"You, co up."

Salsedo's legs were weak, almost collapsing to the ground, but under the eyes of two guards nearby, he could only move step by step to the other end of the long table, in front of Felix.

He stood still, his body still trembling uncontrollably, his face full of pleading and despair, opening his mouth to make one last struggle: "Mr. Gonzalez, I... I can explain..."

Felix didn't listen to his explanation.

Under everyone's gaze, he placed his right hand holding a silver Colt revolver under the table and pressed it firmly against the center of Emilio Salsedo's brow!

The plea on Salsedo's face froze instantly, his pupils enlarged to the limit.

"Bang!!!"

The deafening gunshot exploded in the confined eting room!

The sound was so loud that it made eardrums buzz, even drowning out so people's subconscious screams.

.357 bullet with massive kinetic energy, drilled into Salsedo's brow, instantly shattering his brain tissue, and then blasted out from the back of his head!

A large piece of skull mixed with hair, blood, and gray-white brain matter was completely blown away, with a crimson mist, sprayed in a fan shape backward, splattering on the shiny wall and even onto the faces and bodies of several officials sitting in the back row.

Salsedo's body was thrown back by the impact of the bullet, slamd straight onto the floor with a dull thud.

The strong scent of blood and gunpowder instantly filled the eting room.

"Ah—!!"

Finally, an official couldn't help but scream, many subconsciously jumped up from their chairs, wanting to flee from this terrifying scene, tables and chairs were knocked over, the situation instantly spiraled out of control.

"Sit down!!"

Felix's roar was like thunder, overpowering all the chaos! He still sat in his chair, his right hand still holding the revolver emitting strands of blue smoke, his eyes fierce, scanning the disturbed crowd.

Almost as soon as his shout rang out—

"Click! Click! Click!"

The guards around the eting room responsible for security moved in unison, forcefully pulling back the bolts, the black muzzles of the assault rifles instantly aid at the panicked officials.

All the officials who stood up froze as if under a spell, staring at the muzzles that might spew fire at any mont, at Salsedo's corpse still twitching slightly on the ground, at the young man on the main seat who was expressionless, seemingly like a God of death.

Ultimately, they succumbed to the absolute intimidation of brute force, tremblingly sat back down in their seats, many even unable to hold back and began to gag.

Felix coldly watched them settle back into their seats, then slowly threw the revolver back onto the table with a bang.

As if nothing happened, he took out a box of cigarettes from his pocket, pulled one out, put it in his mouth, and with a delicate silver lighter, "clink" lit it.

He took a deep drag, slowly exhaled blue-gray smoke.

Through the smoke, he looked at the officials below, slowly opened his mouth:

"I know, you're not convinced."

"Feel free to report afterward."

Report him? To whom? To his big brother Casare? Or to the supre leader Victor who sent him? This is simply the most ridiculous joke on earth!

Dammit...

Just because you have connections, you think you're great!

"Next..."

"Director of Equipnt Logistics, State Police Headquarters, Rodrigo Diaz."

The na called was a slightly chubby middle-aged man, as if a spring was installed under his butt, he jumped up, his movents were so fast that he almost knocked over the chair.

"Sir."

Felix looked up at him, his tone even carried a hint of "puzzled" inquiry:

"Director Diaz, I noticed a report, in the past two years, the State Police Headquarters, especially the departnt responsible for equipnt logistics under your charge, the reported losses of firearms, bulletproof vests, communication equipnt, were more than twice that of other equivalent states, can you tell , what's going on? Is our police training especially rigorous, or is our equipnt quality particularly poor?"

"It's the training! Sir, it's absolutely the training! Our police in the State uphold the highest standards, the training intensity is very high, naturally, the consumption is... higher! Moreover, moreover, the cri situation we face is complex, the frequency of equipnt use..."

Felix listened quietly, even slightly nodded, seemingly indicating understanding.

Seeing this, Diaz felt a little relieved, thinking maybe he could bluff his way through.

But Felix imdiately threw out a second question in the sa steady tone:

"I have a few unpleasant allegations here. Soone says you have close ties with so minority ard forces in the State, you provide them protection, enabling them to kidnap and traffic at least 60 foreign tourists, in exchange for lucrative rewards, is this true?"

Diaz suddenly lifted his head, his eyes filled with fear and "wrongly accused" excitent, his voice suddenly rose, with a cry:

"It's slander, sir! It's slander! Utter slander! I have served xico's police system all my life, conscientiously, knowing my duty is to serve the country and its people! How could I do such a thing? I'm not greedy at all! Sir, you can check, I still drive a dostic car bought ten years ago, I..."

He spoke earnestly about his "cleanliness," almost to the point of tears.

Felix listened quietly to his performance, he had encountered this scenario too many tis before, corrupt officials always claid to be "good people" before being caught.

But after being caught, everyone said they were just montarily greedy.

"Yet your wife uses US Dollars to buy groceries?"

Diaz's mouth was still open, cold sweat instantly soaked the shirt on his back.

He saw Felix's hand casually resting on the table's revolver, still emitting the scent of gunpowder.

This subtle movent beca the last straw crushing Diaz's spirit.

"I... I...!!" Diaz extended his finger, madly pointing at a thin official sitting diagonally behind him:

"I accuse him, it's him, the minority people have given him money! Through him, given a lot of money! More than once! He knows about the tourists, he must know!"

The thin official accused was the Director of Ethnic Affairs for the State Governnt, nad Ortiz.

He was originally relieved that he wasn't the first to be settled, but now being accused like a mad dog by Diaz, he suddenly jumped from his seat.

"You fart! Rodrigo Diaz! You mad dog! You're slandering!"

"You're lying! It's you who made the connections!"

"You're insatiable, those missing tourists, where they were sold in the end, can you dare to say?!"

"It's you! It's all you!"

The two were almost fighting.

Felix stood up, held up the gun, didn't say much, bang bang!

Directly two shots.

"Damn, what a load of nonsense." He murmured two sentences, flicked the cigarette ash onto the floor, looked up at others, "Anyone willing to surrender voluntarily?"

"I'll give you a minute, if I have to read them out again, I'll just execute according to the list."
