Now reading: Chapter 782 - 733: Refining (Part 2) from Wizard: Starting from the Skill Tree, a Eastern novel by Yoyo does not eat grass.

His gaze settled in an unobtrusive corner.

Stardrop Stone Powder.

The label read: Originating from the teor Plane, containing traces of Star Power, capable of stabilizing energy fluctuations and assisting in ntal damage therapy.

Stabilizing energy fluctuations, that was exactly what he needed.

But Stardrop Stone Powder had one problem, it was too cold.

Star Power leaned towards the spiritual aspect, offering virtually no help in physical healing.

If added too much, it would cause the entire potion to beco unbalanced, top-heavy.

Another ingredient was needed to balance it.

Duke continued reading.

Royal Jelly of the Fairy, originating from the Fairy Plane, rich in life activity, can promote tissue regeneration and extend the duration of the potion’s effect.

Good stuff.

But royal jelly had a flaw, it was too greasy.

Though rich in life activity, it also easily made the potion viscous, affecting absorption.

If added too much, the consur might feel like they’ve drunk a spoonful of honey, taking ages to dissolve.

Dosage control was needed.

Duke took a small bottle of Moonflower Juice, similar to Moonlight Moss, but more inclined towards the spiritual aspect, gently guiding the potion’s power for natural absorption by the consur.

Duke returned to the operating table and lined up the three materials.

He didn’t rush to start.

Instead, he closed his eyes and rehearsed in his mind.

The original formula’s energy structure was based on Silvermoon Grass and Moonlight Moss, with Glimrstone Powder as nodes, Dragon Blood Grass as the core.

Now, he would add the cold of Stardrop Stone, the greasiness of royal jelly, the softness of Moonflower.

Three new energies needed to achieve a new balance with the five existing energies.

Not just simple addition.

But an entirely new blend.

Duke opened his eyes and began working.

He first took a tiny amount of Stardrop Stone Powder, just the size of a fingernail.

This stuff was too cold, so the smallest dosage had to be tried first.

As the powder fell into the crucible, the originally warm amber liquid trembled slightly, a faint layer of silver gray appeared on its surface.

Duke gently stirred with a glass rod, simultaneously sensing the internal changes with Spiritual Power.

The activity of Dragon Blood Grass was sowhat suppressed, but still within controllable limits. The energies of Silvermoon Grass and Moonlight Moss started automatically adjusting, trying to envelop these new cold spots.

Feasible.

He waited for a quarter of an hour until the liquid stabilized again, then added royal jelly.

A drop.

The golden liquid dripped into the crucible, spreading rapidly. The previously slightly cold potion began to warm up, and its color shifted from amber to a deeper gold.

But it certainly beca viscous.

Duke stirred with the glass rod and felt a noticeable resistance. Such a potion would be uncomfortable for the consur to swallow.

He quickly added Moonflower Juice.

Three drops.

The transparent juice fell into the crucible, like water eting hot oil, instantly causing a small ripple. The viscous royal jelly began to smooth out, and the golden liquid regained its flow.

Duke continued to stir, guiding the Moonflower Juice to distribute evenly with Spiritual Power.

A quarter of an hour later, the liquid in the crucible was completely still.

The color had changed from deep gold to a soft amber gold, its surface reflecting a warm glow, neither as cold as before nor as greasy as earlier.

Duke took a dropper, extracted a drop, and placed it on the Magic Testing Crystal Plate.

The Crystal Plate lit up.

This ti, the glow was purer, more stable. In the center of the golden aura, faint silvery stars sparkled subtly.

He stared at the Crystal Plate, quickly evaluating in his mind.

Energy stability, above ninety-five percent. Physical healing, above ninety percent. Duration, at least two hours.

Almost zero side effects.

Duke nodded satisfactorily and divided the improved potion into new crystal bottles.

A total of five bottles.

He looked at the five bottles of potion with a soft golden glow and suddenly recalled what Felix said in the first class.

