"You... rebelling?"
Marcus Phoenix narrowed his eyes and asked in a deep voice.
This silenced the other party imdiately.
"Cough cough, officer, the Losano family is willing to offer assistance to Mr. Victor, to help him stabilize Sonora State," said one of the three, a white-haired old man as he stood up.
"The Losano family?"
"Yes, we have been in Sonora for over a hundred years, we have 17 people serving as mbers of the legislature..."
The old man recited it as if he were recounting his family tree.
Marcus Phoenix suddenly stepped forward and kicked him, sending him flying into the wall. The old man crashed against it and clutched his chest, groaning in pain.
"You think I wouldn’t hit you because you’re an old man?"
"The Losano family? It’s the Victor era now, old man, don’t you check the calendar before you leave the house?"
"Pretending to be NMB, family? Under Victor’s rule, all are equal!" Marcus Phoenix said with a dark face, waving his hand, "Send the Governor on his way."
The officers behind him rushed up, unplugged Irwin Losano’s oxygen machine, picked him up, and opened the window. They were on the 17th floor.
They threw him down!
Crash!
He landed on the cars below, setting off the car alarms which imdiately began wailing chaotically.
"You... You’re so brutal, we must impeach you, go to xico City to report your actions!" The young man still had a temper, completely unaware of caution.
Marcus Phoenix narrowed his eyes, grinning with a smile.
Pop pop pop...
A burst of gunfire echoed through the hospital ward, and the doctors and nurses sitting outside shuddered in fear. In no ti, they saw the group of officers walk out.
The one leading even gave them a look.
Just when the doctor sighed in relief, Marcus Phoenix paused, turned his head, "Were those organ harvestings done here?"
The doctor’s complexion changed dramatically!
...
anwhile, at the Hermosillo State Legislature Building.
Standing not far from City Hall, there was a fountain at the entrance which actually looked quite unique; but that thing... cost 300,000 US Dollars!
With that much money, you TM could just pull any civilian off the streets, and they could serve as a living fountain.
xico has been practicing a parliantary system since 1811, with each state being highly autonomous, having their own constitution, ard forces, and legislature, all deciding matters for themselves.
Many tis, those sitting in the National Palace of xico are just the common interests pushed forward.
So...
Sotis, their drug trafficking is just in defense of their own interests.
It’s often seen that many presidents get arrested by the United States after their term ends, and there’s a reason for that.
Why is it that with such a large gesture of Victor, not a single state is willing to surrender?
Big brother...
Victor is "destroying" the drug traffickers’ habitat, grinding those mixed breeds into the ground, do you think they would surrender?
It’s possible that so city official below might surrender, but a Governor...
If there is a "military-industrial complex" in the United States, ford by the military, military enterprises, and so mbers of Congress as a huge interest group,
then xico has the "drug complex," composed of corrupt politicians, the military, and most of the common people as an enormous interest group.
He is opposing everyone!
Not even a strong man fallen from the skies can save this country.
This place, its greatest use is to serve as the United States’ garbage recycling factory, especially after the signing of the "North Arican Trade" agreent, this place’s dire state, only the common people know.
Around the Millennium, this was still the domain of many illegal immigrants, who, in desperate haste, crossed primitive jungles into xico, from here into the beacon.
Every year, millions of people smuggle themselves into the United States, but why hasn’t the population base increased over the decades to co?
Where did these people... really go?
God cannot save xico, then please co down, God, and let Victor take the seat!
In the legislature of Sonora State.
Everyone was sitting quietly, no one making a sound.
They’re opposing Victor!
When the Anti-Drug Force entered the city, not a single assembly mber went to greet them; they wanted to tell that tyrant with their own thods.
We cannot be defeated by you!
Bang!
The front door of the legislative hall burst open with a loud noise, as if soone were hamring on the outside.
The seated assembly mbers instantly panicked.
"Quiet!" the Speaker, sitting above, let out a cold snort, a long scar across his face like a centipede.
I dare to ask, are you a Speaker, or a bandit?
Under his shout, the assembly mbers quieted down slightly, staring straight at the door, when they heard a "click."
The door was smashed open.
A group of fully ard police officers rushed in.
"This is the legislature, a sacred place!" the Speaker stood up and proclaid righteously, "Violence should stay far away!"
Speaking as if he were the epito of justice.
Actually...
Heh.
"You are holding an illegal assembly," the leading officer said with a somber face, "Disperse and go ho imdiately."
"This is the legislature! A right established by the Constitution! An illegal assembly? You lapdog of Victor, what kind of joke is this?"
"Without Mr. Victor’s approval, gatherings of more than ten people are illegal!"
Many assembly mbers were furious upon hearing this.
Dammit.
In Sonora, we used to call the shots; are you trying to steal our lines just after arriving?
"Under the law of Sonora, Victor is committing treason; he’s undermining xico, we need to judge him, he’s a criminal, he’s the offender! He is the most dangerous man in the whole country."
"Who’s going to judge ?"
"You?"
"Or you?"
Suddenly, a loud shout ca from outside, a voice that was clearly robust.
Victor walked in with a cigarette in his mouth, his eyes sweeping around disdainfully, and everyone he pointed at hung their heads. Victor pointed at the cross and bellowed, "Or God!"
"Who can judge , who dares to judge !"
"A den of filth!"
Victor looked at these people with disgust, one by one, each of them damn well involved with drug trafficking. Even the Speaker, who shouted the loudest, was himself a senior leader of the Sinaloa Drug Cartel.
With a score as high as 13,000,000!
This guy, taking advantage of his position, hadn’t caused little harm to the good people.
The Speaker, with his aggressive aura, was imdiately subdued by Victor, but he was still defiant.
"Victor!"
"Motherfucker! Who allowed you to call my na? Pull him down! Kneel on the ground!"
Two police officers rushed forward nacingly, pulling him down vigorously, and he fought back fiercely, throwing punches in return.
"Resisting?"
Victor, smoking his cigarette, snatched a rifle from a nearby officer, cocked it, and fired bursts at the Speaker.
A whole volley.
After the bullets were spent and still not satisfied, he charged forward, grabbed the Speaker’s corpse, and dragged it to the edge of the platform like dragging a dead dog, the blood soaking the floor. He said grimly to the assembly mbers sitting below, "When I hit you, it’s giving you face. Don’t fucking think I’m kind-hearted!"
"Here, whoever I want dead, has to die!"
"Let alone you lot, willing to be lapdogs for drug traffickers?"
He turned and took the cigarette butt out, squeezing it on the face of God on the cross next to him. Who knows what material it was made of, but that half of the face was instantly scorched, the cigarette butt burning through a hole.
"Useless, can’t even watch over such a small place!"
