Ron didn’t respond imdiately.
Indeed, during the practice of "Star Eater’s Ravings", he had more than once felt that kind of greedy impulse from the ’Devourer’.
It was an almost primal desire to completely engulf reason, a craving for more Star Energy, a yearning to master stronger power, an urge to crush and devour all obstacles.
"I will remain vigilant at all tis, Professor."
He finally replied, in a calm and restrained tone, stable like a precision instrunt:
"Rational thinking and logical analysis are always the basis for my decisions.
No matter how powerful the force, if it cannot be effectively controlled, it is not worth pursuing. I need controllable power, not uncontrollable destruction."
Uther’s apparition quietly watched him.
After a mont of silence, the old professor let out a soft sigh, his apparition slightly wavering like a candle fla blown by a gentle breeze:
"You know, Ron..."
His voice carried a rare sentint, a deep emotion accumulated over a millennium:
"Under normal circumstances, I can only maintain my existence for three to four more decades before completely fading away under the erosion of ti, like other Great Wizards. Although gathering Void Remains can extend consciousness, it’s not true immortality."
"But during this period, the Favor you’ve provided from your studies..."
He paused, his voice clearly shaken:
"The purity and intensity even exceeds that of my most outstanding students Allen and Cassandra back in the day. Not to ntion Allen, you know Cassandra, she was a top-tier talent with Tier One Talent."
The old professor’s tone beca sowhat excited, and the glow of the apparition fluctuated accordingly:
"Your Favor is not only unbelievably pure, but more importantly, it contains a certain special quality...
It seems to directly nourish the core structure of Void Remains, and after just a few months of instruction, it has extended my life by at least ten years!"
Ron raised an eyebrow; this information indeed surprised him.
He knew his Favor was sowhat special, but he didn’t expect its effect would be this significant.
This perhaps has to do with his identity as a Primordial Wizard, or possibly due to so trait inherent in the "Professional Panel" itself.
"This also explains why little Eve’s ’Demon Devouring’ symptoms could be alleviated by your Favor."
Uther continued:
"Ordinary Favor can only clear Spiritual Contamination, but your Favor can penetrate the soul level, repairing those fundantal defects caused by artificial Modulation.
This ability... even in History, it’s almost unheard of."
The old professor’s apparition gently floated in the air, his voice becoming more solemn:
"You are indeed an anomaly, Ron.
Not just because of your talent and strength, but also due to that unique... sense of balance within you."
"Balance?" Ron echoed, a thoughtful look in his eyes.
"Indeed." Uther nodded, his apparition growing clearer:
"Practitioners of ’Star Eater’s Ravings’ are usually affected by its devouring instinct, losing sympathy towards the weak, becoming cold and greedy.
But you are different; while pursuing strength, you still maintain rationality and restraint."
The old professor’s voice carried an almost devout anticipation:
"This makes see the possibility.
Perhaps you truly can master ’Star Eater’s Ravings’, rather than being mastered by it.
This is the fundantal reason I choose to believe in you."
Uther paused for a mont, his apparition gently trembling as if making so major decision:
"Therefore, I wish to make an agreent with you."
His tone beca exceptionally serious, silver light converging as he spoke:
"If you can consistently adhere to your path before my complete dissolution, not being alienated by the influence of ditation Technique, still maintaining that rationality and restraint..."
The old professor took a deep breath, seemingly about to reveal an extrely important secret:
"I will pass on the ’Selena Void Remains Fragnt’ left to by Calix to you."
Upon hearing this, Ron’s pupils instantly contracted.
Selena’s Void Remains Fragnt!
That was once plundered by the ’King of Blood’, and later reclaid by Calix, the legacy of a legendary entity!
"It contains the crucial Key to unlock the ’Chaotic Blood World’."
Uther continued, his voice hinting:
"Rather than building a kingdom from scratch, it’s much easier to replace that crippled false king.
A ready Otherworld, albeit chaotic and bloody, has a well-structured foundation, rely requiring a true ruler to re-integrate it."
The old professor’s eyes flashed a cunning gleam:
"Moreover, you should recall the ’Throne Seed’ you seized from the ’Holy Disc’ when you first beca an Official Wizard?"
Ron felt a shock in his heart; at the ti Lady Allen said she would handle it. Now it seems this precious trophy has ended up in Uther’s possession?
However, considering Uther was once Lady Allen’s ntor, it’s understandable.
"I have always been waiting for the right mont to bring this matter up with you."
Uther’s voice carried a clear expectation:
"Once you join the Abyssal Observation Station, we can conduct in-depth research on the ’Throne Seed’ in the safest environnt."
His apparition beca even brighter:
"It is a complete ’Throne Seed’, containing fragnts of Supre Apostle Level authority."
Ron’s breathing slightly deepened, the value of this information far exceeding his expectations.