"A true Magic Potion Master doesn’t just make potions according to a formula. They create formulas, improve formulas, adjust processes based on subtle differences in materials, and find directions for improvent even in a failed batch of waste liquid."

Create formula.

What he just did was exactly that.

Starting from a foreign topic, he designed the formula himself, chose the materials himself, adjusted the proportions himself, optimized the effect himself.

And it was done within six hours, without knowing what topic would be drawn in advance.

Duke leaned back in his chair, exhaling a long breath.

Outside the window, the sunlight was just right.

In the distance, the snowy mountains glowed a dazzling white under the sun.

There was still half an hour left.

He closed his eyes and began to wait for the assessnt to end.

In his mind, a new branch sprouted on his Skill Tree, representing the newly developed Magic Potion.

[Dragon Blood Royal Jelly: LV1 (2/100)]

With the existence of the Skill Tree, Duke was very sure he successfully developed it, another form of validation.

Soon, the six-hour ti limit was up.

A low hum sounded across the entire assessnt area, and a line of text simultaneously appeared on the Alchemy Walls of each assessnt room:

Assessnt concluded, please stand by.

Duke put down the Crystal Bottle in his hand, leaned back in the chair, exhaled a long breath.

Five bottles of potion with a soft golden glow were neatly arranged on the operating table, their warm glow reflecting under the alchemy chandelier’s light. He took one last look to confirm each bottle was properly sealed, then withdrew his gaze to look out of the window.

The outline of the snowy mountains remained clear, clouds lazily drifting in the sky.

The waiting ti was longer than expected.

About a quarter of an hour later, the door opened.

A young witch wearing a council uniform stood at the door, holding a silver tray.

"Please place your product in the tray." Her voice was devoid of any emotional tone, "One bottle is sufficient."

Duke picked up one bottle and placed it in the tray.

The young witch nodded, turned, and left, the door closing silently behind her.

He waited another quarter of an hour.

This ti, the door opened again. Still the sa young witch, but this ti her tone carried a hint of sothing else:

"Follow , Felix is waiting for you all in the inspection hall."

Duke stood up, following her out of the assessnt room.

Other examinees were beginning to walk out into the corridor, Cecilia was ahead of him, her complexion sowhat pale, clutching a Crystal Bottle tightly with her fingers whitening.

Edmond followed behind her, his brow furrowed, muttering sothing to himself. Those chanical system Wizards from the Seville Empire maintained their expressionless faces, their steps aligned like a military parade.

Morris walked at the back of the group, still carrying that half-dead look. He also held a Crystal Bottle, the liquid inside was a dark gray, looking sowhat eerie.

They crossed the short corridor, returned to the circular hall. Everyone gathered together and was guided towards a corridor on the other side.

At the end of the corridor was a massive archway.

As the door swung open, the mixed scent of various Magic Potions rushed forth, with fresh herbal aromas, pungent mineral slls, and faint hints of burnt notes.

This was a much larger inspection hall than the assessnt room.

At its center stood a huge long table, with dozens of precise detection instrunts arranged on it. The walls were lined with various Alchemy Walls, currently displaying rolling data.

Felix Wain stood at the end of the long table, his hands behind his back, those hawk-like eyes scanning each examinee as they walked in.

Three assistants stood beside him, all middle-aged Wizards wearing council uniforms, each with a sophisticated detection instrunt before them.

"In order by your assessnt number, step forward." Felix’s voice was hoarse yet crisp, "Place your product on the table, then step back three paces, and wait."

No one dared to talk.

The first examinee stepped forward. A young man Duke didn’t know, wearing a Magic Robe from so small faction on the East Coast. He cautiously set down a bottle of light blue liquid, stepping back three paces.

An assistant picked up that bottle, pouring a small amount onto the Magic Testing Crystal Plate, then placing it into an instrunt.

The instrunt emitted a slight hum.

A mont later, the assistant looked up: "Product exists, completion rate around forty percent, actual effect score... 35 points."
