Now reading: Chapter 800 - 742: Level 3 Witchcraft Artifact (2) from Wizard: Starting from the Skill Tree, a Eastern novel by Yoyo does not eat grass.

This item originates from the Fla Demon Plane, requiring special bloodline or Fighting Spirit for activation, making it unsuitable for Duke.

He shifted his gaze to the next compartnt.

"Star Compass (Navigator): An heirloom of the Star Realm nomads, capable of locating spatial coordinates within ten thousand miles, able to sense nearby space-ti fluctuations."

Star Realm nomads.

Another na he’s never heard before.

Duke was silent for a few breaths, beginning to realize.

This place is not just a Level 3 Witchcraft Artifact area, but a Level 3 treasure area.

Witchcraft Artifacts are only a part of it.

There are so many creations from other planes, other civilizations, operating on entirely different principles, yet equally reaching Level 3 power.

He recalled his Yellow Sand Crystal.

That crystal always placed on his left arm, of unknown origin, it absorbed countless Magic tal, forming the unique tallic Yellow Sand.

This item is also not a Witchcraft Artifact, seemingly a natural product from a special environnt, possibly containing certain special rules.

The Star Compass is sowhat similar to the Coordinates Earring, only its effect is far inferior to the Coordinates Earring, which Duke doesn’t need.

He continued walking along the compartnts.

"Dragon Soul Bone Flute (Instrunt): A relic from the Ancient Dragon Plane, made from dragon bones, can awaken the Dragon Soul’s will when played, briefly enhancing the combat power of the contracted Dragon Race. Note: Requires a Dragon Race contract to use."

"Void’s Eye (Eyeball): A remnant of void creatures, once transplanted grants the ability to see through all ntal interference and perceive energy. Note: Transplant success rate about thirty percent, failure causes spiritual power damage."

"Coin of Fate (Coin): A product of the Gods’ Plane, can briefly alter the course of events in a very small area when tossed. Note: Each use consus ten years of life, use cautiously in special situations."

Duke looked at those bizarre items, his brow slightly furrowing.

Choosing a Level 3 Witchcraft Artifact is difficult, he needs to find sothing sufficiently compatible and convenient to use.

He also saw several pure wizard system Level 3 Witchcraft Artifacts, magic wands, rings, amulets, etc.

Each emitted powerful energy fluctuations, labels marked with various enhancent effects.

But he didn’t stop.

Those items, though good, weren’t what he wanted.

He bypassed a row of tall shelves, the front suddenly opened wide.

This is a small circular area, surrounded by only six compartnts, solitary, suspended in mid-air.

Each item in the compartnts emits a unique aura, so as fiery as fire, so as cold as frost, so as deep as an abyss.

Duke’s gaze swept from left to right.

The first compartnt held a silver-white longsword, the blade flowing with starlike light spots.

"Star Trace (Longsword): A relic of ancient Arcane Masters, capable of slicing open space."

The introduction to this sword was extrely brief, ntioning only the ability to slice open space, seemingly straightforward and crude.

Yet Duke intuitively felt this item’s effect was likely quite extraordinary, its ability to slice open space might exceed his imagination.

However, this item was also not what he needed at the mont, unable to use it.

The second compartnt held a dark red ring, with a blood-colored gemstone embedded on its surface.

"Blood Covenant Ring (Ring): A holy artifact of the Blood Race, wearing for a hundred years can transform one’s bloodline into the bloodline of the Blood Race’s progenitor, after transformation, the ring disappears."

Duke’s brows slightly raised, he was unclear about how powerful the Blood Race’s progenitor bloodline was.

But it requires a whole hundred years, and being placed here, this bloodline likely isn’t simple either.

It’s the first ti he’s seen such a thod of transforming bloodlines, different from ordinary bloodline mage thods.

Duke continued to check the other compartnts, one even contained a mature World Tree’s branch, a superb material for refining various Witchcraft Artifacts.

He hesitated for a long ti but ultimately didn’t choose it.

