The Magic Power fluctuations around him suddenly beca dangerous and strange. A thick, black mist surged out from beneath his wide black robes as if it were alive, quickly enveloping his entire body.
His eyes lit up within the black mist. In an instant, his pupils elongated and sharpened, turning into the vertical slits of a raptor!
The next mont, his body exploded apart, transforming into a sky-full of black mist and completely losing its physical form.
The black mist, as if it had a life of its own, condensed in the air into the giant, illusory image of a black crow with a wingspan of over ten ters.
This was one of his Core Witchcrafts as a Contract School Wizard—[Ability Sharing].
Back in his Advanced Apprentice days, he had exhausted all his efforts to sign a contract with an ultra-rare Magical Beast called a "Shadow Crow."

Grock let out a desperate roar.
His pack of Rock Armor Earth Dragons was completely tied up by those damn steel spiders and heavy Golems. There was no way for them to break through the defensive line and rescue him in ti.
In his haste, he fumbled for a Protective Talisman in his robes that was glowing with an earthy-yellow halo and frantically poured his remaining Magic Power into it.

A thick Magic Shield instantly ford in front of him.
However, this hastily activated shield was still no match for the fifteen-ter-long Ship-Slicing Blade.

Without the slightest pause, the high-frequency vibrating blade easily sliced through the shield, and then... through Grock’s body.
From head to toe, he was split in two.
Blood and viscera splattered across the ground.

At the warehouse entrance, Victor’s mouth hung open. He stared blankly at the scene before him, his mind a complete void.

From the mont the Black Wizard revealed his trump card to the mont he was sliced in two, the entire process took less than ten seconds.
’This cautious and cunning Second-level Wizard, with his ability to turn into mist, just died like that?’
He whipped his head around to look at Allen, his eyes filled with shock and disbelief.
’What kind of Witchcraft was that? The one he learned from his ntor?’
