Capítulo 1910: Chapter 813: Wow~ What a Huge Fla~ (Part 6)

He looked toward the channel where the athletes were entering: “Just like the athletes who will soon be competing on the field, they co from different continents, with different skin colors, languages, and beliefs. But here, under the banner of the Olympics, they adhere to the sa rules, respect the sa spirit, and pursue the sa ‘higher, faster, stronger.’ This is the way humanity should coexist—seeking unity in diversity and progressing together through competition.”

“Therefore, this Olympic Gas is more than just a sports event.” Victor’s voice beca grand and full of appeal, “It should be a symbol. A symbol of the end of an old era—one defined by a single mode of progress and hierarchical divisions of power. That era should co to an end. It also symbolizes the beginning of a new era—a new era of multipolarization, diversification, and equal coexistence of multiple developnt models, drawing lessons from each other!”

“xico is willing and capable of contributing to the building of this new era. Not just in sports, but also in technology, economy, and culture, and in maintaining an international order based on true equality and respect.”

He looked toward the night sky, as if having a dialogue with history:

“Let us rember history, but not be bound by it. Let us embrace change, creating a better future through change. May the Olympic fla of this gas not only illuminate the stadium but also the path forward for humanity—a path away from dominance and prejudice, toward peace, cooperation, and shared prosperity.”

“Thank you.”

He bowed slightly.

There were no shouts of hoarse calls, no exaggerated gestures. But the whole “Phoenix Nest,” after a brief mont of utmost silence, erupted into applause and cheers more fervent and enduring than when the phoenix appeared at the opening! The cheers ca not only from the xican audience but also from many other countries’ delegations and spectators! Victor’s speech did not directly na anyone yet accurately struck at the long-standing sentints accumulated globally, especially in the non-Western world!

In the box, the President of France whispered to the German Chancellor: “He has given an elegy for the old world and written a prologue for the new world. And we… have beco the guests at the funeral and the background in the prologue.”

The German Chancellor smiled bitterly: “What’s scarier is that a great part of what he said… is true. We cannot refute it.”

Prince Charles could no longer hear any sound around him. He only felt that every word Victor spoke was like a cold file, gradually wearing away the last illusion of glory of the British Empire. His vision went black, nearly fainting, and was tily supported by the doctor beside him who fed him pills.

McTavish clapped vigorously, his eyes shining. He knew that Victor’s words were not just for the world, but for him, for everyone trying to break free from the old shackles. “Different paths can be equally wonderful”—this sentence gave him unprecedented confidence and direction.

Sarah Kent was on the ordinary stands, her eyes brimming with tears. She wasn’t moved for xico but for the possibility of being “seen,” “recognized,” and “able to have different choices.” England, too, should find its new path!

Victor stepped down from the podium amid thunderous applause. His expression returned to its usual calm, as if the speech that would surely go down in history was just completing an ordinary task.

He gave Casare and Bramo a slight nod as they approached: “How is the torch lighting ceremony preparation?”

Casare rubbed his hands excitedly: “Boss, we’ve been waiting for your word! We’ll make the world drop their jaws again!”

anwhile, in London, in the underground ergency command center of 10 Downing Street.

The Pri Minister and the core mbers of the Cabinet, along with the heads of Military Intelligence Five and Six, looked at the big screen with ashen faces. One half of the screen was broadcasting Victor’s speech at the xican Olympics opening ceremony, while the other half showed real-ti surveillance footage from multiple locations on the streets of London.

Hyde Park, Trafalgar Square, near Whitehall Street… A crowd gathered as far as the eye could see. The organizers of the “English Congress” had clearly chosen their locations carefully, not directly attacking the governnt core but enough to create enormous visual and psychological pressure. What frightened them even more was that many demonstrators were holding small radios or portable televisions, listening to or watching the Olympic opening ceremony! Victor’s speech echoed through the airwaves under London’s night sky!