Because even if he got it, it wouldn’t provide any substantive help in the short term, nor bring an increase in his own power.

The last compartnt.

Duke walked over, his gaze falling into that compartnt.

It was a palm-sized small tortoise shell.

Dark brown, its surface covered with dense patterns, edges a bit worn, looking like it was plucked from so old tortoise.

Compared to the neighboring radiant items, this seed like it was picked from a garbage heap.

"Black Tortoise Shell (Armor): The carapace of a juvenile Ancient Divine Beast, Black Tortoise, from a mysterious plane, activated by magic power and other energies, releases a Black Tortoise phantom to shield oneself. Extre defense capacity, can withstand Level 3 Rule Power level attacks. Note: Requires continuous consumption of magic power to sustain the phantom, consumption rate proportional to the intensity of attacks endured."

Duke stared at those few lines, pondering.

He naturally knew of the Black Tortoise, a creature from mythology and legend in his past life.

Now, the item before him truly seed to be the shell of the legendary Black Tortoise, categorized as a defense-type treasure.

Extrely strong defense, able to withstand Level 3 Rule Power attacks.

Needs continuous magic power consumption, which may be a burden for others, but for him, it’s no issue.

He has the Earth Spring, has the ability to continuously recover magic power from the environnt after becoming a Level 2 Mage.

As long as the one-ti magic power consumption doesn’t exceed the total amount within his body, it can be sustained.

Since arriving at the Central Islands and attending Aiselin’s course, Duke has witnessed the power of Level 3 Mage and above.

Duke is confident facing the attack of any Level 2 Life, even if he can’t win, he can escape.

But if a Level 3 Life mastering Rule Power makes a move, he has no confidence in surviving.

He currently has few ans to handle attacks at this level, this tortoise shell perfectly fills this gap.

Duke extended his hand, touching that compartnt.

A light flashed, the small tortoise shell fell into his palm.

In hand, it felt extrely heavy, weighing over a hundred tis what it appeared.

The shell’s surface was cool, those dense patterns faintly glowed upon the touch of his fingertips, as if coming alive.

Duke held it tight, injecting a trace of magic power.

The tortoise shell lightly trembled, then suddenly expanded.

He quickly withdrew the magic power, the tortoise shell shrank back to palm size.

Duke clenched the palm-sized tortoise shell, turning back to the direction he ca from.

He walked back the way he ca, passing by the shelves filled with bizarre items, through the layered compartnt area.

As he exited that Level 3 treasure area, the faint pull appeared again.

This ti the pull didn’t originate from the key in his chest, but from all directions; from the stone walls of the passage, from the stone slab underfoot, from the do above, as though the entire treasury was telling him: go this way.

Duke followed that pull, passing through corridor after corridor.

On arrival, he’d spent a long ti, yet the way back seed much shorter.

Perhaps due to a clear goal, perhaps due to the treasury itself guiding his exit.

The branching paths that seed long and winding earlier now appeared clear and simple.

Each ti he reached an intersection, a faint spiritual power pointed the right direction.

After walking for an unknown ti, the familiar wooden door finally appeared ahead.

Simple wooden planks, coarse door fra, a faint light seeping through the door crack.

Duke stood before the door, took a deep breath, and grasped that small iron ring.

He gently pulled, the door opened.

Behind the door was not that vine-covered stone wall, but a beach.

Duke stood on the threshold, inside the door fra and outside were two entirely different worlds.

Behind was the stone walls of the treasury and the eternal light, in front was the boundless beach and sky.

Underfoot was fine white sand, stretching to the horizon.

In the distance was a blue sea, sparkling with waves, the surf gently rolling onto the beach, creating a soft splashing sound.

The sky was warm golden, no sun, yet bathed with a gentle radiance.

The sea breeze softly blew, carrying a salty humid aroma, rustling his magic robe.

The vine-covered stone wall was gone, the guiding figure had disappeared.

There was only a vast beach, and him alone.
