What I have seen is that this erging large civilization of Nora is under constant pressure from the outside world. The wizards may seem powerful, but they could be overthrown at any mont.
I have seen those legendary wizards of the past, who always undertook actions that went against their personal desires for the greater good of civilization, gradually gaining so understanding."
Levi said:
"Indeed, that’s what makes them admirable."
The Dragon Fla God shook his head.
"In fact, there’s nothing to admire. I once asked a deceased legendary predecessor of the Burning School of Thought, and he said that when you reach the legendary realm, most people will unconsciously shoulder the burden of civilization, not out of selflessness, not out of idealism, unrelated to dedication;
it’s a natural instinct... just like a mother nurturing her child."
He continued:
"When I truly stepped into the legendary realm, I received a letter."
"A letter?"
"Yes, a letter from the past... or maybe from the future."
"Was it a letter from Sauron?"
"Yes, the letter ntioned a word, which is the character of my wizard form. You might not know what it ans: it’s ’dragon’."
Levi’s emotions surged.
The Dragon Fla God’s gaze was reminiscent as he continued:
"In the letter, Sauron asked what the significance of [legendary spells] is. Is it to slay gods, exterminate demons, or to rule or destroy the world?
Legendary spells are powerful. The [Eternal Blazing Sun] of the Grand Council Chairman can easily tear apart a large world and erase it from the map, but this seems to have no aning.
Sauron asked if legendary spells could bring more convenience to my life or make live longer. It seems not.
I also don’t need to use legendary spells to show off my abilities in front of ordinary wizards, and those powerful true gods would not regard highly because of legendary spells.
Upon reflection, the aning of legendary spells seems scarce. Protecting the civilization that gave birth to is one of them;
it’s the existence of civilization that bestows it with aning.
The reason why legendary wizards are called [legendary] is also due to the oral transmission among people, or in the epic stories penned by bards and writers.
Legendary isn’t a realm;
it’s an honorary title. Just like the legendary knights of the Doomsday Era, they lived their lives into legends."
Levi nodded slightly, seeming to have so enlightennt.
"Thank you for your guidance, senior."
The Dragon Fla God waved his hand.
"This doesn’t count as guidance;
you have already comprehended and practiced it, although you may not have noticed it yourself. I observed your current life trajectory;
what is the ultimate motivation for your cultivation? Is it eternal life, or the ability to do as you please? It surely can’t be the elusive truth, hahaha."
Levi said: "All of the above."
The Dragon Fla God nodded and said:
"You are about to achieve doing as you please. In fact, in the current Multidinsional Plane, there are few who have the ability to restrict you, and they may have no interaction with you at all. As for immortality, longevity, and the undying, it’s very hard but also very simple;
you’ll understand after you beco legendary."
During their conversation,
powerful and vast auras began to return to the Sorren Continent.
Those legendary wizards have returned.
Levi counted and found none had fallen.
But so seed to be in poor condition.
For example, the Frost Witch.
She landed beside Levi, slightly panting.
Her cold and beautiful face was sowhat unusually flushed.
She had a large hole filled with demonic aura in her chest, temporarily sealed by spells.
Inside, a ferocious and twisted dragon shadow struggled.
It glowed on its surface, crashing incessantly.
The Dragon Fla God’s expression shifted slightly.
"Did you seal the Master of Rainbows in a Demiplane?"
The Frost Witch nodded. .
"Better to keep it with than to let it be a nace outside."
"How are you doing now?"
"I’m fine;
it will settle down in a while."
She seed indifferent to her own injuries, instead looking at Levi.
Her right hand, as if covered with thin frost on ice skin jade bone, gently patted his shoulder.
"Congratulations on reaching level 9."
Levi felt the coolness on his shoulder.
"Thank you, madam... Is your injury really alright?"
"No worries, it won’t take long for it to freeze stiff;
nothing in this world should be colder than my heart." The Frost Witch’s words ca with a hint of smile.
What Levi felt was only warmth.
"I’ll head back now... Lehger, you’ve worked hard."
The Frost Witch let out an almost imperceptible sigh and returned to her Sky City.
"You should go back;
there’s nothing more for now."
The Dragon Fla God’s figure dissipated.
Levi left the Sorren Continent.
Everything he saw was filled with war and demonic aura.
This invasion was more intense.
Surely, so level 9 experts have fallen.
Countless ordinary wizards or mbers of the Nora Wan Clan have perished or been injured.
...
The Land of Darkness.
"What is going on? How could the swift Master of Rainbows be captured by the wizards?"
The projection of the Succubus Queen gazed sternly, questioning the Wind Demon Lord before her.
Pazuzu said, "The Frost Witch sealed the Master of Rainbows inside a Demiplane to keep it;
isn’t she worried about the Demiplane being destroyed and implicating herself?"
"Mad woman..."
The Succubus Queen muttered.
It was clear she had an impressive impression of the Frost Witch.
"What is the situation of the battle?"
"Not good. So far, more than forty level 9 demons have fallen... It’s all Surgard’s fault for launching a massive war without authorization;
we weren’t ready, and we had to move out entirely. However, there’s so good news: it seems the Dragon Fla God is about to fall. This ti, Surgard indeed pushed him to the edge, forcing him to use previously unexhibited ans, likely burning his lifespan;
he won’t live long."