“They’re listening! They’re listening to what the xican is saying!” Minister of Defense Portillo’s voice trembled, unsure whether from anger or fear, “This is inside support and outside chaos! This is rebellion!”

“The Police Chief reports that the crowd is extrely restrained, with no acts of violence, and the patrol teams are even helping to maintain order and clean up trash.” The Minister of Internal Affairs’ voice was full of helplessness, “What grounds do we have to disperse them? ‘Illegal assembly’? The scale is too large! ‘Threat to national security’? They’re just sitting and listening to the radio!”

The Pri Minister covered his face with both hands. Victor declared the end of the old era in xico, while on the streets of London, the old era was collapsing in the most direct way. The Royal Family had just signed a “traitorous agreent” in front of the whole world, while a peaceful demonstration demanding the overthrow of the current system gathered millions in the capital’s streets… What more vividly signifies the complete failure of a regi?

“Let the police continue to stand by, absolutely no opening fire.” The Pri Minister’s voice leaked from between his fingers, hoarse and despairing, “Contact… contact that woman from the ‘English Congress,’ Sarah Kent. Ask them… what exactly they want. Arrange… for a secret eting.”

xico City, “Phoenix Nest.”

.

The opening ceremony had entered its last and most exciting segnt—the torch lighting.

Everyone thought that after such a shocking opening and Victor’s speech, the torch lighting ceremony would perhaps return to tradition.

But they were wrong.

The lights in the venue dimd again. Only one spotlight shone at the entrance of the stadium. The last torchbearer, an outstanding female scientist representing the younger generation of xico, carrying the globally relayed fla, ran onto the field. She ran to the center of the field and stopped.

Then, she made an unexpected move—she did not head toward any traditional torch stand but instead, held the torch high, and then, suddenly tossed it upwards!

The torch traced an arc in the air!

At that mont—

Buzz!!!

In the open sky above the stadium, countless points of light suddenly appeared, not stars but the “Hummingbird” drones that had previously perford! But this ti, in greater numbers, nearly a thousand!

They gathered with amazing speed and precision, forming a complex and beautiful spiral pattern in the night sky, with the center exactly aligned with the top of the stadium.

As the thrown torch reached its peak, it seed to trigger so chanism, and a thin, dazzling laser beam shot from the torch’s tip, straight up into the sky, precisely hitting the center of the spiral drone formation!

As if receiving a signal, all the drones illuminated simultaneously! Not ordinary LED lights, but so high-intensity, almost tangible cold fla! The spiral formation instantly turned into a “Light Feathered Serpent” of light and fire, spiraling upward!

“Feathered Serpent” elegantly drifted and rolled in the air, finally letting out a clear, synthesized yet ancient cry, suddenly diving, with a magnificent tail of light and fla, plunging into the stadium through the open do!

All 100,000 spectators in the stadium, along with global viewers, collectively held their breath, wide-eyed!

The “Light Feathered Serpent” circled the venue once, scattering spots of light rain, and then resolutely charged toward the main torch stand on the side of the stadium—a structure designed to resemble an ancient pyramid, yet with a futuristic energy core at the top.

The “Feathered Serpent” plunged into the energy core!

Boom!!!

Not an explosion, but a deep, heart-shaking energy hum! From bottom to top, the pyramid torch stand was instantly lit with a vibrant blue liquid-like fla! The fla soared, stable and glorious, illuminating the entire stadium and, through television signals, the whole world!

The Olympic fla was ignited in a way transcending mythology and technology, bridging past and future, in an unprecedented manner!

The shock of this mont transcended language.

After a brief dead silence, “Phoenix Nest” erupted into the most insane and enduring clamor of the gas! People scread, jumped, embraced, and cried! This thod of lighting the torch had transcended sports, becoming the ultimate cultural declaration, technological declaration, and national confidence!

Victor stood beside the podium, looking at the bright blue fla, finally revealing a smile of true satisfaction and a hint of fatigue.

“The torch is lit.”!!
