Gals nodded, turned, and walked toward the eting room of the base. In the eting room, the Commander of the Congo Governnt Army was sitting there. When he saw Gals co in, he imdiately stood up with a flattering smile on his face: "Captain Gals, thank you for repelling the Anti-Governnt Ard Forces last ti, protecting the mining base and our soldiers."

"It’s our duty," Gals said coolly, sitting in a chair, "Tell , how do you want to discuss the joint patrol?"

"We hope your team can form a joint patrol with our soldiers around the mining base within a twenty-kiloter radius to combat the Anti-Governnt Ard Forces and illegal miners," the Commander said, "We will provide personnel and so equipnt, with costs shared by the Congo governnt and the xican Company."

Gals nodded: "Agreed, but the command of the patrol must be in our hands. Your soldiers will only be responsible for coordination. After all, the combat capability of your soldiers is frankly not very impressive."

The Commander’s face alternated between red and white, but he knew Gals spoke the truth and could only nod in agreent: "Alright, everything will be according to your request."

Gals looked at the Commander, eyes gleaming with a hint of sharpness: "Furthermore, tell your President that the xican Company will not only be mining cobalt but will also build new energy power stations and roads in Congo, helping Congo’s economic developnt. But the prerequisite is that the Congo governnt must protect our interests and prevent any force from interfering with our mining and construction."

"Definitely, definitely!" The Commander nodded quickly, "Our President said he would do everything possible to safeguard the interests of the xican Company."

Gals nodded with satisfaction, knowing that xico’s layout in Congo had taken a solid step forward. Cobalt is the core material for new energy batteries; controlling the mining rights to cobalt ans controlling the lifeline of the new energy industry. Through cooperation with the Congo governnt, xico can not only secure a stable supply of cobalt but also establish its sphere of influence in Africa, laying the foundation for future developnt.

Just as Gals and the Congo Commander agreed on the joint patrol details, his tactical tablet suddenly vibrated, receiving an encrypted ssage from the intelligence departnt in xico City, with just a short sentence: "The Black Sea Wolf is active at the Congo border, target suspected to be the mining base, exercise caution."

Gals’ face instantly darkened, and he imdiately stood up, shouted to the soldiers around him: "Full alert! Notify all patrol teams to return to the base area imdiately and enhance vigilance! The Black Sea Wolf is here!"

The soldiers imdiately sprang into action. In the mining base, sirens sounded, workers scrambled into shelters, soldiers occupied various defense positions, gun muzzles aid at the jungle outside the base. Gals stood on the highland, holding binoculars in hand, his gaze sweeping over the distant jungle, a glimr of fierceness in his eyes.

He knew that "Black Sea Wolf" as the CIA’s pawns, ca with fierce intent; a brutal battle was inevitable. But he also knew that behind him were xico’s interests, the future of the new order. He could not afford to lose.

In the depths of the jungle, several dark figures moved swiftly between the trees. They wore camouflage, faces painted with oils, carrying sophisticated European and Arican equipnt—these were the rcenaries of the "Black Sea Wolf." At the forefront was a tall White man with a grim scar on his face, none other than Hendrick.

Hendrick hid behind a big tree, watching the distant mining base, a hint of malice flickering in his eyes. Last ti in the Congo cave, he narrowly escaped. Afterward, he contacted the Commander of the "Black Sea Wolf" and received the mission to attack the xican cobalt mining base. The CIA’s Turner explicitly told him to spare no expense in destroying the mining base and cutting off xico’s cobalt supply.

"Captain, the base’s defenses are very tight, xican soldiers have already entered the defense positions, it’s difficult for us to break through frontally," a rcenary walked up to Hendrick and reported in a low voice.

Hendrick sneered, raised his hand, and pointed to a small hill behind the base: "Frontal breakthrough? We don’t need a frontal breakthrough. See that hill? We’ll circle around the back, use mortars to bombard their mining equipnt and warehouses, then seize the chaos to retreat. Our goal is not to occupy the base but to destroy their mining facilities, to give xico a warning."

The rcenaries all nodded, following Hendrick, circling to the hill behind the base. Their movents were light and swift, obviously battle-hardened veterans. But what they didn’t know was that Gals had anticipated their backhill ambush long ago and had set up covert observation posts and land mine arrays at the foot of the hill.

When Hendrick led the rcenaries to the foot of the hill, an observation post imdiately sounded the alarm. Gals watched the red dots on his tactical tablet, a cold smile tugging at the corner of his lips: "Suicidal! Notify the mortar team to aim at the red dots at the foot of the hill and blast them to death!"

A few seconds later, mortars from the base began firing, shells trailing flas slamming into the jungle at the foot of the hill. Explosions rang out consecutively, flas soared into the sky, and many rcenaries were blown away before they could react, their bodies torn and bloody.

Hendrick was blown off his feet by the shockwave, dirt and blood staining his body. He looked at his fallen brothers beside him, a mix of horror and anger in his eyes. He hadn’t expected that the xican soldiers were already well-prepared; this ambush had turned into a self-imposed trap.
