"Alright, there’s no need to be so cautious when speaking."
Lady Allen raised her teacup and took a light sip:
"I am rely fulfilling the duty of a guide, but the true path is one you must tread on your own."
Her gaze beca deep and distant, as if seeing a horizon visible only to her:
"Every true wizard needs to find their own path. Whether it’s the traditional path or the Path of Truth, the ultimate goal is to transcend the mundane and touch true knowledge."
"I believe, with your talent and perseverance, you can forge a path of your own."
Ron was silent for a mont, then raised his head:
"Then, in terms of astrology and timing, is there anything in particular I should watch out for?"
"Indeed, there is." Lady Allen nodded, her expression turning serious:
"A breakthrough in the ditation Technique is not sothing that can be attempted at any ti, especially the Path of Truth, which requires a specific astrological alignnt."
She waved her hand gently in the air, and a star map appeared out of thin air, composed of countless points of light, slowly rotating:
"According to the Astrological Calendar, there are three ’Star Ring Convergences’ each year, which happen every four months, marking peaks of magic power. During these tis, not only does the concentration of magic power reach its peak, but the channels connecting higher beings also slightly open."
On the star map, several specific points suddenly lit up, forming a peculiar ring structure.
"The last convergence was over half a month ago, and the next one will be three months later—exactly ninety-seven days from now at midnight.
At that mont, the ’Hermit Star’ will align with the ’Oblivion Star Cluster’, creating a unique configuration, making it the best ti to attempt the Path of Truth."
As Ron listened, he ntally calculated the ti, a gleam of calculation in his eyes.
Three months... With his current cultivation speed, plus the boost from the "Star Eater’s Ravings", along with the high-efficiency ditation after the Ti Guardian Pocket Watch clears the pollution... there should be enough ti.
And if everything goes smoothly, he could complete the "Demon Hunter" class change before then, gaining so extra Spirit Attribute bonuses.
This value might not be much, but it is an essential key support for reaching the 4.9 Critical Point.
Currently, he’s a little over 4.5, still quite a bit away from the Critical Point.
The improvent of the ditation Technique slows down as it progresses, and the attribute bonuses from the Demon Hunter class change are undoubtedly the most reliable way to enhance it.
"The timing should suffice."
He nodded slightly, his face calm and composed, yet his mind already calculating the specifics of his subsequent actions.
The pink-haired witch gave him a aningful glance, a trace of understanding flashing in her deep green eyes:
"I don’t know what special thods you have, but every shortcut has its limits and costs. I hope you fully understand what you’re doing."
"And there’s one more thing I must warn you about."
Her voice suddenly turned solemn and icy, like frost scratching across glass:
"Once you enter the advancent environnt of the Path of Truth, all the challenges you face are real."
"What do you an?" Ron frowned slightly.
"Just as it sounds," Lady Allen said with eyes as sharp as daggers:
"If you die in that spiritual environnt, your physical body will also be destroyed. This is not an ordinary spiritual test nor an illusion realm in ditation; it’s a battle with a real higher being."
Her voice was low, but each word was as heavy as a hamr:
"Countless geniuses have underestimated this and remained forever at the threshold of advancent. Higher beings do not spare the failures, they only absorb them as an energy supplent, leaving not a shred of soul behind."
Ron did not imdiately respond, his features as calm as still water.
Lady Allen’s warning was not re alarmism.
The Path of Truth is dangerous precisely because the cost of failure is too heavy—not just simple death, but the complete annihilation of existence.
"I will be extrely cautious." He finally said, his tone a mix of certainty and caution: "If I detect anything amiss, I will imdiately stop the attempt."
Lady Allen shook her head, seemingly not fully satisfied with his response, but she said nothing more.
She knew that this choice ultimately had to be made by Ron himself.
Outside the door ca soft footsteps, and Lilia gently knocked on the door:
"Madam, the nightglow grass in the backyard has been pruned, can I... co in?"
The girl’s voice was full of careful probing, afraid to disturb the conversation inside.
Lady Allen glanced at Ron, seeing him nod slightly, she replied:
"Co in, little girl. We’ve finished discussing the important matters."
Lilia pushed open the door, her gaze wandering between Ron and Lady Allen, her hands nervously twisted together.
Her eyes finally rested on Lady Allen, clearly still not quite used to that youthful and beautiful face.
Lady Allen looked at her, a subtle glint flashed in her eyes: "Speaking of which, I have a question for you."
She turned to Ron: "Have you considered this little girl’s placent?"
The sudden question caught Ron slightly off guard; he had indeed been pondering this issue, but he didn’t expect Lady Allen to bring it up directly.
"I plan to go to the Crystal Tower."
He said frankly, without concealnt or need for concealnt: "With Lilia’s current abilities, I’m afraid she might struggle to adapt to the environnt and pace there."
Upon hearing this, Lilia’s face turned pale instantly.
But she quickly controlled her expression, rely lowering her head, standing silently.
Such a subtle reaction certainly did not escape the eyes of the two present.
