Chapter 1248: Chapter 607: dellin Lost a Leg! (Part 2)

The police could only stand by and watch helplessly.

The Myanmar constitution stipulates that 25% of parliantary seats are reserved for the military, giving them considerable power to influence various legislative bills and decisions. Additionally, the military holds the power to veto any constitutional andnts.

Likewise!

The military has established Myanmar Economic Corporation (C) and Myanmar Federation Economic Holdings Limited (UHL). These two giants have business interests spanning sectors such as construction, hospitality, tourism, transportation, jade, agriculture, mining, and energy, currently having at least 120 subsidiary companies. Consequently, the military has beco a key player in Myanmar’s economy, controlling crucial sectors and vast resources, providing an economic foundation for its power consolidation.

Thus, the military’s power is very, very great.

The person on the scene was a Colonel, who looked very serious; such a heinous incident in Chinatown, of course, attracted great attention.

“Officer, we’ve identified the victim. It’s Ochoa, the number two leader of the dellin Cartel. He ca through the Myanmar Trade Bureau’s channels.”

Upon hearing the na, the Colonel’s pupils contracted, speaking in Burse, “What else was found at the scene?”

“C4 and MAC10 submachine gun bullets were found at the scene. The assailants coordinated very well; we don’t think it was done by ordinary people.”

“Nonsense, I also know it’s not ordinary people. What about surveillance?”

“Surveillance… the surveillance is broken.”

The Colonel’s face turned dark, “Continue following the leads, I’ll call the superior.”

He turned to find a corner and made a phone call to an influential boss, looking very ingratiating. The person on the other end had a high status, listening to his report, calmly said, “I see.”

After hanging up the phone, the Colonel wiped the sweat from his forehead, hesitated a mont, and made a call to Khun Sa, “Hey! Sothing has happened!!”

In the City of Cali, Colombia, this is the famous “Cali Cartel” headquarters.

There’s a saying here:

Don’t make little moves here, the God of Cali City is watching.

This organization is most talked about for being low-key and sophisticated!

Unlike the dellin Cartel, known for its violence, the Cali Cartel acts discreetly, rarely using violent ans, preferring instead to operate under the guise of legality. They disguise as businessn, running businesses from Colombia’s skyscrapers and farms, shipping drugs through conventional cargo ships to avoid attracting excessive attention.

Their money-making ability is astonishing; at its peak, they trafficked up to 340 tons of cocaine annually, earning 23 billion US dollars a year, averaging 460,000 US dollars per minute. They have a complex money laundering system, employing top accountants and lawyers to deposit funds in the Panama Bank or banks across Europe and Arica, also investing in land purchases, and factory construction, trying to legitimize illicit funds as proper careers for drug traffickers.

Globally, they have various industries, involving many sectors, and for a ti, their “industries” made it to the Fortune Global 500…

So much so that many people working overseas don’t even know their headquarters actually traffics drugs!

I ask you, isn’t that impressive?

Besides, their surveillance system is even acknowledged by the CIA to be superior. You enter Cali City, taxis are all run by the drug cartel, let alone the people you see on the roadside.

They are also the target of Victor’s Anti-drug Alliance.

Do I not attack you just because you’re low-key?

I, Victor, will cut you down even if you peddle drugs like a dog.

Especially after Miguel Rodriguez Orehuela, one of the Cali Cartel’s Four Godfathers, was killed (Chapter 199), there’s absolute hatred toward Victor, of course, wanting him hacked to pieces.

“It’s bad! It’s bad! It’s bad!”

The boss, Gilbert, was in the office discussing military actions with his remaining two brothers and the military advisor hired at a high price, when the door was pushed open, and a panicked voice rang out.

Gilbert frowned in displeasure. When he saw who ca in, his expression relaxed slightly, but he still reprimanded, “William! Don’t you know how to knock?”

Entering was Miguel’s son, currently the security advisor of the Cali Cartel, William Rodriguez Orehuela, only 21 years old.

Gilbert and the others are very fond of this nephew, very mature, a man of great deeds. Previously responsible for the company’s delivery business, hiding drugs in hollowed-out wood, chlorine tanks, etc., were ideas he ca up with, also a talent.

“Uncle, Ochoa is dead! Dead in Yangon, Myanmar!”

The office fell silent.

The third brother Chepe San Cruz and the fourth, Herrera, looked sowhat panicked at their big brother, then at their nephew, “How did he die?”

“I called people over there, they said he was attacked after leaving the hotel, the assailants used submachine guns and C4 bombs, the identity of the killer isn’t clear yet.”

Gilbert’s chest slightly heaved, evidently his mood wasn’t calm either.

Because, in his view, the current dellin Cartel was entirely supported by Ochoa; the eldest Pablo… has been confird to have schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, delirium, phobias, etc., is basically wasted, has very little ti to act independently, especially severe delirium.

And the third leader Carlos Leder… is like a toad, needs soone behind him to push, otherwise he won’t move, the others are even more incompetent.

Ochoa had reputation, charisma, ability, with him the dellin could still hold up, now that he’s dead, it’s all over.

The window was open, a gust of wind blew in, and Gilbert felt a chill…
