At noon, Locke arrived at the White Dragon Tower's library. Unlike when he first entered the Plutarch family and no one paid attention to him, at this mont, his status in the Plutarch family was as soone close to Alicia. So many students, and even official wizard instructors from the White Dragon Magic Gem University, nodded and greeted him.
The library in the Land of Six Towers didn't use a point system, aning it didn't require contribution points, but rather used a permission system.
Students or wizards with high status had higher permissions, while students or wizards with low status only had the lowest permissions.
Permissions ranged from high to low, from level one to level seven.
Locke even saw an ordinary official wizard sitting quietly in a corner of the library. He seed to be of commoner origin, not a wizard from the Plutarch family or its affiliated families. He had beco an official wizard purely through talent and so luck, so he actually only had level 4 permissions.
This ant he could barely access any valuable books. He could only sit pitifully in the corner with three apprentice-level reference materials placed in front of him, sitting at a desk by himself with nothing to do.
Locke glanced at the badge on his chest and discovered this guy was actually just a teaching assistant.
As Locke scanned around, he absurdly discovered that so wizard instructors at the White Dragon Magic Gem University were actually only first-class wizard apprentices.
This was simply an absurd and ridiculous thing.
It could be said to be a rare spectacle within wizard civilization.
A First Circle wizard serving as a teaching assistant, a first-class wizard apprentice serving as an official wizard instructor, just because one was a commoner wizard and the other was a direct family wizard of the Plutarch family.
A direct Plutarch family wizard, who according to blood relations could be considered a distant relative of Alicia, wore a badge on his chest representing his position as a wizard instructor at the White Dragon Magic Gem University. He was also the director inside the library.
The White Dragon Library Director saluted Locke. He practically treated Locke as soone close to Alicia and had heard about how Locke clashed with Lord Eric, with Lord Eric suffering losses several tis.
This further solidified this library director's view of Locke. He ingratiatingly said to Locke, "Lord Augustine, hmm? This is... hahaha, you possess the White Dragon Ring and even our Plutarch family's Scorpion Woman Ring. This represents that you are the most distinguished guest of our Plutarch family."
"You have level 2 permissions, which ans that except for our Plutarch family's most core secret knowledge, you can access all other books and literature."
"May I ask what books you wish to access?"
"How may I serve you?"
Locke nodded and said, "Director, I need so information about the Cloud Marsh Cup competition."
This library director's eyes flashed with confusion. He clearly hadn't heard anything about what the Cloud Marsh Cup was.
But the Cloud Marsh Cup absolutely couldn't be so secret knowledge that very few people knew about.
The other party didn't know simply because of one reason: unlike those dwarf general knowledge scholars at Lilith's Cottage who made reading books their lifelong goal, these library directors in the Land of Six Towers were all family wizards holding positions without doing real work. Therefore, the Cloud Abyss was also called Cloud Lake.
Locke looked at the terrain map of Cloud Lake in the book. No matter how he looked at it, for so reason, he felt this Cloud Lake looked like the shape of an eye.
Below Cloud Lake was a bottomless pit. In the crevices of the pit's walls lived many creatures. It was a natural sanctuary and also a garbage disposal site for failed experints from Cloud Marsh Wetland.
Among them was a group called [kani People], prosthetic synthetic humans who had escaped from a Necromancy School prosthetic synthesis laboratory in the past thirty years. They were currently developing and growing there, damaging part of the white wizards' economy.
Locke quickly flipped through the materials. "The kani People are the purpose of holding the Cloud Marsh Cup. This experintal life form ca from an out-of-control special-grade project product from a university at Cloud Marsh Lake. They are a type of tal life form created through cooperation between alchemists and prosthetic masters among black wizards, loaded with a large number of chanical weapons from the chanical magic sub-direction of the Alchemy School."
