Chapter 228: Getting Rid of a Burden
Bolton Lands, Dreadfort Castle
POV of Doric Bolton
An hour later.
Doric lay naked on the bed, a smiling Ygritte in his arms.
"That was amazing," Ygritte murmured as she buried her head deeper in the crook of his neck.
"Hmm..." he murmured as his right hand massaged her bum and reached inside her arse cheeks to rub her rosebud now and then.
She squird on his chest, but then took his roaming hand and put it between her soft twin peaks.
She had beco even more shapely ever since he perford the body-enhancing ritual on her. And sex between them had never been better.
"No." She said and took the finger in her mouth, sucking on it slowly but sensually.
"Your thod really did clean it properly." She said after a few monts, and he pulled her up so that her face was lined with his own, and his flaccid cock was rubbing her clit.
He felt the urge to get hard and let her ride him once again, but knew that the excess of anything was bad.
Even sex.
He kissed her forehead and then went down to her eyebrows, her eyes, her cheeks, and then her lips.
They separated, and in her eyes, he saw only love and devotion.
"I’m not from this world, Ygritte." The words ca out of his mouth before he could think about it. But once they did, he realized that he did not regret saying that. He didn’t want to hide things from her any longer. Not after all the happiness, trust, and love she has given him.
Her eyebrows scrunched up in confusion. "What do you an, Dom?"
"I’m saying that before this life. I lived in another place. Another world that was different from this one." He said, "A world where there were four seasons in a year, sothing that never changed. A world different from this one. A world where other magical people like existed."
"So... are you saying that you aren’t Doric Bolton?" she asked as she got up from his chest and looked at him with a serious gaze.
"I am and am not Doric Bolton." He replied, trying not to let his gaze wander over her naked flesh. "When I died in that other world, my soul entered so dangerous place. Then one of the Old Gods saved my soul, brought to this world and to the body of a 7-year-old Doric Bolton, whose soul had just left his body due to a horse-riding accident."
"So..." Ygritte said, looking a little confused about this whole matter that he had suddenly dumped on top of her. He allowed her to take her ti. "... What was your na in that world?"
"Harry." He told her, "Harry Jas Potter. Son of Lily and Jas Potter."
"Hımm..." She said, "I guess a lot of things make sense now. Information that no one else has. Strange ideas and nas.... Do you miss them, your parents?"
"You believe ?" he asked back.
"I don’t think you’ll lie to about sothing like this." She said, giving him a smirk. "Besides, your eyes are telling the truth."
"My eyes?"
"Yeah. You usually never lie to anyone, only speaking half-truths. But when you do lie, your eyes beco a little cold. A little... less emotional."
Huh... Doric didn’t know that Occluncy had such an effect on his eyes. How had he never noticed before?
After a while, he answered her, "Yes. I do miss my parents, but I never had the chance to know them." He said, "They were killed by a madman when I was a re child. My father stayed behind to stall him and give my mother and ti to escape. And my mother... she died protecting from him."
"She must be quite a woman. n should protect their families. After all, it’s their duty. But not every woman has that courage. Only the warriors among them have it." Ygritte said, and he nodded. "My teachers told that she was a brilliant witch."
"Witch... Is that what you call your won with magic?" she asked, and he nodded again.
"Hmm... and could she do magic like you?"
"Yes. Though she relied mostly on charms, while I’m more of a runes, enchantnt, and dark spells kind of guy."
Ygritte didn’t understand what he was saying. He could see that in her eyes, but she nodded nevertheless.
"Tell more about your past life, Harry Jamie Potter."
"Jas..." he laughed, and then he started telling her the story of his life.
They talked until early in the morning, until they both beca too tired to continue, and she fell asleep in his arms.
And as he looked at her serene expression and closed his eyes, he felt that he had pulled a heavy load from his chest by sharing the truth with her.
After all, he would have to share them with her one day anyway. If he truly planned to live a life with Ygritte, it was inevitable.
One day, when they had children, their children would be wizards or witches like Doric. Doric knew this well because there was no other option. A wizard’s or witch’s children would always be magical. In the worst-case scenario, they could be born as squibs, but soone with a magical parent couldn’t be born a Muggle.
And even if Doric’s children were born as squibs, that wouldn’t matter to him, because he now knew how to create magical cores.
Magical cores didn’t work on muggles, but Doric knew they would work on squibs. Because, unlike Muggles, squibs could see hidden places like Hogwarts and the Leaky Cauldron.
They simply lacked enough magic in their bodies to use it, and magical cores were the perfect solution for that.
And when Doric began teaching his children magic in the future, Ygritte would start to realize the things Doric had kept hidden from her.
Magical subjects, educational systems, stories from the past... Doric didn’t think he could keep everything a secret from his children’s mother for long, even if he wanted to.
That’s why he was happy to be relieved of this burden early.
In fact, if possible, he wanted to create a Pensive. Then he could copy and preserve his past-life mories for his children’s education. This way, if anything were to happen to him, Ygritte could ensure their children beca trained wizards and witches.
But that was a topic for another ti.
And later on, he would have to warn Ygritte against sharing the truth with others, mainly because he didn’t want his aunt to know. Not yet, at least. She was the only mother figure he’d ever had in his life. In both his lives.
And he didn’t want her to hate him once she found out he wasn’t really her nephew but soone else in his body.
Still, despite everything, he felt that he didn’t regret telling the truth to Ygritte one bit.
And with those thoughts, he fell asleep as well.
