The bay doors of the "Odyssey" opened slowly.
A red Steel Giant leaped from the Floating Ship. Its fifteen-ter-tall body slamd heavily onto the scorched black rock by the lava lake, kicking up a huge cloud of dust.
The Odyssey carried Allen to a position above the First Golem Legion’s encampnt, three kiloters from the lava lake, where he observed everything through a holographic projection.
"Jarvis, monitor all systems. Transmit all of PX-2’s operational data in real ti."
[Data link established. All of PX-2’s sensors are functioning normally.]
The Fla Devil glanced around, then strode without hesitation toward the dark red lake of bubbling lava.
On the shore, a few Molten Core Lizards raised their heads, having noticed the towering intruder.
They lay on the scorching black rock, low growls rumbling in their throats.
PX-2 ignored them and walked straight to the lake’s edge.
"Begin the dive," Allen ordered.
The Steel Giant lifted its foot and stepped into the lava.
HISS—
The searing lava instantly subrged its ankles. The dark red liquid flowed over the armor’s surface but was unable to cause any damage to the "Molten-Fire Titanium Alloy."
[Depth: 1 ter. External temperature: 1,850 degrees. Armor integrity: 100%. Volcano Engine conversion efficiency: 35%.]
PX-2 continued its descent.
The lava gradually rose past its knees, its waist, its chest...
[Depth: 5 ters. External temperature: 1,920 degrees. Volcano Engine conversion efficiency: 68%.]
[Depth: 20 ters. External temperature: 2,100 degrees. Volcano Engine conversion efficiency: 85%!)
A hint of fluctuation entered Jarvis’s voice.
[Energy reserves climbing rapidly. Current storage: 12%... 13%... 15%... Exceeding design specifications.]
Allen stared at the rapidly rising energy curve, a fiery glint in his eyes.
"Well, I’ll be. It’s feasting! Its appetite is even bigger than I imagined."
The Volcano Engine’s Rune Array flashed wildly, greedily devouring the surrounding high-concentration Fire Elental Magic Power and converting it into standard Magic Power for storage.
This conversion efficiency was three tis that of a Singularity Engine in a conventional environnt!
"Continue the dive. Target depth: 50 ters."
PX-2’s figure vanished completely into the lava, leaving only a trail of rising bubbles.
However, just as it reached a depth of 30 ters—

On the screen, three dark red shadows slid silently from the black rock on the shore into the lava, lunging toward the subrged PX-2 at astonishing speed.
It was the sa Molten Core Lizards that had been lazing about earlier.
They were like fish in water in the lava, their powerful limbs creating dark red waves as they swam.
"Fla Devil, you are cleared to engage."
[Acknowledged.]
PX-2’s eyes suddenly flared to life.
Just then, the first lizard attacked, opening its gaping maw to reveal a mouthful of sharp teeth as it bit viciously at PX-2’s neck.
The Steel Giant snapped up its right arm.
The "Titan’s Fist" power gauntlet activated instantly, unleashing terrifying power in a single mont!
BOOM—!
The fist smashed squarely into the lizard’s head.
The head, as large as a water tank, exploded under the force of the punch, its dark red blood and brains churning into the lava.
The headless corpse’s montum carried it into PX-2’s body before it sank limply into the depths.
[Target one: Eliminated.]
The second lizard attacked from the side, trying to rip through PX-2’s armor with its sharp claws.
PX-2 drew the "High-Frequency Vibration Spear" from its back.
The eighteen-ter-long giant spear carved an arc through the lava, its tip vibrating at high speed and parting the surrounding magma.
SQUELCH—
The spear precisely pierced the lizard’s back and erged from its stomach.
The Molten Core Lizard let out a piercing shriek, its limbs flailing wildly, but the spear held it fast.
Scalding lava poured into its body through the wound. The lizard’s struggles grew weaker until all signs of life vanished.
[Target two: Eliminated.]
The third lizard, seeing that things were going badly, turned to flee.
’Trying to run?’
PX-2 yanked out the spear, flung the corpse off it, and its body suddenly accelerated through the lava.
The Anti-Gravity Rune Array operated at full power, minimizing the drag on its massive body in the lava.
The Steel Giant shot through the dark red world like a torpedo.
In less than three seconds, it caught up to the fleeing lizard.
The spear thrust out again.
This ti, the tip pierced straight through the back of the lizard’s head, killing it in the lava lake.
The fight was completely one-sided!

Allen stared at the data, silent for a few seconds.
"So, in other words..."
"As long as the combat intensity doesn’t exceed the Volcano Engine’s conversion limit, PX-2 is a perpetual motion machine in the lava."
[Theoretically, that is correct.]
Jarvis’s voice seed to hold a trace of joy as well. [More importantly, the AT Field can be kept active continuously without fear of rapidly depleting Magic Power. This ans PX-2 possesses sustained defensive capabilities in a lava environnt.]
And the Fla Devil hadn’t even activated its AT Field during that last fight.
The corner of Allen’s mouth curved into a smirk.
"Continue clearing out any Magical Beasts along the way. I want to see what else this lake has to offer."
[Order received.]
For the next half hour, PX-2 was like a tiger let loose in a flock of sheep.
Every Molten Core Lizard that dared to approach was, without exception, torn to pieces.
So Fire Elental Creatures tried to fight back, but their high-temperature attacks, which they took pride in, were nothing more than a "free recharge" for PX-2.

Allen watched the constantly refreshing battle reports and nodded in satisfaction.
