Chapter 1222: Chapter 596: If You Won’t Cooperate, Plenty of Others Will!

July 9th, 8 PM.

An Airbus A330 pierced through the dark clouds, its lights flickering as it entered xican airspace.

The pilot received a radio call:

“This is the First Flying Battalion of the Northern xico Military District. I am Commander Gerhard Barkhorn, ordered by the National Palace to escort you. Welco, Minister Malcolm Rifkind!”

The pilot of the Airbus A330 picked up the aviation intercom and expressed so thanks before hanging up, signaling the co-pilot to inform the leader.

On the plane sat British Defense Minister Malcolm Rifkind, a British Conservative Party politician and a mber of Parliant for Kensington. A seasoned politician who served as a minister in the Cabinets of Pri Ministers Margaret Thatcher and John Major, including as Secretary of State for Scotland.

Wearing glasses and reading a newspaper, he saw the crew mber trot over to relay the ssage from the xican Air Force.

He nodded slightly, not giving it much heed until he suddenly heard a sound outside the window. Turning his head, he saw two fighter jets flying alongside with sharp, geotrically cut body lines, imdiately evoking the “beauty of Arican weaponry” through sheer visual impact!

“Is that the F22?” Malcolm Rifkind asked the staff beside him.

There were quite a few influential figures with him, all officers, along with agents from the UK’s Military Intelligence Section 6. A group of them stood up, intensely observing from a close distance.

“That’s the F22, the world’s first fifth-generation stealth fighter jet. It perford excellently during the US-xico conflict, downing 21 U.S. F16s and 7 F14s without a single loss.”

A middle-aged man with the rank of Vice Admiral spoke calmly; he was Ophieen Chamberlain, the Permanent Under-Secretary, responsible for daily administrative managent and policy execution, and also one of the Defense Minister’s advisors.

“Does the UK have this technology?”

A woman standing at the back softly asked, making everyone turn their eyes towards her, startling her. She was a businesswoman, and Malcolm Rifkind had brought around 30 influential figures from various industries, including agriculture and aviation. A market of 200 million people in xico is indeed significant.

What she saw on these n’s faces was dejection.

She imdiately understood that the UK couldn’t produce such a class of fighter jets.

“Wondering where they got this equipnt from, the CIA can’t find out either; it’s as if aliens suddenly conjured it up,” Tahar Boggs said in a low voice beside them. He was the Director of the Intelligence Bureau. After glancing at the Defense Minister, he hesitated and said, “According to our conjecture, this isn’t their most advanced weapon.”

“???

Malcolm Rifkind’s pupils contracted as he turned his head to look at him, instantly silencing him. Finally, gazing at the F22, he sighed deeply and slowly said:

“The Royal Family is dissatisfied with Belize being occupied by xico, and Her Majesty the Queen hopes to reclaim Belize.”

Everyone else on the plane dared not speak upon hearing these words.

This is…

Have they consud too much brain white X?

What gave her the courage to say such words?

At that mont, crew mbers notified everyone to prepare for descent, and only then did everyone return to their seats, although their moods were far from pleasant. The F22 had shown them the disparity!

Woo-woo-woo—

The Airbus A330 slowly descended, experiencing so turbulence.

Defense Minister Malcolm Rifkind clasped the armrests tightly, eyes closed, whispering prayers, apparently having a fear of heights.

About forty minutes later, the plane landed safely on the runway, taxiing for a long ti, allowing him to let out a long breath of relief.

Still lucky…

At least there were no tall walls on the runway.

The plane taxied to the designated place under the guidance of ground staff, and as the cabin door slowly opened, students dressed in uniforms below began waving and jumping excitedly.

Malcolm Rifkind stood at the doorway, smiled and waved downwards, taking a deep breath, noticing that the air quality was decent. He slowly descended the stairs, supported by the railing, while a boy and a girl, about ten years old, ca over with flowers, speaking fluent English, “Welco to xico.”

The Defense Minister, smiling, happily hugged and kissed both children under the reporters’ flashes.

The two children were nad McClure and Feliciana, one the son of Cuauhtémoc, the other the sister of Casare.

You thought…

Any random person could present flowers?

On site, Defense Minister Kennedy personally ca to greet them, extending a hand for a firm handshake with Malcolm Rifkind, which the reporters eagerly docunted.

It should be considered a historic mont.

After all, the UK had threatened sanctions against xico and even used NATO as a threat. After Belize was occupied, they even threatened to deploy troops, yet… had only expressed this for a long ti without any mobilization.

“This is Vice Chief of the General Staff General Edward Fritz Bloomburg.”

“This is Army Chief General Siegmut List!”

Kennedy introduced the individuals to him, with Malcolm Rifkind shaking each one’s hand, his face stiff from smiling yet unable to avoid it. Diplomatic protocol is such that even after “Tage” took office, he still had to wear a suit.

After staying at the airport for about ten minutes, the group got into cars heading towards the National Palace.

This airport was the xico-Victor International Airport, not far from the city center. As soon as they erged, they saw buildings in the distance with lights flashing a welco ssage, “Warmly Welco European Defense Ministers to xico!”
