The Rock Giant’s feet left the ground.
Then the torso, followed by the entire body.
It was sucked into the sky, flying towards the sphere.
It roared, struggled, and swung the Stone Sword, attempting to shatter the sphere.
But the flying earth and lava kept crashing into it, enveloping it, pushing it towards the center.
When it was finally pressed into the center of the sphere, everything around beca silent.
The sphere in the sky had beco a colossal size with a diater of over fifty ters.
It quietly hovered there, its surface glowing with a dark yellow light, with the faint outline of the struggling Rock Giant visible inside.
Duke stood at the edge of the pit, raising his right hand, fingers forming a virtual grip.
His face was pale, his forehead covered in cold sweat.
Duke’s fingers suddenly clenched tightly.
The sphere in the sky exploded with a roar.
Not a normal explosion, but an inside-out, complete disintegration.
The earth and lava compressed to the limit, in a reversal of gravity, crazily expanded outward, releasing a destructive shockwave.
The shockwave swept across the entire plain, flipping all remaining giant rocks and scraping layers off the ground.
And the Rock Giant at the very center was instantly torn, squeezed, and pulled by countless opposing forces.
Ultimately, completely obliterated.
It couldn’t even let out a roar.
The shockwave dissipated.
The dust settled.
A huge pit was left in the center of the plain, with a diater of over two hundred ters, depth unfathomable.
And the Rock Giant had completely vanished.
Duke’s Magic Power had depleted over half, and his Spiritual Power was sowhat exhausted.
But with just a few seconds of panting, the Magic Power within him had already recovered quite a bit, although the fatigue in Spiritual Power couldn’t be eliminated in such a short ti.
Duke checked the ti, eight hours had passed, only reaching the twenty-seventh level.
There was actually no need for so much ti; he had been deliberately controlling the ti, not advancing too quickly.
After reaching the twentieth level, each subsequent level allows for choosing when to advance, providing challengers with ti to rest and adjust.
Of course, there’s a ti limit, a maximum stay of one hour.
If aiming for ranking, one definitely shouldn’t rest too much.
But Duke’s intention was rely to secure a spot in the top ranks, ensuring a reward from the top ten, thus not needing to pursue speed.
By extending the ti, others would perceive he had put significant effort into advancing, likely spending considerable ti resting.
Advancing to the twenty-seventh and twenty-eighth levels wouldn’t appear extraordinarily astounding.
Duke found a barely intact piece of ground to sit down and began ditating to recover Magic Power and alleviate the fatigue in Spiritual Power.
All of this was actually for others to see.
Although Duke didn’t know who was watching here, he could be certain that the personnel responsible for assessnt had noticed everyone’s situation in the Illusion Tower.
So far, Duke had only used the thods of an Earth Elent Mage, without exposing too many other things.
An hour later, Duke completed his adjustnts and chose to enter the twenty-eighth level.
The scene before him changed abruptly.
When his vision cleared again, Duke found himself standing in an endless desert.
The sky was gray and yellow, obscured by dust, the sun invisible.
Beneath him were endless dunes stretching to the horizon.
The wind was strong, lifting fine sand grains that stung his face slightly.
The air was filled with a dry, scorching atmosphere.
Duke stood in place, feeling the strange resonance from beneath his feet.
Endless sand.
This was the desert, one of the most Earth Elent-rich environnts.
He could feel that this boundless desert was transmitting so kind of pulse towards him.
The sand, the dust, the sandstorms whipped up by the wind, all silently calling out to him.
Here, his abilities would be greatly enhanced.
In the desert, Duke was almost impossible to kill, and his magic recovery rate would reach a terrifying level.
Duke didn’t know whether he was just lucky or the person responsible for the assessnt deliberately set up this illusion, with a huge advantage for him.
He lifted his head, gazing into the distance.
There, a colossal figure was rising from behind the dunes.
It was a Kobold.
But unlike any Kobold he had ever seen.
Its size was crazily expanding—ten ters, fifty ters, a hundred ters, two hundred ters.
When it finally stood upright, the figure was already two hundred fifty ters tall.
It stood there, like a moving mountain, its shadow shrouding the sky.
The Kobold’s skin was dark brown, covered with rough Scale Armor, its eyes burning with dark yellow light.
It held a giant Stone Stick, entwined with flas and Thunder.
Once again, a Level 2 Peak creature.
And a fully ford Level 2 Peak.
The Kobold lowered its head, those eyes burning with dark yellow fire directly staring at the tiny human on the ground.
Its mouth split open, revealing sharp fangs, letting out a deafening roar.
"Roar––!!!"
The sound wave, carrying dust, ford a visible shockwave, sweeping towards Duke.
Duke didn’t dodge.
He simply raised his right hand, fingers spread wide.
The shockwave collided with an invisible wall ten ters in front of him, collapsing with a roar.
