Mu Empire."
"Then you'll consider changing sides?" The small cloaked figure asked.
Lin Fan calmly shook his head in response before saying, "But what makes you think that the Mu Empire will be that easy to take down? Do you really think that the Mu Empire has nothing at all?"
As soon as his voice fell, there was a loud sound that ca from the distance.
