A thin mist enveloped the Black Mist Jungle in the early morning, casting a mysterious veil over everything.
At this mont, Ron had already left the Central Tower and was on his way to Lady Allen’s Herb Store.
The first sensation after becoming an Official Wizard was a qualitative leap in the clarity of the surrounding world.
Every wisp of wind, every slight tremor of leaves, even the dust in the air indistinguishable to the naked eye, could be clearly perceived by him.
Even more astonishing, he could now directly sense the flow of magic in the environnt.
The energy lines that required special magic or tools to observe during his apprentice days now appeared as clearly as a spring to his eyes.
"The world of an Official Wizard is truly so dazzling..."
Ron murmured softly, feeling an indescribable sense of satisfaction rising in his heart.
Just then, an unusual energy fluctuation suddenly ca from afar, interrupting his thoughts.
It was a chaotic and frenzied energy, with obvious abyssal traits.
Like a silent shriek, it pierced into his field of perception.
"This energy fluctuation..."
Ron abruptly stopped in his tracks, furrowing his brow.
Relying on the keen perception gained from being a Demon Hunter Knight and an advanced wizard.
He could almost be certain that this energy ca from the edge area of the School, likely in the direction of the Bloodline Altar.
"Strange, the altar was just recently reinforced by Valen..."
Ron pondered silently, his magic power unconsciously circulating within him, preparing for possible danger.
Ever since he ascended to an Official Wizard, his perception of abyssal energy had beco much clearer.
The fluctuation before him carried a disturbing aggression, unlike a natural leak, it seed more like it was deliberately released.
"Sothing’s wrong with the Bloodline Altar."
At this mont, he was already very close to Lady Allen’s Herb Store, and Ron decided to et with her first; two wizards together is always better.
The door to the herb store was open, seemingly waiting for his arrival.
As soon as he crossed the threshold, a familiar herbal fragrance greeted him, dispelling so of his worries.
"Congratulations, Ron Ralph, Official Wizard."
Lady Allen’s voice ca from the inner room, carrying a rare warmth.
She walked out slowly, her erald eyes gazing at Ron, filled with uncommon gratification and satisfaction.
"Madam." Ron slightly bowed, saluting her with the courtesies between wizards.
Though he had already ascended to a wizard, she had guided his growth all along, and such basic etiquette could not be neglected.
Lady Allen looked him up and down, nodding with satisfaction:
"The Path of Truth, even with the assistance of magic potions, had only a fifty percent success rate, yet you walked it through, proving my judgnt was not wrong."
A faint smile played on her lips, her tone a mix of praise and a hard-to-describe sense of nostalgia:
"I once got very close as well... just one step away... and now you’ve completed the path I couldn’t finish."
Ron could feel the genuine joy in her words.
It wasn’t just because he had succeeded, but because she saw the path she once pursued being proven viable.
"It’s all thanks to your guidance."
He said sincerely:
"Without the ’Star Dew Morning Glow’ you provided and the key insights into the Path of Truth, I couldn’t have succeeded, no, I would’ve hardly known there was such a path."
"No, Ron, this is entirely your own achievent."
Lady Allen shook her head gently:
"I rely pointed the way, but you are the one who walked it. No amount of help could make the Path of Truth anything but a dead end without your own talent and that kind of relentless determination."
Her gaze turned deep, as if reminiscing about so distant mory:
"Many geniuses have fallen on this path, yet you succeeded. So, what do you plan to do next?"
Ron took a deep breath, determination flashing in his eyes:
"I plan to first handle the affairs of the Kingdom and then head to the Central Lands to pursue a higher wizardry path."
Lady Allen nodded in approval:
"A wise choice. You possess extraordinary talent, and the Central Lands will provide you with a broader stage and richer resources. However..."
Her eyes turned sharp:
"Rember, the rarer sothing is, the more it will be coveted. Your level of purity will likely attract the attention of many true powerhouses."
Ron nodded thoughtfully: "I will act cautiously."
Just then, he suddenly recalled the abyssal energy fluctuation he sensed earlier:
"By the way, Madam, on my way here, I sensed an abnormal abyssal energy, seemingly from the direction of the Bloodline Altar. Did you notice anything?"
Lady Allen’s expression suddenly turned grave:
"There indeed have been so anomalies. I was just about to activate a completely isolated protective array, but sensing your arrival, I decided to wait for you first."
